And these dolls are beautiful and amazing and so detailed and everybody basically needs them. How is being considered an ally by the Black freaking Canary, especially after having gotten off to a really hostile start, not considered exquisitely bamftastic? >3 And Savant’s dialogue here is just rife with character development, to boot. He’s always cloaked himself in bravado and arrogance to hide his internalized inadequacies, but now that working with the Birds is stripping that cockiness away, it’s also revealing a man who’s well-aware of his abilities but still fighting with deeply-ingrained feelings of inadequacy that almost comes off as - dare I say it - civil! There’s your burger-flippin’ character growth, right there.
