Tonya:  Liz, thank you so much for being my guest all week. Readers love to know more about theirauthors. Tell us a bit about yourself.

Tonya:  Some of us have things we do to get into thewriting frame of mind like music, or drinks. Do you have anything special youdo to get into the writing mood?
Liz:  I think the fact is that I'm always in thewriting mood. I have to work very hard to focus on anything else while thecharacters are talking.
Tonya:  Where do your ideas come from?
Liz:  My ideas come from everywhere. Totally not anexaggeration either. I read newspaper articles and in the back of my mind I'mwondering, 'will this be useful later on?' The answer is almost always yes.

Liz:  I am a 'whenever I can get it done' writer. And no I don't have to be alone to write. Some of my best writing happens inthe library at school.
Tonya:  Do you write better when you first have anidea of what your characters look like or do you write, then add characterlooks?

Erotic Author - Matt McMurphy

 Matt McMurphy Erotic Romance Author

Readers...for you female readers, I'll wait while you go now and grab a towel or an extra pair of panties! It's only a fair warning to you before you even start reading or you'll ruin your chair! Go on...we'll wait!
Now that you're all back with us, my guest today is the sexy Matt McMurphy! If you've not read his books yet, grab your pencil and start writing these titles down or bookmark his sites! He rates books on their orgasm ratings so you know HIS are going to be detailed stories to get you slippery wet. Psst... ladies, no oggling his ass when he comes in!
*the doorbell sounds* Hi Matt! Come sit down with us. We're dying to know a little more about the man behind the keyboard. Ladies...Matt McMurphy...live and in color!
Tonya:  Matt, readers love to know more about theirauthors. Tell us a bit about yourself.
Matt: I don't know how much I should tell. Matt P McMurphy is a pseudonym. I'mnot sure the other parents of my son's baseball and basketball teams wouldunderstand. On the other hand, I also wouldn't be surprised if a few of themare reading my books one handed, or using them to get heated up for an amorousevening. To answer the questionsimply, I'm a single father with custody of my son. I coach his sports teamsand generally have a great time with him. He's the light of my life. Thedownside is that I'm a terrible cook, so we eat simple fare, usually grilled. I like staying active,so I mountain bike and hike. In the last few months, I've started doingCrossFit, which I love. It's a strenuous workout, but perfect for an ex-jocklike me. Plus, I don't know if you've ever heard of the "CrossFit Booty," butif I may say, the eye candy at the gym is to die for.
Tonya:  *no wonder I noticed his tight ass when hecame in..hhmmm*  Do you have a day job?
Matt:  Because I'm a single father, fullyresponsible for all of my son's transportation (school, sports, friend'shouses) I've had to be self-employed for years. I make my living writing(including non-erotic writing not under my pen name), and in another business.I have always been very interested in health and wellness and I stumbled on aproduct that I believe is the biggest breakthrough in that arena that I've everseen. It's not something I ordinarily would have become involved with from abusiness perspective, but I am so enthused about the product that I couldn'thelp myself. It's a real game-changer and it's fun for me to tell people aboutit. I also have just enough geek in me so that the science behind the productis fascinating to me. That business, as well as the writing, are both growing.
Tonya:  Congrats on finding a niche out there thatalso pays enough to do what you want! Some of us have things we do to get intothe writing frame of mind like music, or drinks. Do you have anything specialyou do to get into the writing mood?
Matt:  I really don't. Typically what happens for meis that a story will pop into my head, or a concept, and I'll sit down and juststart playing with it (the story, that is… I have to clarify when we're talkingabout books you read one handed). Usually the thing writes itself. Often, I'llbe in the middle of it and I'll take my dog for a hike and some new thing, orthe "what happens after that" scene will come to me. Basically, I just let mydirty mind run wild and hope I can type fast enough not to miss something mydirty mind is saying.
Tonya:  I can relate to the typing-fast-enough-to-keep-up-with-my-thoughtsprocess! Do you have a card file where you keep story ideas? Where do they comefrom?
Matt:  I don't have a card file. I just have mymemory. As I said above, the ideas will just pop into my head. I have a coupleof concepts that I want to get to, but not so many that I need a card file.
Tonya:  If you're self-published, can you tell us abit about that and how it's going for you?
Matt: My first self-published book was a paperback (not erotica under Matt PMcMurphy) and I went through the expense of finding a printer, sending themanuscript to an editor I paid, etc. I chose that route because traditionalpublishing is such a pain in the ass. And, in the recession (but even beforethat) publishing houses were spending money on sure things rather than newauthors. I didn't really have the patience to seek out a boutique publishinghouse that might be interested, plus it all takes so much time. So, I went thatroute. In the meantime,ePublishing began coming into its own. Suddenly, you could publish an eBook atno cost, other than your time and effort. The sales of eBook readers (Kindle,Nook, iPad) has skyrocketed. Did you see the sales numbers over the recentholidays for eBook readers? It's unbelievable. I love the fact that you can putyour work out there and let the people decide whether or not it becomespopular. In this genre (erotica), it's particularly nice because people canhave a very private experience buying the book, and then have a very privateexperience reading it.My sales are growing ona month to month basis. I just wish more readers took the time to writereviews. That can make a huge difference for an author. I'm very confident thatmy eBooks are delivering what people want when they buy the books. I wish moreof them would take the time to write a quick review letting others know thatthey enjoyed it. On the other hand, I do understand that writing a review oferotica may seem like a person is violating their own privacy. Like manypeople, I read a lot of different types of books (standard fiction, non-fiction,as well as erotica). I wish it was easier for people to have more reviewerpseudonyms so that they could feel more free to review "The Life of AbrahamLincoln" under one name and "How I Became a Swinger, A Love Story" underanother. I'm in that same situation right now. I have written several reviewsof erotica, and I just finished a book by a friend that is just straightfiction. If I write him a review on Amazon using the same reviewer name andsomeone clicks "Other reviews by this reviewer" they're going to see Anal Love and Swallowing Secrets and, of course, The Boss's Pet series. It makes me hesitant to give my pal hisreview.
Tonya:  In answer to that, I've opened two accountswith Amazon so I can review standard fiction under thatn name. A bit ofcheating but it gets around the issue. Are you a daytime writer, night timewriter, and do you have to be alone to write?
Matt:  I write in the daytime mostly, but if I'mright in the middle of a scene I really want to finish, I go back in the officeafter dinner and work.
Tonya:  Do you write better when you first have anidea of what your characters look like or do you write, then add characterlooks?
Matt:  My imagination is very visual, so I usuallysee the main characters in my mind. Some of the ancillary characters I make upas I go, but they're generally based on someone I know, or sometimes a pictureI've seen that I find intriguing.
Tonya:  We're dying to hear about your latest book. What can you tell us without spoiling the storyline?
Matt: I'm working on the fourth book in the increasingly inappropriately namedSwinger trilogy (fans of Douglas Adams will get that reference). It startedwith the main characters, Michael and Stacia, meeting, falling in love, andexploring their long repressed sexual desires together. They explored what theywanted to do one on one, then advanced to swinging, including swinging withanother couple and with a swinger group. The second book picks up theirrelationship as they start a business manufacturing sex toys that Michaeldesigned. It leads to some great scenes as they test products with theirfriends and sell them at swinger clubs. The third book added an old friend ofStacia's who, it turns out, loves serving people sexually. It's something shenever realized about herself, but the couple brings it out in her. What I like about booksabout swinging is that there are so many opportunities to put new things into thesexual scenes. Nothing is impossible when you're writing about an orgy.Someone, with all of the people, is going to have a fun kink. People will findthemselves in positions they'd otherwise never put themselves in, and suddenlythey're having a sexual experience that is completely new to them.In the fourthinstallment, I'm going to take Michael and Stacia farther out into the world, having new and different experiences with new people. Of course some of the oldfriends from the previous books will be in it too, particularly their littlesubmissive friend.
Tonya:  Whew! Those all sound hot and my imaginationis already in full swing! I love writing a series because we can revisit oldfriends, introduce new ones, and go in so many directions while still stayingin the series. Where can our readers find you and your books?
Matt:  You can find me on Twitter @mattpmcmurphy. Mybooks are on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and at Smashwords. I also have a blogwhere I post samples of my books, some random thoughts, and even some quickstories if something happens to come into my mind. The blog address is: http://mattpmcmurphy.blogspot.com.
Tonya:  Is there anything else you want to tell ourreaders?
Matt:  I write my books to get people excited. Toget them off, if getting off while reading erotica is what they want to do. Ifa couple is sharing the book, I want to enhance their excitement and help themhave great sex. To me, a good erotica book (particularly the hard core type Iwrite) should contain many scenes that bring the sexual excitement to a peak.Obviously, the story should be good too, or it detracts from the sex scenes. Ieven like to throw in a bit of humor. Everything I write is geared towardproviding those scenes where the sexual excitement induces orgasm for those whoare reading one handed, and to providing many of them. When I read erotica (I'ma one handed reader, too) that is what I think provides value. As a writer, I'mdoing my best to provide my readers with that value.
Tonya:  *throwing sexy smiles at Matt* I wish I couldlook at you with a straight face but to tell the truth, my mind is no longer onour interview, Matt! LOL but we'll keep going here. I'll try to keep my mind onbusiness! *squirming in my seat* What is your favorite night time snack?
Matt:  Fruit and nuts, usually apples or oranges.I'm trying to stay healthy. It makes no sense to me to bust my butt atCrossFit, and then eat foods that waste the workout.
Tonya:  So true…and a healthy body creates a vividimagination! Who is your favorite character in your books?
Matt: My favorite character is Stacia. I really fell in love with her in How I Became a Swinger, A Love Story. She is sweet and innocent, yet highly charged sexually. Having been in a verycontrolling marriage before she divorced and met Michael, she has a sense ofwonder as she explores the highly sexual side of herself and discovers not onlyher sexual freedom, but also her freedom to be who she is. Plus, she's hot ashell.
I also really enjoyedwriting the male characters in my MyEx-Girlfriend's Daughter (and sequel) and What Happens in Vegas Stays… On the Highlight Reel. Both storiesare told in the first person and I enjoyed conveying their thoughts about whatwas happening. Their thoughts provided opportunities to insert humor and I likethat.
Tonya:  *meeting Matt's gaze, wondering if I should actually ask my next question*  What about your sex life? What do youpersonally like sexually?
Matt: My sex life is too tame right now. In the past, before theresponsibility of being a single dad, I did some swinging, went to swingersclubs, and also dated and had a lot of sex.If you read my books,it becomes clear that I'm pretty oral (as well as being a real fan of ladies'butts). I absolutely love going down on a sexy lady and bringing her to massiveclimaxes orally. There's something so great about feeling the woman'sreactions, learning how to read her and do what pleasures her most, and thenexperiencing her as she has her orgasm… I've been told many times (even bybisexual women!) that I'm really great at eating pussy. Like with anything else,if you love it, you get good at it. Plus, I've actually read books and watchedvideos on the subject. It's something I really wanted to be good at, because itis so exciting to me to give my partner great orgasms. And, if there are anyguys reading this and they want a little tip, here it is: If you make damnedsure she's had at least one massive orgasm, women tend to love to reciprocate,so you'll get enthusiastic head in return, and once you've started the orgasmtrain, she will be much more likely to continue having orgasms as you have sex.If sex with you results in extreme pleasure for her, she will have more sexwith you.Tonya?? Readers, Ithink she's faded away on me…oh my gawd! LOL  Tonya??? Readers, if you go visit my sites andfollow me, then come back, I think she'll rejoin us in a few minutes here! I'llsee what I can do to get her back.

Blurb:
Taking a long over due vacation,Art Instructor, Dylan Bishop is eager to start his trip to the cabin in themountains. When he saw the photo online with the rental ad, he knew this washis destination. Being drawn to the lake nestled behind the cabin with aprivate dock, Dylan hopes to regain his inspiration to paint.
His vacation takes an erotic turnwhen he meets Rainie Marks on a foggy morning by the dock. She is the mostbeautiful woman he has ever seen. However, there is sadness and a mystery abouther. Finding his inspiration, he sketches her one evening and unable to resistthe passion that has sparked between them, Rainie and Dylan share a sensualnight together.
When Rainie tells him the truthabout her past and the lake, the mystery she hides unfolds. The key toeverything is the lake. Will Dylan be able to help her put the past to rest?
Excerpt:
Dylan wakes up with the sheetstangled around his legs. Both pillows are tossed about the bed and thecomforter is on the floor.Rainie is gone.Grabbing the sheets away, he sitson the edge, running his fingers through his hair. When did she leave? I must have slept hard to not hear her get up.Putting on his jeans, he quickly heads to the kitchen to look out the window, frantically searching the shoreline. Relieved, he sees her by the dock. Openingthe back door, he shivers as the cold air hits his chest; ignoring it, he callsout to her."Rainie, it's freezing out here.Come on up."She turns around and walks towardthe deck. "You're going to freeze to death if you don't put more clothes on.""I'll put more on if you come infor coffee." He opens the door wider. As Rainie brushes past him, he inhalesthe lavender scent from her hair, reminding him of last night. "Well, we cantake off our clothes once I build a fire and repeat last night.""Last night?""Yes, and I forgot to thank you forsuch a pleasurable night." Shutting the door, Dylan reaches for her coat. "I'llget the fire started and make coffee right quick."Rainie stares into the flames as hehands her a cup and places his on the coffee table. "I'll go put on a shirt. It'll be a while before the room warms up." Noticing the distant look in hereyes, he takes her hand. "Are you all right?"Smiling, she squeezes his hand."Yes, hurry back."Rainieopen up to me, please. My heart aches when you are sad.As he walks from the bedroom, buttoning his shirt, the scene before him slams into his heart.Sitting on the floor in front ofthe fire, she holds her cup tightly in her hands while rocking slowly back andforth. The heat from the flames has kissed her face, causing a pinkish glow onher cheeks. Something is bothering her.Grabbing his cup off the table and settling beside her, he leans over andpushes his shoulder affectionately against hers.Nuzzling his nose close to her ear,he whispers, "A penny for your thoughts."Smiling, she closes her eyes, takesa deep breath and shifts her body to face him. "Dylan, what I'm about to tellyou may seem far fetched, but please listen and keep an open mind. Others whohave stayed here did not believe me.""I've been waiting for you to tellme why you got upset while we were out in the boat. Wait. Just how manyothers?""No one like you. Meaning, Ihaven't been with anyone else. For years, I've tried to get someone to listen." "I'm all ears, Rainie." Leaning back on hiselbows and stretching out his legs, he gives her his undivided attention. She sighs, her eyes begging forunderstanding.

Erotic Author Cara Bristol

 Cara Bristol Erotic Romance Author

You just might need a fresh pair of panties after reading all the way through this post! Just sayin'.....  Cara, thank you so much for joining us this week. Our readers will have some great questions or comments for you at the end. Readers, be sure to comment and leave your email addy - Cara is running a contest and will pick one lucky commenter Friday night! Enjoy and thank you for reading!

Older woman, younger man…hot or not?
Older woman/younger man pairings used to raise both eyebrowsand whispers, but these days the reaction is more likely to be "HOT." What isit about the cougar relationship that makes it so? Is it the idea of a woman havingsex with a buff, young stud? Well, yeah! But it's more than that.
For many women, reaching a mature age presents anopportunity to explore their sexuality in ways they haven't done before. Inraising families, being devoted wives and mothers, holding down jobs, womenhave put their own needs on the back burner. But now that they've foundthemselves suddenly single due to divorce (or death), they're ready to fly insearch of adventure.
Except that their contemporaries – men their own age – havebecome grounded, settled, stuck in a rut. They may have certain expectations ofhow a woman in her 40s or 50s should act. But young men…ah, they present afresh, even daring outlook. They brim with energy and youthful vigor in a waythat is contagious. Just being around them makes a woman feel younger, moreactive, and more attractive.
And, from a purely practical side, if a mature single womanwants to date – she may have to date younger. Given the propensity formature men to date much younger women, the pool of available men a woman's ownage shrinks as she gets ages.
But rather than treating a woman's age as a negative, toyoung men, it's a position. They view her as sexually experienced andadventurous. And chances are, she is – much more so than women their age. And,she's not looking to get married right away and make babies.
In Reckless in Moonlight, Dana Markus is devastated when herhusband of twenty-three years (who was very vanilla sexually) leaves her for amuch younger woman. When she contemplates what would happen if she took a younglover, she jokes to herself that she'll be able to show him a thing or two. Andthen on impulse – under the sway of the full moon – she gets involved with LonCorbin, a medical resident seventeen years her junior. This is her chance tofly.
Reckless in Moonlight Blurb:
Forty-five-year-old Dana Markusknows a full moon makes people act crazy. It's why they call the power companywith stories about aliens disrupting the earth's climate. It probably explainswhy her ex-husband left her for a girl scarcely older than their college-agedaughter. It definitely accounts for why she impulsively invited the neighbor'shunk of a son over for a skinny-dip. And why 28-year-old Lon Corbin accepted.Lon doesn't think much of the massof rock orbiting the earth, but he does think he's the luckiest man alive whenthe sexy divorcee he's admired from afar invites him into her pool. He knowsshe has reservations about their age difference, but he's planning to show herin a very physical way how good they could be together if she'll give him thechance. But when their simmering privatepassion boils over into a public relationship, family pressures and schemesthreaten to split the couple apart. The moon brought them together--  but will it save them?
Reckless in MoonlightExcerptBack and forth, back andforth, Lon Corbin ran the sea sponge over the hood of his car. If it seemed oddthat someone would wash his vehicle at night, well, the moon was full, and noone knew better than Dana Markus that moonlight compelled people to do strangethings. Why else was she ogling the neighbors' twenty-something son like he wasa strawberry dipped in Godiva chocolate? And Lon offered so much toenjoy. A tiny moan of appreciation escaped her lips. From the top of his head, covered by thick amber hair, to his bare tippy toes, his majestic, youthfulbody inspired her to stand and salute. Strong, broad shoulders and a smoothchest decorated by lickable flat nipples tapered to slim hips and powerful thighsthat were hugged by faded blue jeans. His legs weren't the only impressive bodyparts the fabric molded; the heavy denim cupped a massive bulge furthershowcased by the wetness of the fabric. He'd soaked himself cleanthrough with the hose. Water droplets sluiced down his arms, his chest, hisflat abdomen…and led the way to his thick sex. Lon dipped the sponge intothe bucket again, then swirled it over the hood, round and round, makingcircles to ensure he got every spot. Every one. Dana admired a conscientiousman who paid attention to detail, who took pride in a job well done.He dipped again. Oops. Hesplashed himself with the soapy water. Dana licked her lips as her gazefollowed the bubbles' journey over his chest and down his ripped abdomen, wherethey soaked into the waistband of his low-slung jeans.Oh, to be those bubbles!Another moan, louder thistime, erupted from her throat and drew Lon's attention. Their eyes met acrosstheir adjacent driveways, and he flashed an all-American, 100 percent sexygrin."Hot, isn't it?" His lowvoice vibrated like distant thunder, and Dana knew he wasn't talking about theair temperature but rather the sexual tension that snapped and sizzled like alightning strike between them. She almost could smell the ozone."Scorching," she agreed."Can I give you a hand with that?" She eyed the dripping sponge he held in hislarge hands."I was hoping you'd ask,"he said, with a grin. His ready acceptance of assistance lit a fire in herstomach. For months she'd watched Lon from afar, never exchanging more than apolite hello, never imagining she'd have a chance at anything more thana greeting. Dana glided across the driveway, tugged by the seductive promise ofLon's gaze as if she were tethered to him, and he was reeling her in. Everystep heightened her arousal. Her breasts felt heavy, her nipples tightened, andbetween her cream-slickened thighs, her swollen cunt pulsed hungrily.Standing next to him, shecould smell the detergent in the bucket and a manly, soapy scent that emanatedfrom him, along with the even sexier aroma of clean sweat."Do you have anothersponge?" she asked as she scanned the dark street for activity. No traffic. Nolate-night dog walkers. Perfect. "You don't need one." Lontossed his into the pail and propped his sexy ass against the car's fender."No?" She ran a finger overhis chest and circled the nipple. It perked under her touch. A sharp current ofdesire zinged through her clit. "What do I need?""You need cock," Lon said andunzipped his pants.

Just One of The Girls...with Sascha Illyvich

One of The Girls...with Sascha Illyvich

I'm a male romance writer; I've come to terms with making nobones about that! But I had a realization about not only my writing career butabout the friends in my life. As the old cliché goes, I tend to have morefemale friends (to my significant other's chagrin!) than male ones. Most menirritate me honestly and even though I'm quite the man's man (I can camp, cook, talk tech, money) I don't do cars much. A very Loved One of mine is into fixingcars, like my brother. Now she and I are also into guns and swords and thingslike that, and if a bunch of us went out partying one night, she'd be "one ofthe guys."

Sounds fine, right? No big deal.

Now turn the tables. Let's say I've been invited to go out with the girls andwe have a good time. Everything's above board, right? Conversation starts and Ihave a LOT to say, as I'm sure you can imagine.

Of course when it comes to guy things, I'm the "resident guy" obviously. Butthe thing is, I don't hold your average man's opinion. I'm a little moresympathetic in some cases, a lot less in others. And when in larger groups Itend to bond more with women.

The realization hit me that I might be "one of the girls."

Not every woman in my life knows I cross dress. In fact there are a few who aredownright frightened at how good I look in women's lingerie! That aside though(My handler at
DragonCON has pictures!)the thought kind of unnerved me.

Mostly because I'm a man, I suppose. I never really thought about it. Mygirlfriends tell me I'm not as disgusting or cruel as typical men. I'll admitit; I'm actually a bit of a neat freak. I hate the fact that I have to let goof cleaning my studio once a week in favor of writing. It bugs me.

But I wear my facial hair neat. I shower daily. I don't burp or fart in publicfor the entire world to hear. I like to think that dressing nice is for me asmuch as it is for anyone I'm with. I tend to give advice to other women abouttheir male problems and my advice tends to usually make sense.

If that makes me "one of the girls" so be it, I suppose. Of course it alsomakes me privy to shit I don't always want to know. I don't think most womenneed me to explain that one…

I told my best friend of almost 18 years that I think I'm one of the girls andshe said "Dear, did you just figure this out?" I'm not kidding! I have the textmessage on my phone to prove it!

I'll admit, I am kind of obsessed over my hair. It's just above my hips but Iwant it longer and thicker and to not have split ends. That's not because I'mgirly, it's because I label myself a metalhead. And not one of those fru-fru1980's bullshit spandex pansies, either. (Fact is, my hair looks really goodand I LIKE it long!)  In fact, I justtrimmed it myself for the first time. Thankfully the red is still in (I'm a natural platinum blonde) so I cansee it better but I obsessed for two days, asking both my GF and my tobacconistif it looked okay!

I have a pension for female metal, my latest obsession is a band from Norwaycalled Sirenia. Before that, it was Tristania (actually the same band) but theyhave death/black metal elements in their symphonic/gothic styles that I dig. Istill intend to base a heroine off Angela Gascow from Arch Enemy. (Gotta lovethat death growl!) Before that, I was (and still am) obsessed with Cristinafrom Lacuna Coil. Her voice just makes me want to fuck…

See? That's a male response! I like to think of myself as very secure in who Iam. Even if I'm not sure that peach is my color…

So what say you, ladies? Any of your male friends involved in such a manner inyour lives that you could classify them as "one of the girls?" How do they feelabout it?

More From The Bad Boy of Romance

Welcome Back!!

Tonya:  Thank you for returning. I knooooow you wanted to learn more about our local Bad Boy! *wicked laugh* Well he's back to share more with us and give a little insight into his world. Yep, you guessed it...better grab that drink because you won't want to leave once you get started reading here!     Sascha, we love your books but want to know more about YOU. Let's be silly today. What would you wear if you were the heroine of a romance novel? *squirming in my chair and kicking my flogger under the table*

Sascha:  Thankfully something I can write where I don't have to bedrunk for it LOL! Seriously this is atough question for two reasons. One, I'mthe premiere source of romancestories for women and two, I'm a cross dressing male.     I tend to look at lingerie in one of two ways.  Number one, what do I like? Well, I like boyshort panties, ruffledskirts, garter belts, chemises (own a few of each! And heels.  Don't forget a sexy pair of stockings orthree!      Even in that sentence I still pictured myself there. It's hard to separate sometimes the fetishfrom the participant.  So we'll try here.     If I were a heroine bent on seducing my hero, that makes mego even further into thought to know if I'm bisexual or is he? And if he is, then does he like other men, oris he into the traditional male fantasy of two women paying attention to himalone?     I can't do that. I'm the heroine for Goddess sake! So, we're going to pretend he's male, bisexual, and into men so I can watch, but then both men are into me so I canhave fun!  Now, that being said, what amI wearing?     Probably something crotchless. I like the look and feel of comfortableboyshort panties, in black of course. But I need to feel sexy and having that open exposure lets me feel freeand wild as I am in the middle of a ménage with two hunky guys after all!  On top of that, I like a little mystery sothere would probably be something elegant and classy, a lengthy chemise orbabydoll would work.       Oh yes, and heels. Ican walk in four inch heels but remember, for the purpose of this blog, I needto entice and remember that I'm the heroine! A Very sexy heroine like the ones Alexandria Rayne writes about. *wink* So I can walk in six inchstilettos. Hey, I know it hurts but it'stotally worth it!  And I'd have thosepanties with garters so I could wear my stockings and get all my delights in aglorious mess.     So to recap, we're thinking black. It's a classic color, it draws the eyes to mygood points and is elegant. Remember,we're talking about open and free sexuality from the romance novelwriter's perspective!     One of the things I've noticed that rarely happens in romance novels is the exclusion oflingerie. Typically the heroine wearseither practical or "basic" seductive, meaning she'll have thestandard dress, thong or some thin scrap of material covering her deliciousbits and a matching bra. If she's apractical heroine, comfort is her style. Hell, even I did this when I wrote Sonja from Burning for Derrick, sheis first found in her dressing room (She's a lead singer for a death metalband) in a black matching bra and panty set but I put her in lace boyshort cutpanties. Derrick the puma and ex spydefinitely found the petite, curvy and mouthy singer sexy but that scene wasonly a step towards creating sexual tension.     In A Christmas Favour, my heroine Angela used lingerie toseduce Christian. But there wasn't ahuge to do over it nor did I describe it in depth.
Tonya: Wow! Ummm...all I can say is HOT! Readers, he's open to questions so fire away! Sascha, once again, thank you so much for visiting with us!

Sascha Illyvich - Bad Boy of Romance!

Please help me welcome....Sascha IllyvichThe Bad Boy of Romance!!

Readers, grab yourself a beverage, get comfy and let's get started. Sascha, welcome and I'm so excited that you stopped in this week to join us. I've had fun getting to know you a LOT better and glad I did. Your background is crazy with all you do! I'm not sure how you find time to write!

Sascha: Proclaimed by the Publishing industry as the Bad Boy ofRomance, I started writing twelve years ago.  My erotic romances have beenlisted under the Night Owl Romance and Road to Romance's Recommended read list,as well nominated for a CAPA by The Romance Studio.     I host the Unnamed Romance Show on Radio Dentata andcontinue to write for Sizzler Editions and Total E-bound.  Readers can findmy work, plus free reads at http://saschaillyvichauthor.com      I edit for Sizzler Editions Intoxication Erotic Romance lineand I'm also part of the WriteSex Panel, a blog group defining erotica forwriters in any genre! Find us at http://www.writesex.net

Tonya: You're going to share with us you take on the Male POV in romance writing. Authors, get that pen and paper ready for note taking!
Sascha:  One of the biggest issues female romance writers have is writingfrom the Male POV. As authors, we mayoften ask our spouses about behavior issues. We're often left stumbling when our spouses can't give us an exactanswer, as is usually the case in dealing with the male mind.
Female author: "Honey, why do you men behave in X fashion?"
Male Spouse:  "Hell ifI know." Or a grunt or shoulder shrugfor the response.
This doesn't help anyone at all and then when the femaleromance novelist goes to find information, she's confronted with a myriad ofblogs, studies, postings, and an overwhelming amount of news that would makeanyone scream!     Being a male romance author, I've seen some of the informationthe female gender shares about us and I must say much of it is inaccurate BUT Ihappen to be slightly biased. Most of myfriends are female; I am engrossed in this genre as a writer and hardly dealwith men outside the cigar/wine industry. In fact, I had a post on how I'm often oneof the girls because I don't behave like a typical male.     Back to the writing, when we're talking about male POV we'rereally talking about the same thing in both genders, especially when we breakdown the story's plot. Romance is basically very simple:
Two people come together because they listen to theirhearts.  But men are taught to ignorefeelings in order to forage for survival. Women often are taught to go with their instincts, which can beemotionally based. If something feelswrong, it probably is.      The disconnect in romance creates conflict. IE, I can't be with her, I'll fall in loveand she might hurt me. Or vice versa withthe women.  But what we need to realizeis that our males, oftentimes played as jaded heroes have inner issues that wemust address and utilize to forward plot. We're taking that inner angst from men that usually comes out as vitrioland realizing that it's truly passion. There are underlying reasons for their behavior that usually stem fromthe past and create our way of being. When we identify the reasons for them, we can let our heroines see alittle more into the man and why he's who he is.  It's up to her then to help him grow, notchange.
Routinely, I teach courses on Male POV for Romance authorswith course information found here.Feel free to pop on over to see the syllabus and find out when and where I'mscheduled to teach!
