SOUL FOOD RETURN
For those of you that miss the series Soul Food, you'll be happy to know that Fox is looking at bringing the show back. The original show, based on the major motion picture, ran from 2000-2004 on Showtime.
Hollywood is bringing a lot of movies and shows back. It's making me think they're running out of story ideas. Talk to me! I'll give you some.

#DEMBABIES
If you watched 20/20 last night, you saw Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon show the world their 6 months old twins, Moroccan and Monroe. The two dished to Barbara Walters about their kids, life and marriage. Besides the subtle disagreement about the kids' future vocations, they looked pretty happy.
You can see pictures of the baby at www.dembabies.com. Proceeds generated from visitors will be donated to charity.

TERRELL OWENS OVERDOSE?
This week, various reports say that football player Terrell Owens (better known as T.O.) may have suffered a prescription pill overdose. Last week, 911 was called for him. He was transported to a hospital but has since been released. Allegedly, something like this happened to him a few years ago.
Man, people have to be careful with prescription drugs. I hope this wasn't intentional.

RICK ROSS SEIZURE
According to TMZ, rapper Rick Ross suffered 2 seizures yesterday while trying to fly to a show. The first one was while he was on a Delta plane. The pilot made an emergency landing so that he could be rushed to a hospital. The second seizure took place on a private jet. As of now, the rapper is conscious and stable.
He might want to take it easy. It can't be good to have to separate seizures in one day.

DIDDY POURS CIROC
This week, reports surfaced that Diddy lost it at Compound ATL. According to various sources, Diddy got angry because he saw people drinking Grey Goose and not Ciroc (his alcoholic beverage). He then proceeded to pour Ciroc on the crowd.
This is the second time in a week or two that I've heard of some incident involving Diddy. I think he should calm down and thank his lucky stars that he doesn't have bigger problems, like homelessness. Seriously, he should watch the news sometimes so he can g...

USHER - WITHOUT YOU
I started hearing this song on the radio after Usher performed it at The IHeartRadio Music Festival, except the radio station plays the Pop/Techno version. It's cute but I think Usher's voice is a little too soulful for this attempt at sappy sentimentality.

THE SANDERS ON THE BRINK
Last week, various sources reported that Deion Sanders had filed for divorce from his wife, Pilar Sanders. Pilar issued a statement that seemed to confirm the split but Deion later told The Insider's Kevin Frazier that he hadn't filed for divorce. Deion did tell TMZ.com that the Sanders have discussed it and are trying to figure out what to do with their family now.
I'm sorry to hear the Sanders are going through changes. I actually like them as a couple. I hope they can work it out...

CONRAD MURRAY TRIAL
As the trial for Conrad Murray, Michael Jackson's doctor, commenced this week, testimonies from paramedics and Jackson's assistant indicate that the doctor waited at least 20 minutes to call the 911. The paramedics also say that Murray was "frantic" and never mentioned propofol, the drug that ultimately caused Jackson's death.
Murray is on trial for involuntary manslaughter and if convicted, he faces 4 years in prison and loss of his medical license. I think he should lose his medical license ...
DAMAGE CONTROL TWEETING
Ashton Kutcher and wife Demi Moore have been swarmed with rumors that they are on the brink of divorce. The rumors come from evidence that they didn't spend their anniversary together and that Kutcher may have hooked up with another woman.
Kutcher tweeted "Don't believe the hype" linking followers to the popular Public Enemy song. Funny. I don't wish divorce on anyone so maybe their union will be fine but sometimes…where there's smoke, there's fire.
