Has there been any Movement-related journalism - like actual reviews or articles - that implies that it's some kind of stunt or gimmick because of its emphasis on characters who are members of various marginalized groups? Obviously one would expect some of
Oh, yeah, there was a lot. You can always tell when reading the comments who has actually READ the book and who has just decided it’s another Obama conspiracy or whatever horseshit they came up with.
No one in the book is all good or all bad. Even the ones that SEEM that way have more to them that we will see soon!

When you take over a character, what is your process? Do you adhere to past lore or is it more of a "this is my wonder woman/bat girl" thing? Also what would think of a black robin or bat girl? Does babs maybe need a robin of her own?
In general, I try to follow the rule of improv, which is, ‘Don’t negate.’
I will often try to bring my spin to a character, but my goal is very rarely to negate that character’s history. I want to incorporate that stuff. If something genuinely sucks, I usually ignore it, rather than say it didn’t happen.
Exceptions to this are relaunches, where the goal is to try to restart the character without decades of history. But my preference is to keep the character intact.
I would be very honored if you (and Mouse) would help me name my new baby rat. She is dark grey with white chest/belly/forelegs and she likes wiggling her way underneath her older sister Philomena.
