I Feel Weird Even Saying This, But...
…no, it’s not odd if you are not female and you still like or prefer female-identifying characters. It’s not odd, it’s awesome.
Like what you like, love what you love, be who you want to be. There are always going to be people who are hung up on goofy nonsense and outdated gender politics. It’s their problem, not yours.
If you love Lara Croft more than Solid Snake, and you love Batwoman more than Batman, and you love Buffy more than Blade, good for you, they are wonderful characters and I am delighted that they exist, because when I was a teensy girl, there were not a lot of badass female adventurers, at least not where I could find them in my teensy Oregon town.
If someone has a problem with you liking female characters, what in god’s name does that say about THEM?

I honestly don’t have an idea what you are talking about, this rings no bells whatsoever.
People send notes like this once in a while, and I appreciate that they feel they should apologize for some perceived slight they may feel they have made at a convention. But I have to say, I don’t usually recall such things. Conventions are big and noisy, it’s confusing, it’s exhausting…it’s easy to say or do something that’s not entirely polite without intending to, I’ve done it MANY times myself, it’s kind of my nightmare, that I will accidentally be rude to a reader.
But I don’t recall this incident at all, so please don’t give it a second thought. If you want to elaborate, that’s fine, but the odds are, my response will be the same: thank you for the thought, and don’t worry about it even a little bit.
You made Bane , Deadshot and Catman my favorite DC characters of all time. I love them. Which of these three characters is your favorite and why?
That is a tough one, but out of those three, it MAY be Catman by a tiny margin. Only because I like that he came back. He was on the brink of collapse as a human being, and he came back.
I find that oddly hopeful.
I love all three though, and yes, I am totally a fangirl of characters!

I would drop boring Scott and cranky Logan from the picture, first thing.
Would Scandal even want one ice cream? This is an ice cream truck we're talking about. You would get a more satisfying dessert experience from a stale Oreo.
It is well established in Secret Six continuity that Scandal enjoys her butter brickle. :)
