Unpredictable weather in Sepang track
The weather is unpredictable in Sepang circuit today. The race had to be halted for awhile at 9th lap until the rain stops. The race resumes at 13th lap after the safety car laps. Hmn…wonder who will win this Petronas Malaysia F1 Grand Prix 2012. The wet circuit in Sepang makes it very difficult to predict who will win.
Cleffairy: Rain, rain, go away and come again another day.

Suspended F1 Cars.
I'm still having F1 fever…so bear with me. Okay, what's the difference between a powerful car and a stud in bed? I'd say…not really much, cuz we can ride them hard and fast and they're still well lubricated and have the stamina to get keep on going.
And like a stud who is up to perform, powerful cars like F1 cars, can not only be driven fast and hard, but it can also be suspended in the air…just like these…
Cool, isn't it?
In my opinion, this is not just cool, but sexy as well. Looking at a car like this can actually make my heart race faster…
It makes me feel so high.
Cuz in truth, no one can actually see the underside of an F1 car under normal circumstances. You'd only be able to see it only if an F1 driver had and accident or something and the car was flipped over for the world to see.

Sago worms
Will you eat these? Smallkucing and Mamarazzi bought me these, and it was really delicious. I prefer my sago worms to be alive when I eat them, they are juicier and slurpier when they are still alive, but they died on the way back and Mamarazzi had to fry em up for me before she gave them to me. Poor Mamarazzi. She knew that I like my worms alive. She bought so much and yet some of them died before they even reach home. Perhaps these creature are delicate and couldn't survive long if thet are not in their tree bark.
Sad, isn't it? They are very expensive too, as far as I'm concerned.
I ate half tub of these and left some for my husband. He likes it too, but unfortunately for him, the worms triggered allergy reaction, and within minutes, his body was full of red spots and big rashes. I was really shocked, but I guess it is a good thing cuz next time, there will be more worms for me. Hahahahaha!
Neway, thank you Smallkucing and family for the load of goodies. I love them alot.
Cleffairy: Yummy yummy worms, come to mummy!

Meeting Micheal Shumacher and Nico Rosberg
On normal days, if you happen to look up from the ground of Concourse KLCC area, it will look like this:
Or maybe like this
But yesterday, the crowd was really crazy. It's like this
Horrifying? Yes. It nearly give me a heart attack, but I'm really a huge fan of F1 racing…ahem…make that Micheal Shumacher's big fan. I've been following his career ever since I was a kid.
My boys are a big fan too, and so, when the kind folks from Petronas updated me that Malaysia Mercedes F1 racers will be here in KLCC for a children's outreach program and a meet and greet session would still be on despite the fact that the one to one media engagement session as well as the press conference has been cancelled, I knew that I'd have to conquer my fear of being in a massive crowd so that me and my boys could meet the racers in person. My boy was really excited about it, and he wants his red cap to be autographed.
It was a real challenge to get near for the autograph. The crowd was wild and crazy and the bouncers are aggresive and rude. They do not hesitate to push people away if they think we're getting too near. Media and the public alike receives the same treatment.Security on the other hand are really strict, but not as horrible as the bouncers. They're the worst lot.
I managed to bring the boy close to the racers, somehow…
Quite a miracle, I must say.
Managed to get the young and dashing Nico Rosberg
And the dashing and charming Shuey himself to sign the red cap for my boy…
We not only managed to get the cap autographed, but managed to snap some pics and shake their hands too. And on top of that, Nico and Shuey gave us these as well…
Autographed biography cards. Shuey was so nice to draw a smiley on it too.
It was really exhausting and terrifying to have to deal with the crowds…but everyone was happy by the end of the day. It is wonderful to get close to the racers in person and not just on tv while they're racing.
Nico Rosberg was really shy in person. He was blushing all the way,but the same cannot be said for Shuey. He's very friendly and a real charmer. He's also very good with children and very warm kind of guy.
Cleffairy: Tsk…my love knows no bound. The things I'll do for my boys…who would have thought I'd survive the crowds?

Petronas Malaysia F1 Grand Prix Street Concert in KLCC
It's the year 2012 and it's been a decade since I live in Kuala Lumpur, capital city of Malaysia, and nothing about Kuala Lumpur seems to amuse or amaze me anymore. Everything became ordinary to me and slowly, I stopped taking a break to fully absorb the true beauty of Kuala Lumpur and what this lively city has to offer.
Life in Kuala Lumpur is much more exciting and happening if you stop for awhile to see what's going on around you. Kuala Lumpur is much more exhilirating if you see it from a tourist's or a globetrotter's point of view.
Kuala Lumpur is basically a concrete jungle, and a home to the iconic Petronas Twin Tower.
This majestic building have been a witness to many touristy events, and no doubt it's not going to stop being a host to many more interesting events in the future. I was in KLCc earlier and discovered that this place will be hosting a street concert in conjunction of the upcoming Formula 1 Grand Prix 2012 in Sepang Circuit. Yep…the F1 fever is back.
You might wonder what these folks are doing. Well, they are taking a break from building this
And this
The stage is rather huge, and many renown local and foreign artists will be entertaining on this stage for the Petronas Malaysia F1 Street Concert.
Will it be a blast? I don't know. This is something you have to find out yourself.
The concert will be held on 23rd March 2012 from 6.30pm-2.30am at Plaza KLCC. Since this is a street concert,no tickets is needed and you may just drop by and have fun.
Cleffairy: When was the last time you stop walking or driving so fast and just be grateful of what you have and enjoy what the world have to offer?

Petronas Malaysia F1 Grand Prix 2012-F1 Car Showcase.
Are you a huge fan of F1 race? I'm not sure if you are, but I'm definitely one. I've been watching F1 race since ten years back. F1 had much more drama back then during the year 2000-2002. Who can forget the cocky Juan Pablo Montoya and the goodie and gentlemenly Shumacher brothers, Micheal and Ralph Shumacher? And yeah, the crybaby Mika Hakkinen too. I could never forget those glorious F1 era.
Juan Pablo Montoya may no longer be in the F1 circuit and Micheal Shumacher may no longer race for my favourite team Ferrari after coming out from his short retirement, but I still watch F1 whenever it's racing season. The speed during the race exhilirate me, and the car's aerodynamic and technology fascinates me.
And so, when I was invited by Petronas themselves for a blogger event in KLCC, I was really thrilled. I may have watched F1 race before, but I have never been up closed with an F1 car before. The Petronas Malaysia F1 Grand Prix 2012 showcase is pretty cool.
Just look at this sexy F1 car.
Being able to see an F1 car this close is really an experience for me.
Invited bloggers were allowed to get near to the car and we were briefed about the car's specs.
I was really fascinated with the car's cockpit.
The space was really small and looks like a Playstation car game joystick, but this is the place that actually controls the entire car.
And actually keeps the driver safe despite of the speed and the extreme heat of the race. This technology is really amazing.
Bloggers were also invited to try a new F1 game, known as 'The Sound of Speed'. The game is based on sound recognition and gamers are supposed tobuse their voice to match the speed of the ingame F1car. I didn't managed to try, though, cuz there was too many people. I browsed around in the event's site instead.
Apart from the F1 car, there is also a Mercedes sport's car on display.
Nice, isn't it? Well, the price is nice too.
You may sit and drive this car for Rm1.8 million.
There was also various merchandises on sale.
F1 designer's outfit.
Car collectibles
And even soft toys.
And of course, not forgetting various products from Petronas.
Syntium, the official lubricant for Petronas Mercedes F1 car.
Intetested in taking a peek at the cars on display? Want to get some of the merchandises? Wanna meet and greet Mercedes Malaysia F1 racer, Nico Rosberg and Micheal Shumacher? Or simply wanna admire the pretty grid girls? Well you may head over to the Petronas Malaysia F1 Grand Prix showcase at KLCC, concourse area from 18th March to 25th March 2012.
Cleffairy: Driven to win.

Grilled stingray
After going to the hot air-balloon fiesta in Putrajaya, my entire family was famished, but we decided not to eat in the fiesta itself cuz things are rather expensive. And not to mention the crazy crowd that goes with it in those food stalls in the fiesta site.
We decided to go back to our place and go back to our regular food court where we usually lurk. I spotted a new grilled seafood stall and decided to give it a try. I may not eat fish with tiny bones, but I do enjoy eating stingrays. And so, we ordered that.
A small piece of stingray costs us Rm10.00, excluding the rice. The stingray was well done and was satisfactory, but I was surprised that it did not come with a side of ladies' fingers' sambal.
Feels cheated, even though the fish was nice. I could have sworn I saw the cook grilling the sambal ladies' finger along with the stingrays before i ordered the dish.
SOBS! Do I have to order separately for that?
Cleffairy: Feels cheated!

Putrajaya Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2012
I insisted on going to the Putrajaya Hot Air Balloon Fiesta last night cuz I got sick and tired of rotting at home throughout the entire school holiday. The victim is of course my husband who had to drive and endure the massive traffic jam in Putrajaya for selfish little me. Parking was almost non-existent and some irresponsible drivers even decided to park their vehicle on the Putrajaya bridge itself. But despite all that, we miraculously managed to reach the fiesta in time…and it was really wonderful.
There's lotsa inflated and flamed up balloons by the time we reach the fiesta ground…
There's all sort of hot air balloons over there…from various parts of the world. But I did not see the famous Darth Vader balloon anywhere this year.
Perhaps Darth Vader has been defeated byLuke Skywalker and couldn't make it to the fiesta this year.
There's not only balloons during the light show, but there were also fireworks display along with fire dance performances.
It was quite an experience, I must say, and if you're asking me if it's worth all the troubles to go to the fiesta to see those hot air balloons, then my answer is yes. It's quite worth your time, and quite worth suffering for.
Cleffairy:Tsk tsk… next year I must make a point to get a close up pic and vid of those semi-naked fire dancers. THEY ARE HOT!

Will you even realize it when I'm gone?
An author/blogger friend of mine, Zara, uploaded this picture on her Facebook a couple of hours ago as of writing this post. I got to know Zara a few years back when she's still writing her blog in English. I was one of her regular reader, but only kept in touch with her via Facebook after she started to write in Malay language. (sorry, Zara, I'm not so good in Malay language… so I feel abit intimidated to go to your blog and comment. I feel as if I didn't fit in. *blush*)
The stats update that goes with this picture is:
'Satu hari nanti, dia tahu yang dia tidak lagi bersama saya walaupun saya sangat sayangkan dia :')'
Literally translated, it means: One day, he will know that he is no longer with me even though I love him dearly.
While most wouldn't really read the comment that came along with the picture and respond on how pretty the shoe is or ask her what brand it is, I couldn't help but think differently. I feel as if the pair of shoes without a wearer is a perfect metaphor for someone who is being taken for granted or not being appreciated, and is slowly making an effort to disappear from one's life without being noticed.
Somehow, the picture and the description that goes with it touches my heart. Maybe I'm misreading her posting, but if she's using the pair of shoes as a metaphor, then I think I get her.
You see, I've always feel that it's people whom we love most is the one who take us for granted and is indifferent towards our feelings. They…our loved ones… be it family, spouse or close friends, more often than not expects us to be by their side always even though they take us for granted and countlessly hurt our feelings with or without intending to do so.
We… are often expected to understand, to be patient and be tolerant of them, even though they take us for granted or act indifferent towards us. They expects us to love them unconditionally even though they neglect to do the same in return. They expects us to stand by them, no matter what happens.
Some people…family, friends, relatives, spouses, loved ones expects too much. Most do not realize that we are human too, and there is a limit to all of that neglect and indifference. They did not know that one day, we will leave them too cuz we simply could not take it anymore and find someone else who deserves us or someone who actually appreciates our presence.
Sad to say this…but most did not realize that their loved ones are hurting or crying before they sleep because they feel that they are no longer important in one's life or even worthy of that random phone calls during the day or a simple gesture of affection.
Sad to say, that alot of people thinks that their other half and those whom they cared about will always be there for them when the truth is not that. Not everyone will tolerate that. Not everyone have the courage to stay, or let their hearts to be crushed countlessly. Not everyone is strong enough to withstand emotional abuse.
Sad to say…not many will realize that some of us will choose to stop hurting and walk away to simply find someone who actually appreciates our presence and makes us feel loved, needed and worthy of one's unconditional affection.
Yes…some of us… will choose to walk away to lick the wound and find someone who actually deserves us.
This is going to sound like some telco's advertisement tagline, but do you wait to make that call? Or do you wait for a reason or a special occasion to show your loved ones that you care?
Don't make them feel that they need a reason to call you, because they might just get fed up of getting sidelined and being put aside. They might get fed up of you choosing your work over them. They might get fed up of you choosing to be with others than them. And they might just get fed up with everything and just…quit hoping for you to actually notice and appreciates their presence in your life.
Don't wait til it's too late. Show them that you still care, still love them and is still worthy of your affection. You may never know when they decided that they could no longer take it and just walk away so that they can spare themselves from crying themselves to bed because they're just number two, or three in your life.
Cleffairy: Are you the sort of person who will realize that someone's is actually gone from your life when you see a pair of shoes without a wearer beside you?
