Ok, so, I'm a guy but like 90% of my favorite comic book characters are female. Not in a sexual way or anything, I just genuinely think they're more interesting and kickass. I get teased about it and was just wondering.. do you think it's odd as well? :/

Ewwwwwwww!

YES!

SO ODD!

Edited to add: Someone below thinks I was being mean in my response, I guess.

I have to say, my thinking is, treat goofy gender criticism with the scorn it deserves. I’m not mocking the poster, I’m mocking anyone who GENUINELY thinks it’s odd that he likes female characters. It’s too goofy to take seriously, and I would hope that that message comes through pretty clearly.

To the poster, I hope this was already clear, but no, it’s not odd, it’s just that the people teasing you are jerks.

If you could write a comic with one character each from DC and from Marvel in a team-up, who would you love to see/write?

Right now, it’d be Batgirl/Spiderman for sure, but I think about this all the time.

Thor/Wonder Woman, Cap/Batman, Secret Six/Thunderbolts, all that stuff sounds fun.

BANE CARES ABOUT YOUR DIET!

I will forever claim that Bane’s relationship with Scandal in Secret Six was the basis for Bane’s relationship with Talia in TDKR. He just thought she needed a father figure.

Me, too. He just HAPPENS to become father figure/protector to the daughter of an immortal warlord?

Does not sound coincidental to me.

Did you, or someone else at DC, declare June Batgirl Month? I noticed that she's going to be in four books: Batgirl, Birds of Prey, Batman & Robin, and Talon.

No, she’s just gotten really popular. Game, toy, and clothing companies are starting to notice, too.

Nifty!

Tomorrow, Tomorrow!

Wednesday is, I believe, the day comic shops turn in their orders for comics for July. Please let them know you would like a copy of Red Sonja if you haven’t already.

Who doesn’t want Red Sonja?

That’s my question to YOU!

Okay, some people. BUT MOST PEOPLE WANT RED SONJA!

:)

So, uh…that thing about Catman and Deadshot I just posted may be the most painful thing I’ve ever written.

Um. And I have a new microphone to test.

So…have a recording of me reciting The King Shark Poem to make up for it?

EVERYONE LISTEN TO THIS RIGHT FUCKING NOW.

Seriously. This.

THIS.

Is why the internet is a thing!
