Too tempting

1/3 of the way through Chris' book and I already know there is absolutely no way that I can skip the urge to write a book for Jill and one for Joshua. The ideas that are running through my head r too tempting. Fighting the urge to start their books now, but I need to finish Chris' story since they play off of his story.

I really like the ideas that I have playing in the back of my mind for them and I'm hoping it all works out.

Chris' story

Back on track with Chris' story. Since it's the first book in the Sentinel series I've been tweaking the first eight chapters for a while now trying to make sure everything comes across smoothly. Now I'm moving on with the story.

Had to share Lemonade

I have this recipe for lemonade I'd thought I'd share since we're heading into summer.

It's a really good, not-too-sweet smooth lemonade.

Ingredients:

12 Cups of water
2 3/4 Cups of Sugar
2 1/4 Cups lemon juice

Needed:
1 Gallon size pitcher
1 liquid measuring cup
1 dry measuring cup
1 sauce pan

Directions:

In Sauce pan:

Measure 1 cup of water and pour into sauce pan. Place pan on low-medium heat.

Measure and pour sugar into pan.

Gently mix, heat until boiling and the mixture becomes syrupy.

Put aside and allow to cool for a few miuntes.

In large picture:

Pour the lemon juice into the large container.

Pour the remaining 11 cups of water into the container.

Pour the cooled syrup into the container and mix.

Place into the fridge and let chill. Best results chill for six hours.

New to me authors

Over the past week I've come across two authors almost by accident, Julie Garwood and Lori Foster. I liked them so much that I've found myself in one of those rare situations where I've decided to focus on their works before I read anything else. It's a nice little treat and will probably keep me busy for the next month. Hopefully : )

Caught off guard

For those who don't know I have a whole system where I write several books at once, to keep things fresh. When I feel my thoughts about the book I'm writing become stale or forced I move onto another book and come back when the mood hits. From the looks of it I'm going to have six books come out around the same time, 2 Neighbor From Hell, 3 Pytes and one Sentinel. Kind of curious now how they all play out. It's surprising to write books with similar themes that are completely different. Whatever happens, happens. I'm really enjoying the process right now and watching each character come to life.

Oldies but goodies

Recently I've found myself in a reading slump. I've been looking for new books, but haven't really found anything that's caught my eye yet. Over the past week I've been going through my books and have rediscovered my love for many of the books that I'm sorry to say I'd forgotten. I've gone through a few books and I'm surprised that to find myself actually enjoying them more the second time around.

A little confused about the weather

It's mid May, why is it still so cold? This should be about the time when I slather sun block on the kids and take them exploring not turning up the thermostat.

Looking for a few good books...

After a rather frightening discovery this morning I've discovered that I am in need of some serious book recommendations. Right now I'm in the mood for paranormal romance so I'm going searching for some good recommendations.

Question/Answer A Humble Heart

I recently was asked a question about A Humble Heart, the Hollywood Hearts novel. I was asked if the book was as funny as Playing for Keeps and Tall, Dark & Lonely and I have to say it's really not. Not to say there aren't a few chuckles throughout the book, but it's more serious than anything. The other books in that series will not be as serious as the first book. I felt I should share that answer so that no one purchases that book with false expectations. Thank you : )

G.A. Aiken

Thankfully G.A. Aiken has written some pretty entertaining books to keep me occupied while I'm fighting this head cold. Unfortunately it's making the wait for Eibhear and Izzy's story more unbearable. I love these characters and can't wait to see what she has planned for them, but alas wait I must. I'm hoping that she keeps spinning their story into her dragon books until their book comes out.
