FANTASIA AND THE COOK FAMILY

According to Radaronline.com, Fantasia is trying to get close to Antwaun Cook's mother. Unfortunately, it's not working. Her mother seems to be close to Antwaun's wife, who sued Fantasia for destroying her marriage. After aborting her first child with Antwaun, Fantasia now has a son with him. He was born in December 2011.

ROSIE LET GO

I figured this would happen. OWN is in serious need of some programming direction right now. It was obvious that Rosie O'Donnell's show wasn't cutting the mustard. I wasn't watching it and I don't know anybody who was. So, Oprah has canceled Rosie's show on her network.

Oprah needs to do some soul searching. There's only a couple of shows that I've watched but I think if she works on diversifying the shows, she'll see improvement in her ratings.

EL DEBARGE CLEARED

TMZ reported earlier this week that El Debarge was arrested for drug possession with intent to sell. I know...I said the same thing (Drug sells?). It looks like the police has cleared him of charges due to lack of evidence. The only thing they had was crack cocaine under a car and another man claiming he was meeting with El to purchase it.

BOBBI KRISTINA TALKS TO OPRAH

It's hard to believe that it's been almost a month since Whitney Houston's death but it has. Houston's daughter, Bobbi Kristina, talked to Oprah a couple of weeks ago. That interview will air tonight on OWN. Her aunt and uncle will join her in talking about the late singer/actress.

I don't know that I'd be up to talking about my mother so soon after her demise but if Bobbi Kristina is up for it, good for her.

MAGIC JOHNSON, DIDDY NETWORKS

According to the Associated Press, Comcast will launch 4 new minority targeted networks in the next 2 years; two of them belong to Magic Johnson and Diddy. Magic's network, Aspire, will air movies, comedy and a number of faith influenced programming. Diddy's network, Revolt, will air music videos, live performances and music news. Aspire is set for a summer launch, while Diddy's network will launch next year.

VANESSA MILLINO AND NICK LACHEY EXPECTING

Earlier this week, former boybander Nick Lachey announced on Live! With Kelly that his wife, former VJ Vanessa is pregnant. The two married last summer. They dated 5 years. Nick was previously married to Jessica Simpson.

Congrats to them! A new babe is always good news.

TYRA GRADUATES FROM HARVARD

Tyra Banks graduated from Harvard Business School on Friday. The former model and talk show host wanted to better her brand. So, she enrolled in the prestigious university in 2011.

BOBBY BROWN TELL-ALL

Speaking of Bobby Brown, The Huffington Post and other source report that Brown is thinking about releasing a tell-all book on his late wife, Whitney Houston, just 2 weeks after her death. Apparently, he'd tried to sell a book about their life together in 2008 but couldn't generate enough interest.

I hope this is not true. If it is, I don't think it'll sell well. I know I wouldn't buy it.

AS BREEZY'S WORLD TURNS

His high from winning a Grammy has been short lived. This week, Chris Brown had a blogger offer $1,000 for someone to beat him up and a fan filed a police report against him for snatching her phone. The later incident occurred in Miami, as he was leaving a club. The fan tried to snap a picture of Chris with her IPhone. She says he told her that she wouldn't be putting it on the Internet and snatched the phone.

WHITNEY HOUSTON'S HOMEGOING

Whitney Houston's funeral will be televised today at 11:30am on several stations. The channels covering the private gathering of Houston's closest friends and family are CNN, MSNBC, BET, Centric and E!. CNN started their coverage early. Aretha Franklin, Dionne Warwick, Denzel Washington, and Kevin Costner are among the people who will be there to celebrate the late star's life. The last time a star's funeral was publicized was a few years ago when Michael Jackson passed.
