If You Are Depressed Do Not Watch This, Review
If you are depressed kindly do not watch this movie. It will make things murkier and uglier.
The story of our hero Viggo where we are introduced to him and his pregnant wife and their young son. A story of survival under horrific circumstances. The world has come to an end and there is not law but survival of the fittest. With a child to protect the two move around trying for safety.
Cannibalism, murder, horrors are all graphic in this movie. But through it all, the man teaches his son that...

Idolatry Comes In Many Forms
So the king consulted and made two golden calves and he said to them, "It is too much for you to go to Jerusalem; behold your gods, O Israel, that brought up from the land of Egypt." 1Kings12:28
Idolatry of the heart infects the mind and soul. What is the thing that you hold highest above Jesus? What is the project, the idea or the person that you hold above our Lord?
Every one of us reaches the point in their life where this subject has to be addressed with an open heart if ever we are to be f...

Eye Tastes Before Palate
http://www.facebook.com/media/set/fbx/?set=a.374277228201.156782.557213201
Our eyes eat before our palates have a chance. If your presentation is not attractive, the food will not be given a chance for enjoyment.
Two years ago I was hired by a friend to cater his birthday. No matter what I spent, it would never have been as expensive as it would have been for him to take his friends out. This was the result.
With the help of some decorative props and an eyes for color, this is what we achieved t...

A Look At Our Heart Towards the Homeless
It took me no time to read this book. I could not put it down. From the first page I was captivated and could not stop.
Not only was I caught in the simplicity and the joy of the story but I cried sharing some parts of it with my family. I celebrated with the heroine her heart changes, her pains and her love of Jesus.
I bought two books immediately because I know people I would gift this delightful gem to, sharing the life lessons and joys in it.
Toni Nelson imparted with alacrity...

Emphasize With Beautiful Words
When searching for descriptions I found it a horror and a crutch exhausting my thesaurus without benefit of improving the language nor adding meaning to my story. If the story matters, which it does, then babble becomes offensive and exhaustive.
Try out these combinations and see if they do not help some of the thesaurus mania afflicting many. Happy writing from A-Z!
abrupt, rough, and immoderate
barbarous, shapeless, and irregular
common, dull, and threadbare
danger, difficulty, and hardship

Making the Best of a Bad Situation, Movie Review
One of the best actresses around who gets little to no recognition in the ranks is my favorite Diane Lane. Not only is the woman beautiful but she is talented and spectacular. She takes on wonderful heart wrenching characters from different walks of life presenting women in a true light instead of on a pedestal.
Lane is an editor, reviewer in this delightful movie who is used abominably by her husband preferring a younger version. In the process he humiliates her by even...

Male Bimbo Lacking Brains Too
Dear Buba Rumcake,
I'm in love with a male bimbo. He's so sweet and good looking… But he's not the most intellectual person. He also seems very one dimensional. Is that bad? What is wrong with me?
Confused in Lust
Dear Confused,Nothing wrong with you that a few times in the sack will not fix. If you have such a hard on for this guy, sleep with him and get it over with. After all that is what the men did with women for years. They slept with all the bimbos without any regard to brains. So you...
