I Just Have One Question

It seems unworkable.

Transgender Day of Remembrance

(Following from GLAAD)

Transgender Day of Remembrance #TDOR - November 20

Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) is an annual observance on November 20 that honors the memory of those whose lives were lost in acts of anti-transgender violence. You can read more about the Transgender Day of remembrance below, and find out how you can participate.

Additionally, during the week of November 12-20 individuals and organizations around the county will participate Transgender Awareness Week to help raise the visibility of transgender and gender non-conforming people and address the issues these communities face.

What is the Transgender Day of Remembrance?

The Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) was started by transgender advocate Gwendolyn Ann Smith as a vigil to honor the memory of Rita Hester, a transgender woman who was killed in 1998. The vigil commemorated all the transgender people lost to violence that year and began an important memorial that has become the annual Transgender Day of Remembrance.

How can I participate in the Transgender Day of Remembrance?

Participate in the Transgender Day of Remembrance by attending or organizing a vigil on November 20 to honor all those whose lives were lost to anti-transgender violence that year.  Vigils are typically hosted by local transgender advocates or LGBT organizations, and held at community centers, parks, places of worship and other venues. The vigil often involves reading a list of the names of those who died that year. Learn more…

Continuing my series of people I’d like to see Helena Bertinelli work with. The second person on that list: Kate Kane.

It’s easy to say that I left as Kate and came back as Batwoman. The truth, though, is that I left as your lost little girl and came back knowing exactly who I am. I came back as Kate Kane.

I feel like they wouldnt be able to tolerate each other.

And then youd have Renee trying to break up their bickering every three seconds.

Gorgeous!

What did you think of the BoP series? I always wondered what your thoughts were and if you liked it or didn't like it.

Do you mean the TV series? I didn’t watch it. I didn’t want to be influenced, so I’ve only seen the pilot.

Whats your opinion on the Dinah Drake Lance being the Black Canary of the New 52 and not Dinah Laurel Lance as had been since the Silver Age?

I’m way behind on Bop. Duane’s doing a great job but the characters are so stuck in my head it’s hard to read these new versions.

The Black Canary I love is a different character and possibly always will be, which is why I totally get people who can’t accept Barbara as Batgirl, for example. I’m the same way sometimes.
