MyCat2Vet Campaign by Royal Canin Provides Free Physical Examination and Consultation for Cats

Did you know that cats, have the ability to tolerate and mask signs of pain? Many cat owners do not realize this and therefore, more often than not, not always aware that the cats under their care are sick.

By the time I usually realize that my cats are suffering, it is already too late to treat and they will usually pass on. Sad, right? But fret not, Royal Canin has launched MyCat2Vet Campaign where free consultations and check up are provided to cat owners.

 photo BeautyPlus_20161220221634_save_zpsqjzmn0nv.jpg

I’ve sent my cat for a checkup last weekend under the MyCat2Vet Campaign and I’m glad to report that my furkid is in a tiptop condition.

 photo 20161220_221007_zpsuabk27vq.jpg

My furkid were even given a goodie pack with treats in it to bring back home.

Sounds cool, right? The MyCat2Vet campaign is part of Royal Canin effort in raising greater awareness on the need for cats to get regular check-ups at the vet.

Royal Canin Malaysia has enlisted the support of 200  veterinarian clinics all over the country where cat owners can take their cats for check-ups. Under this collaboration, Royal Canin Malaysia will pick up the tab for the cat’s check-up.

Routine check-ups are important for a multitude of reasons:

*The older a cat gets, the more likely the owner is to take it to the  veterinarian but only when it is sick. By then, it could be too late.

*Routine wellness exams are vital for giving cats the long, happy and healthy lives that they deserve.

*Cats age much more rapidly than humans.

*Vet visits are an opportunity to let your  veterinarian know about any behaviours changes.

* Preventive care is better than reactive care.

Those who are interested to bring their furkids for a free checkup can log on to mycat2vet.my for full details of the registration and panel clinics that are available.

Alternatively, for those without Internet access, they can call Royal Canin’s Hotline at 016 206 9610 from 9am-5pm Monday-Friday to make the necessary arrangements/appointment.

The Campaign runs from 1 December 2016 – 31 December 2016, so make your appointment with the vet of your choice soon.

Ocean Seafood Restaurant, Bandar Puteri Puchong

Looking for an affordable place to feast on seafood without hurting your savings account?

 photo received_412086269123300_zpswu8v59ff.jpeg

Well, here’s one restaurant in Klang Valley that’s offering fresh, delicious seafood dishes at a very reasonable price. Located in the bustling town of Bandar Puteri Puchong, Ocean Seafood Restaurant promises nothing but satisfaction for seafood lovers.

Here’s sharing with you what my family and I managed to sample at this quaint Chinese seafood restaurant:

 photo 20161217_140531_zpskmutp2g5.jpg

Our host ordered 12 dishes for us to try.

Delicious, Affordable Seafood at Ocean Seafood Restaurant, Puchong

Video of the delicious seafood that we tried

 photo 20161217_134140_zps9ev88scg.jpg

Lala with Soup (RM18) . The meaty lala were poached to perfection with wolfberries and thinly sliced ginger. While the dish has a hint of Chinese herbal taste, it was not overpowering and still enjoyable to the palate.

 photo 20161217_141046_zpswljr3icj.jpg

Chinese Spinach Soup(RM12). The soup was naturally sweet and a must order if you are looking for a nutritious starter. It doesn’t have strong vegetable taste and with egg drops in it, even the fussiest child could stomach this dish.

 photo 20161217_140442_zpspyo2d260.jpg

Claypot Steamed Fish(RM15). The garoupa fish were steamed and drizzled with soya sauce. Pretty ordinary, no? But I can assure you that the dish was quite sensational. Despite the fact that it was not prepared in an elaborated way, the simplicity of it allowed us to enjoy the fish in it’s natural sweetness. For a non fish lover, I had quite a helping of this dish and that alone says something about the dish.

 photo 20161217_134948_zpswduaauk6.jpg

Seafood Noodles(RM19.90). This seafood noodle is definitely a gem and a must order if you love seafood and wants a bit of everything. Served generously with crab, prawns, clams and squid, this delicious dish promises great value for your money.

 photo 20161217_135221_zpsuegxzehw.jpg

Spicy Buttermilk Crab (RM50). For just RM50, the dish is quite a steal, I must say. The crabs were bathed in mildly spicy buttermilk gravy and great to be eaten on it’s own or accompanied with a side of fried mantou.

 photo 20161217_134821_zpsq73pjgew.jpg

Indonesian Prawns (RM15). Got to love this one. The prawns were not only fresh but were bursting with flavours. Great to go with a plate of piping hot rice.

 photo 20161217_134908_zpslvu9ix89.jpg

Scallops with Cheese (RM15). Now, this dish was rather unappealing to me in comparison to the rest at the beginning. Obviously it’s another one of my judging a dish by the way it’s presented moment, but I swear to you that this cheesy scallop is nothing short of divine. Saucy, sweet and savoury at the same time, the cheesy scallops is crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Easily likeable, and children especially will love this dish.

 photo 20161217_134757_zpsxefzdkko.jpg

Tea Leaf Chicken (RM20) was all right, I suppose. I’m not exactly a fan of herbal things that much so I just took a little bite and left it alone.

 photo 20161217_134844_zpsnyphab1o.jpg

Yam Ring with Chicken(RM28). I’m allergic to yam so I did not touch this dish. But my son had two helpings of the dish and absolutely loved it, so I guess this dish is all right too.

 photo 20161217_134915_zpshetsjrd3.jpg

Set Lunch-Marmite Chicken (RM8.90). The set lunch comes with a bowl of soup of the day and a drink. Can be ordered to be eaten at the outlet or takeaway.

 photo 20161217_134832_zpsysaemgq2.jpg

Set Lunch-Mantis Prawns (RM9.90). The set lunch comes with a bowl of soup of the day and a drink. Can be ordered to be eaten at the outlet or takeaway.

Total damage for 10pax including drinks? Just RM244.20.Overall the dining experience in Ocean Seafood Restaurant is rather pleasant and with such an affordable price for hige portion of seafood, who can complain? The restaurant is not so crowded during the day at lunch time but they are always almost full house at night during dinner time and if you’re to dine at night with your family or friends, I would recommend you to call in and nake reservations to avoid disappointments.

Chellenge Yourselves with JSPuzzle

I love traveling. But there’s two things about traveling that I absolutely hate: organizing the luggage and the boredom I had to endure before reaching the destination. While there’s not much things I can do about organizing the lugage, there’s plenty of things I usually do while I’m on the road or in transit to kill time.

One of the favourite thing that I do to kill time is playing puzzles. Yes, you are reading that right. Playing puzzles. But not the traditional kind of puzzles where you assemble it piece by piece on the table. Assembling that kind of puzzles would have not been possible when you’re traveling. It would have been messy and not to mention difficult to accomplish. The kind of puzzles I’m talking about is virtual puzzle from JSPuzzles.

 photo Puzzle 1_zpsrfketauj.png

JSPuzzles is a site that offers its users plenty different virtual stock puzzles with options to make gameplay a fairly realistic experience comparable to the traditional physical jigsaw puzzle.

 photo Puzzle5_zpsng7fndag.png

Once you have choosen the category that you want, select how many puzzle pieces that you want to play with. Double click the “Play This Puzzle” button and just click and drag the puzzle pieces. If it is assembled correctly, it will snap into the grid and stay put. Once you had completed the puzzles, you can see your completion times too. You can challenge yourself to complete it faster at your next challenge.

 photo Puzzle 6_zpsi1nstodt.png

There’s also competitive mode where you can see your fastest solving time for the puzzle that you have choosen. A bonus? You can save the puzzles to your favourites and share it with your friends too.

JSPuzzles offers new puzzles In their gallery, you could have everything which include miscellaneous, scenery, nature, animals, art, places, transportation and buildings. If you are lookinh for a challenging game to kill time with, I believe this puzzle site is just the thing that you need.
