Just an update :)
I hope everyone is enjoying the summer and staying safe :) I just wanted to drop by and give a quick update. Work on Checkmate and a stand alone paranormal are doing well and if things keep going the way that they are then I should have some good news soon :)

Scavenger Hunt, 4/20/2012
How would you like to win a $20 gift card to one of your favorite online book stores? B&N, Amazon or iBooks?
Well, today I am having a little scavenger hunt at my Facebook page. Starting at 11am est time I will be releasing 2 clues. You take those clues and find the answers via the internet. Save your clues, because every hour I will release two more clues until 4pm est time. Once you have all 12 clues be the first to email me your answers. First one that wins gets the gift card.
I've set this up so that if you can't get to a personal computer until 3 pm est time, you still have a chance to play.
Good luck :)

Hmmmm
Thought I'd pop by and say hello :)
Finished the latest Pyte book so it's currently being ripped apart by my very talented editors, Lieve and Maura :)
As soon as it's 100% out of my hands I'll be getting back to the next NFH book ;)

Let's see......
The newest Pyte book is almost done :)
It is not the book that belongs to the excerpt in the back of Without Regret, but the next book in the continuing story.
The next Neighbor From Hell book is halfway done and is currently being checked over to make sure that it’s worthy of the NFH title. Once i get feedback I will set back to work on it :)
After reading most of the reviews for my books I thought I should say a few things:
A Humble Heart is in no way meant to be funny so if you’re looking for a fun relaxing book, this isn’t it. This is meant to be a little bit dramatic, a little thrilling and basically a fairy tale for adults, especially women like Dana who may not have chosen well in life and deserve a second chance with the man of her dreams. I wrote this story when I was going through a pretty bad time. I guess you could say it was an unrealistic dream, but something that kept me going. It might not be the “favorite” book out there, but it has a special spot in my heart because of what it did for me. For those of you who are wondering if Edward will find out that he was the influence for Christian……..yes.
The Pyte, Sentinel and Immortal series are not the NFH series. What I mean is that they are not written to be light, funny reads. They have funny parts, but nothing like the NFH series so if you’re looking for an amusing light read these probably aren’t for you. The EMS and the Hollywood Heart Novels starting with A Reclusive Heart and on are probably a better fit for you.
I’ve read a lot of your comments, some flattering and some that had me cringing. I appreciate both and have actually taken a lot of your comments to heart and applied the advice to my new books. That being said, I will say that I can’t unfortunately tailor each book to every single person out there. I just can’t. I’m sorry, but there is no perfect book out there that will please every single person. There’s nothing I can do about that. I’ll continue to do my best to publish enjoyable stories and hope that they manage to make someone smile.
Thanks for listening :)

Warning
After reading a few reviews of my books I felt that I owed it to those who haven't read any of them to give a fair warning:
There is sex involved in the books. It's rather descriptive.
There is also a decent amount of foul language.
If you find this type of content unpleasant then I would probably suggest that you skip reading my books. I don't anyone to waste their time or money on books that they will not enjoy. Everyone has different tastes and comfort levels, which is more than fine and that is why I am giving this warning. I'd rather have you skip my book then offend you.
No hard feelings :)

Chris....what the heck happened....
I realize that a lot of people were looking forward to Chris' book and were surprised by how Chris turned out in the beginning of the book. That's understandable and I can appreciate that some of you were hoping for the same laid back kid that Chris was, but he couldn't stay like that. Too much had happened for him to stay that way. He grew into a man who took his responsibilities and family's safety seriously, maybe a little too seriously. That is until he found his mate.
Thanks to Izzy he's slowly coming back around. Without Regret was not the end for Chris. I promise you that. This is a continuing story line that is pulling together the Pyte series as well as the Sentinel series. Chris is in the 2nd Pyte book and is showing signs of the Chris that he once was.

Huh, what do ya know.....
So, I finally figured out how to add an excerpt to each book here at Goodreads.com without having to post a review of my own book and feeling foolish for having to rate it. I'm not sure if it's a new system or now, but there is this thing that I can do now that will allow me to post an excerpt or even the first few chapters of a book if I want :)
Only problem is I can't figure out how to remove my reviews of my books, which weren't reviews, but excerpts. Anyone know how to delete your own review?
