Today is nineteen years since Jack Kirby passed away and, following the suggestion of comics writer Gail Simone, I decided to pay homage to The King doing some art in his honor.

The amazing Gail Simone, current writer on DC’s Batgirl, will be at Acme Comics in North Carolina Saturday, February 9th from 11AM to 3PM. Acme Comics is located at 2150 Lawndale Drive, Greensboro, North Carolina 27408 so be sure to stop on by if you’re in the area. I surely would if lived closer.

Hi Gail, I have 2 questions for you. 1) Will you by chance be at the Big Wow Con in San Jose this May? And 2) How do you feel about the Valentine issues pair Batgirl and Nightwing with other people?
Sadly, I will not be at that con, I am not yet familiar with it. Sorry! I may be at two cons in California this year if I can fit them in, news soon.
About the Valentine’s story, I’m glad they wanted to include Barbara, and they DID ask me to write the story, but it was right before the weirdness where I got fired and then rehired so I couldn’t do it. I haven’t yet seen it, know very little about it. Sorry!

Allot of people talk who would win in a deathmatch, Batman vs Iron man. They have allot of things in common but the one thing Bruce has that Tony doesnt are countless sidekicks. So i say depending on the writer. Batgirl wins :)
This was done for a grades chool made of mine , who opens a pizza restaurant named La Tour in Honolulu Hawaii. Its one of my the few times i drawn ironman and one of the few times i drew ironman on a pizzabox. They put it in the display case which was nice and they gave me a free kaliua pork pizza to go with it .:)

If you mean the cosplayer I’m afraid I don’t know that…but the character was the second Hawk, who first appeared in Teen Titans. Sadly she didn’t appear much before she was killed off in Blackest Night :(
I meant the character. And nooooo. Why do they keep on killing off cool female characters..
In her case it was so the original Hawk could come back and take her place…’cause you know, there’s SUCH a serious lack of white cisgender straight males in comics, clearly it was much more important to bring one of them back instead of developing a kick ass female character
