Movies, Books, electronics

Happily, my new netbook is set up thanks to Jim Freund (I tried it and it works. Yay!) and my printer four in one has been set up by Matt Kressel. And it works. Another yay--thanks guys.

Hoping a friend will take the HP printer off my hands soon.

Finished The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, which I loved. I think I'm glad I saw the movie first because the actress who plays Lisbeth is so perfect. Having seen the movie I don't feel I really needed to read the book, although there is far more about...

HP inkjet 6210 all -in -one for free

Some of you might know of my trials and tribulations with my HP printer. We have had a very uneasy relationship since I bought it a few years ago. The fax has never let me down and I never could figure out the scanner (although I admit that's my fault not the machine's). However the printer/copier sometimes jams with no paper and I've occasionally wanted to drop kick it out my window. Every time it's given me trouble it has eventually straightened itself out and since I went out and bought a ...

a morning surprise

Two days in a row I've broken open two eggs for omelets and discovered double yolks in all of them. That's four eggs out of a dozen (so far)...they're from the same batch I bought at the Union Square Greenmarket last week. I don't recall the dealer. The eggs are slightly more elongated than those I usually buy (not that I ever study them)...

From what I've googled, it's not normal. Here's what it says on Poultryhelp.com
