BLURB: Southern belle Campbell Layne isthe rising star of the Manhattan Ballet Theatre, providing she lands theupcoming principal role. The stage heats up, however, when Rod Carrington stepsin and teaches her more than she ever expected.Campbellis determined to stay focused on the audition that will push her into stardom, but the dazzling attorney she meets at a gala proves to be a major distractionespecially when he ends up being her professor in a college class she's takingin her spare time. Campbell humiliates herself on their first date, but thatdoesn't stop Rod from whisking her off to Italy and turning her into quite thevixen. Too bad he also had to use his powerful influence to secure the lead forher. Now she'll never know if her talent was real or "bought" by the man shethought was the love of her life.
Here's an ADULT EXCERPTto tempt you further:
[image error]"Bel-la." Rod gathered her tighter and simply hugged her, burying his face in her hair. Fora second, the world stopped and her heart melted as he pressed his chest intohers. His woodsy, clean scent blended with the lemony smell of his starchedshirt. She heard him inhale deeply, and the loneliness over the past few weeksfaded away. Spreading her fingers wide, she slid them into the softness of hishair before gliding down to knead the muscles of his upper back. "You'retense.""I'msexually frustrated." His mouth found her earlobe. The metal on her earringclanked against his teeth. She let out a low chuckle."Me,too.""Yousmell like lavender and vanilla and taste cinnamony and sweet.""Theneat me up.""Iintend to." His palm slipped to her breast, giving it a firm squeeze beforerubbing her nipple through the coat.Thesatin lining stimulated her nipples further. "Hmm," she moaned as her head fellback, and she arched into his hand. Rod granted her silent request, tugging atthe knot at her waist and pushing the coat off her shoulders. His eyebrows shotup at seeing her unclothed. A large grin stretched across his beautiful mouth, his lips full and moist from kissing her."Cometo my office and sit on my lap anytime." He bent to lick a nipple. Shedug her nails into his back. "Yes, darlin'.""Patience,princess." His tongue twirled around her areola as he squeezed her otherbreast. Switching his lips to it, he sucked the entire thing into this mouth. Hiscock rubbed against her inner thigh, teasing her pussy with its nearness.Shifting her weight, she rotated her hips so his dick touched her clit. She wasdying to have his long, hot, velvety dick deep inside her, stretching her wide. Her juices dripped in anticipation. "More," she said, hoping to hurry him up.He groaned his approval and slid his fingers to her pussy, parting the folds, and rolling her clit back and forth with the tip of his finger. Sensations exploded, shattering her composure into a million pieces then melting them into a warm, liquid pool of satisfaction that heated her skin. Every nerve ending, everycell seemed attuned to his touch. Shemoaned so loudly he raised a finger to her lips in a shushing gesture. Herresponse was to take it into her mouth and suck. God, she'd never felt suchabandonment, such freedom at acting like a—what was the word? Siren. Yes,Campbell had discovered a side of herself she'd never known existed. Rod hadcoaxed a bit out in Italy, but now she felt all her inhibitions slip away. Shewanted to show him that she was as wild and sexy as his other women. Herfingers worked in desperate, quick movements to loosen his tie and undo hisbuttons. She pulled the shirt from his pants, spread the material, and dippedher head to taste his nipples. When she began to unbuckle his belt, he stilledher. "Tellme you're kidding.""It'smy turn, you seductive minx." He reached behind her and sent papers flying tothe floor. Circling his hands around her hips, he lifted her onto the desk. Raising her foot to his chest, she lightlyspeared him in the heart with her stiletto. He grabbed her ankle and depositedher foot on the arm of his massive leather chair. He did the same with herother leg then, running his hands from her calves to her knees, he pushed herlegs wide. And feasted. "Rod!"she gasped when his tongue made one long lick up her slit."Trustme, baby. You'll love it." He spread her folds with his fingers as his tongue streakedover her nub. "Hmm. You taste good. Always wondered what a girl raised onSouthern sunshine would taste like." He kissed her inner thigh and went back tolicking her clit. "Yes!Oh God, yes!" Hemade a hushing sound. "Ican't help it," she whimpered. Asking her to be quiet was like telling her togo catch some minnows by hand.Histongue lapped and brushed her sensitive spot, sending her into a spiralingneed. She grabbed a handful of his hair, pressing his face harder into herpussy. He slipped his tongue into her hole. Her head spun, but he gave her nomercy as he pulled out to suck a pussy lip.Hetugged, gently scraping his teeth over it then making a smacking sound as hereleased it. "So long," he mumbled before pulling the other into his mouth andrepeating the exquisite procedure. Rodslipped his thumb into her hole, rotating his wrist as he pumped her. Histongue returned to her clit, jiggling it back and forth. Her legs quivered andthreatened to slip off the chair. She draped them over his shoulders. He stucka hand under her ass and lifted her hips off the desk. Campbell crossed herankles, trapping him between her legs and gyrating her hips as fulfillmentclosed in."Please,darlin'. Make me c–come," she begged between pants.Hesucked like nobody's business and swallowed her passion as she came fast. Rodreached to cover her mouth with his hand as she screamed and shudderedviolently. He continued to lap up her pussy juices. Holyfuck. Campbell thought she'd died and gone to heaven. Asher contractions slowed, he stood, causing her legs to straighten against thelength of his body. He got his pants off enough for his cock to spring free.Positioning the head at her entrance, he plunged deep.Shewatched him bite his lip. "Not so easy to keep quiet, is it?"
******Tonya: Wow - that's a hot excerpt!

Upcoming Western....but no release date yet!

Upcoming Western
Here you go! *happy sigh* I could just stare at them all day! I've not decided on a cover yet but they will be on it, for sure! I have to have an image of my characters before I start writing. I know, kinda crazy, but that's how my muse works...then it takes off on me and the characters do the rest! I'm lucky in that respect. I can't hold them back and they're already working on things, I just haven't had time to get them down in writing yet. A few priorities need to be completed first, then I can just write...but soon, I will keep you updated on the progress!

Stop by this week's interview!

Join me at this week's interview!
I will be guest blogging and chatting over at Rae McCartney's blog so I'm hoping all of you will click to join us there! I'll be chatting about book four in the series, Their Submissive Switch. This book takes our favorite couple back to Palm Springs where they find out what's really up in those hills that surround the sizzling Palm Springs valley. The hills turn out to be just as hot; come see for yourself!
Ever wonder what the Masters can come up with that could take place outside? Vendor booths? Well I wouldn't exactly call them vendor booths but....nope, can't continue on this point, sorry! *wicked laugh* You'll have to read to find out about those! I do guarantee that you won't be disappointed!
Could you do me a tiny favor? If you've read any of my books, could you leave a review up at Amazon or B & N or even Smashwords? Pretty please? I can beg nicely! (psst...not sure who left the reviews at B & N but I could use some help to counteract those! *giving you sad eyes*)
Don't forget to hop over to this week's interview! You may even learn a few new things about me, although I don't think there's much more to learn, is there? What else would you like to know?
I'm also a part of Naughty Reader's Boudoir and we have a wonderful sexy guest over there! Grab your bikini, or NOT, and join us in the bubble bath!

Contests - love them or hate them?

Authors love to do contests so readers can win! As a reader, do you enjoy contests or steer away from contests? Author interviews usually include a contest, blog hops have contests, author sites have contests. Personally, I don't like a contest that makes me jump from one site to another, following and liking, then returning to the main site to comment and prove I did something. I don't mind maybe following a blog or subscribing to an email newsletter plus leave a comment. Those are pretty simple things to do.
More complicated contests are usually held on sites that want you to view all the rooms they've added to the site such as when a scavenger hunt is put on. Don't get me wrong, I love scavenger hunts, but I do have to be in the right mood and have lots of time in order to enjoy participating.
I've started a new newsletter and am hoping most of my blog followers will subscribe because I'm not going to be doing my Google newsletter anymore. If you were receiving my Google letter, please subscribe to the NEW one over on the sidebar. Part of the sign up will ask you what kind of gift card you'd like IF you're chosen as a monthly winner. That will make it easier for me to send the gift card to you rather than hoping you answer my email back to let me know your choice.
Along the same note, if you sign up for the newsletter and are then chosen as a winner and I auto send that gift card to you, will you find it or will it go to your junk mail? I hope it won't. One way to make sure you received your gift card is to check the newsletters when they arrive as I will always include the list of the two monthly winners - one blog follower and one newsletter subscriber.
In addition to my two monthly giveaways, I usually include a giveaway in my interviews that I do on other author sites. So....if you love contests, you'll want to follow my interview schedule so you can stop in and leave a comment to be included in that drawing. My interview schedule is on my web site calendar and also below my blog schedule of my guests - I list where you can find me out there at other author sites doing a guest blog spot. I hope you follow along and get into the drawings.
Back to our main question...do you enjoy contests? What do you like and dislike about them? Let's chat here!
Don't forget to subscribe to the NEW newsletter!

Rae McCartney - Erotic Romance Author

Rae McCartney
Erotic Romance Author
I have the privilege this week to have a debut author with us and I know you're going to enjoy her book - the first in a series. We bet online and I'm so glad we did. Grab your favorite beverage from the bar and get comfy. I hope you enjoy our interview!
Tonya: Rae, thank you for being with us this week. I have to say, that cover gets a reader right where it counts but we can never go wrong with Jimmy Thomas! Let's get started. Readers love to know moreabout their authors. Tell us a bit about yourself.

Rae: Writing has always been apart of my life in one way or another. I love writing erotic romance, writingabout things that others only think about! I have modeled professionally in thepast and still do it on occasion for charity events, etc. I'm also an avidphotographer. . .I have to watch myself because I have been known to get bit bythe traveling bug. Lovers Undercover: Impassioned may be myfirst published works, but I have an entire drawer full of manuscripts that I'm going through. ..I hate frigid cold and extreme heat (although I'll take heat over cold). Ilove to sail, although I don't have my own sailboat. . .love to hike and camp(does not have to be an RV). And I love meeting people - people watching issort of a pass time of mine.
Tonya: Do you have a day job?
Rae: I don't call it a day job, but I am selfemployed. I do some public relations work, photography on request. I have some"irons in the fire" but they are still in the planning stages. . .
Tonya: Some of us have things wedo to get into the writing frame of mind like music, or drinks. Do you haveanything special you do to get into the writing mood?
Rae: I don't have any set routine except being inthe writing mood. If I'm not nine times out of ten, I'll end up trashingeverything I wrote when I go back and re-read it later. I also write withoutmusic, TV or anything. I like it quiet so I can think. I do keep a bottle ofwater or hot tea nearby (sometimes if it's evening a glass of wine perhaps).
Tonya: Where do you keep storyideas? Where do they come from?
Rae: I try and write down an idea when it comes tome so I can expand on it later. A lot of what I write comes out of no where, some of it from personal experience. I think all writers throw some personalexperiences into their writing.
Tonya: If you're self-published,can you tell us a bit about that and how it's going for you?
Rae: Self-publishing is almost a job in itself.Don't let anyone fool you that all you do is write a book, self publish andthat's it. As a self-published author you alone are responsible for gettingyour book known to readers. You do all your own public relations for your book, which is easy for me. With me, it's going slow, but Lovers Undercover:Impassioned only came out on February 14th, so it hasn't even been a month yet. Also as it is my first novel, it will take getting another one out before tooterribly long to give readers something more of mine to read.
Tonya: Are you a daytime writer, night time writer, and do you have to be alone to write?
Rae: Both! If I don't have other "jobs" going on Iwill sit down and write during the day. I write at night also. I've also beenknown to wake up in the middle of the night and write! It's more of being inthat frame of mind to write than the time of day (or night). Yes, I have towrite alone!
Tonya: What advice would you giveto new authors?
Rae: Write! Keep writing and getting your work outthere!
Tonya: Do you write better whenyou first have an idea of what your characters look like or do you write, thenadd character looks?
Rae: Hmmm, I do both. . .I've started out with aparticular look for a character and gotten so far along in my writing processand decide that that isn't the look for the character and revamp them.
Tonya: What attracts you mostabout men?
Rae: Intelligence first. Then looks. . .they alsomust be confident with themselves, if that makes any sense. Strong might be agood word. They must be comfortable with a strong woman.
Tonya: We're dying to hear aboutyour latest book. What can you tell us without spoiling the storyline?

Tonya: Where can our readers findyou and your books?
Rae: Amazon, Barnes & Noble and Smashwords
Tonya: Is there anything else youwant to tell our readers?
Rae: Only that my next book is an eroticparanormal romance (aren't they all? Erotic) which I've tentativelyentitled: The Secrets Revealed. I'd also like to thank everyone for stopping by to read, whether they left a comment or not. Please visit my websites, I love company!
Tonya: Let's do a few questionsjust for fun. What is your favorite night time snack?
Rae: I really, really try not to eat after dinner, but IF I do it is usually popcorn.
Tonya: Oh, one of my favorites snacks! Do you like toppings onyour ice cream?
Rae: When I do eat ice cream, chocolate or fudgesyrup is my big weakness!
Tonya: What's your favorite meal -Italian, Mexican, Thai, etc?
Rae: Give me a big slab of prime rib, medium rareand I'm in heaven!!
CONTEST: Follow my blog (link is listed below) and leave a comment. One lucky commenter will receive a $20.00 gift card oftheir choice to Amazon or B&N but please include your address so I can easily contact the winner!

Natasha Moore - Erotic Romance

It's a RELEASE Party!!

Natasha Moore Erotic Romance

NatashaMoore fell in love with the written word as soon as she could read. As she grew up, she discovered romance andnow enjoys the chance to add some extra sizzle to her stories. She writes sexycontemporary and erotic romance for Samhain, Ellora's Cave and Red Sage. Shelives in New York State with her real lifehero who is happy to tell everyone that he's her inspiration. They travel in their RV whenever possible. The great thing about writing is she can take it anywhere.
Tonya: Natasha, there you are! What a crowd! Let's grab a table over here and chat with a few readers. They love to know more about theirauthors so tell us a bit about yourself.

Natasha: Thank you all for stopping in to be a part of my release party. Isn't this grand! I think I started to write soon after Ilearned to read. I passed around chapters of my first novel (my own kind offanfic, long before that term was ever coined) written on notebook paper to myclassmates in sixth grade. Life often got in the way of my writing, but I'm soglad that I'm finally able to share my stories with readers who love sexy andemotional romances.
Tonya: Do you have a day job?
Natasha: Yes, I work a full time office day job. Beingat a computer all day sometimes makes it hard to sit down at night to write, but as long as my eyes aren't too tired, I'll put in at least a couple hours atnight on my current project.
Tonya: *refilling all the champagne glasses* Some of us have things we do to get into thewriting frame of mind like music, or drinks. Do you have anything special youdo to get into the writing mood?

Natasha: Putting on my headphones is like a cue to mymuse to get to work. I listen to familiar music downloaded to my iPod, so it'sbackground noise and not a distraction. And I'm not above having a glass of wine toloosen up before writing a hot love scene.
Tonya: That does help a little, doesn't it? Do you have a card file where you keep storyideas? Where do they come from?
Natasha: I have a file on my computer titled "Ideas"-bits and pieces of characters or titles or plot ideas that haven't been writtenyet. Where do the ideas come from? Anywhere. Everywhere. Sorry, can't nail itdown anymore than that. It's kind of magical. I worry that sometime the ideaswill just dry up, but so far that's never been a problem.
Tonya: Are you a daytime writer, night time writer, and do you have to be alone to write?
Natasha: In a perfect world, I'd be a daytime writerin a quiet house all by myself. In my world, I write evenings and weekends withthe TV playing in the other room and husband and kids coming and going. Anotherreason for those headphones. LOL
Tonya: that's understandable! Do you write better when you first have anidea of what your characters look like or do you write, then add characterlooks?
Natasha: I don't usually know what my characters looklike until I start writing. I discover most things about my characters after Istart writing.
Tonya: We're dying to hear about your latest book. What can you tell us without spoiling the storyline? Natasha: Birthday Girl is the 3rd in thePaolo's Playhouse series from Samhain. I love this story! Who wouldn't love ahusband who gives his wife what she thinks she wants for her birthday? Here'sthe blurb for Birthday Girl:

Tonya: Wow! I want that for MY birthday! Whew! Okay, jotting this one down along with all the other books in the series. I can't wait to read these. Where can our readers find you and yourbooks?

Tonya: Let's do a few questions just for fun. What is your favorite night time snack?
Natasha: Ice cream! It's why I don't keep any in thehouse. The one thing I can't resist! I live in a small lakeside village andthere are three ice cream shops within walking distance. I do indulge from timeto time, but only if I walk. I like to walk J
Tonya: Do you like toppings on your ice cream?
Natasha: Of course. Hot fudge and whipped cream, please.
Tonya: What's your favorite meal - Italian, Mexican,Thai, etc?
Natasha: I could eat pizza any day of the week, justvary the toppings from day to day and I'd be happy.
Tonya: Is there anything else you want to tell ourreaders?
Natasha: I love writing whatever story ideas come tome. So far I have 19 novels, novellas and short stories contracted or released.I write mostly contemporaries, but love the occasional fantasy, futuristic orparanormal. I hope readers will be willing to follow me wherever I go. I canalways promise a hot, emotional read, not matter what the setting is. I'd also love to give away a gift card to one lucky commenter but please - leave your email addy so we can contact the winner!
CONTEST – a $10 Samhain gift certificate toone lucky commenter who also leaves their email in the comment.
Birthday Girl Excerpt:
Why did seeing Marc again make her hot and tense? Wasthat what happened when you turned thirty? You started to lust after men otherthan the one you loved? Of course, it could have a lot to do with the fact thatshe'd had a massive crush on Marc before he introduced her to Tyler. Ty didn't have a clue. God, she hopedMarc didn't either.
