Fall With Me

Fall With Me is the 4th book in the Wait for You series– Wait for You, Be With Me, Stay With Me. But each novel can be read as a standalone, however listed above is the suggested reading order.

Eleven months ago, bartender and weird-shirt-wearing extraordinaire Roxy and Officer Reece Anders had a one night stand. Well, kind of. She’s been in love with him since she was fifteen, and he wishes that night they shared never happened. She’s sworn him off forever, but the past and future collide, forcing her to rely on the one man who broke her heart not once, but twice.
Her best friend since birth has been in a long-term care facility since he became a victim of a hate crime years ago, and the person who put him in there is out of prison and wanting to make amends with him and Roxy. She’s not sure she has room for forgiveness in her and when she begins to receive frightening messages and is on the receiving end of escalating violence, she thinks she knows who is to blame. The man who already destroyed one life already.
But Reece isn’t convinced. The threats are too personal, and even if Roxy doesn’t believe him, he’s not willing to let anyone hurt her. Including himself. He’s already messed up more than once when it comes to Roxy and he’s not going to let history repeat itself.

I am so excited to share Roxy and Reece’s story with you guys. Now, you may have noticed a slight difference in the design of the cover. For one thing, as you can see, my pen name is no longer is use. I’ve mentioned a couple of times that the last three books in the series were being printed in mass market, so there is the reason behind the slight change.
I am super excited about the change in format. New Adult books have been really hard for the publishers to place in bookstores, mainly because of the trade (the larger) size and it also creates a huge price difference between the digital (4.99) and the print (12.99). With the book going into mass market, it cost 7.99 and will have better placement to make getting a copy easier for many.
And I’m also super happy that Roxy is wearing glasses on the cover! Tee hee.

Living It Up on the Blacklist
So I was blacklisted recently.
Actually, they TRIED to blacklist me. Try being a key word, because this Twitter account, this Pub Net account really reeks of a unique kind of WTFery. Anyway, the didn’t try to blacklist just me. Dozens, if not hundreds of authors. Why? Because we donated money to Dear Author’s legal fund to help her fight a defamation cause. She’s being sued by a publisher.
I’m not going to give a giant run down events. All you need to do is go HERE to read the post which gives great background on what happen. Or THIS post. Or you can look under the #notchilled hashtag on Twitter.
Guys. GUYS. This is a big deal. It’s horrifying to think of these authors, editors, and artists not being paid or paid in a timely matter. It’s scary to think of a publisher smacking down a blogger with a freaking lawsuit because they did a post about it. And it’s frightening to think of a publisher demanding the names of authors who confided in the blogger. And it’s really terrifying to think of the kind of precedence this could set, where you have libel and defamation lawsuits flying around the interwebs because people got butt sore over something.
A fund was set up for Dear Author to help fight the case. You can donate HERE. I, as many other authors, donated. To be honest, I made my donation and went on with my life. And then this weird Twitter account pops up.
And then they began tweeting publishers
Actually. No. We donated money. We aren’t participating. And the lawsuit was filed BY THE PUBLISHER against the blogger. Not the other way around. But anyways, you know, intimidation tactics to silence authors…
And then there was this tweet:
The link they are sending to publishers is actually a list of authors who supported Dear Author and was created by people who wanted to support those authors.
Oh, look.. who’s the second name on that list. That would be me. At first I was like LOL, really? They are legit trying to blacklist us by contacting our publishers? There was only one way I could respond to this.
And…
And you know what?
The authors who are potentially effected by this whole mess need a voice. They need to make sure people know what is happening. The last thing anyone needs is some egg account trying to intimidate random authors into silence by spamming everyone under the sun. But you know what, you strange little, really suspicious Twitter account, that isn’t going to stop anyone from talking about this. It’s not going to make authors take back their money. Sorry.

Signed and personalized are two very different things, so please make sure you follow the instructions correctly. If you just request signed w/ no personalization instructions wherever they are required on these forms, you will just get a signed book and it will not be personalized.

Keep in mind these two campaigns for signed books CANNOT be combined, because I am not signing them at the same time. Stone Cold Touch is being signed the weekend of October 18th and the Lux Series that are being signed w/ Pepe are being signed on November 15th. Stone Cold Touch shipping cannot be delayed till November, because TrinDee events is hosting the Lux signing (from Houston, Texas) and Good Choice Reading is hosting Stone Cold Touch. Good Choice Reading is driving five hours (to Martinsburg, WV) to get those orders to me to be signed. So these sets of books are going to be nowhere near one another. I just want to clarify this since we are getting requests to combined the two.

YA Scavenger Hunt
Welcome to YA Scavenger Hunt! What’s next and housekeeping!
I’ve gotten a lot of questions about what’s next for the Wait for You series. Are there more books? Who are the books about? Will we see more of Cam and Avery, Jase and Teresa, Jax and Calla?
The answer is yes.
There are three more books in the Wait for You series. The next one is FALL WITH ME (I do believe that cover is being revealed in the next week or so), which comes out March 31st 2015. The couple in FALL WITH ME is Roxy and Reese, who you meet in STAY WITH ME. Of course, you will see more of the other couples in FALL WITH ME and in the rest of the series. I can tell you there will be a wedding and a baby in the series.
You can actually find out the rest of the titles of the rest of the books in the series under the FAQ section of my website. The first thing listed there are all my books in order (they are actually in order under the BOOKS tab also), and all the titles are listed out if you’re really curious or really bored or must be in the know.
You totally want to be in the know, right?
Just in case you’ve missed it, STAY WITH ME is out and available in print and digital wherever books are sold.
I also have two more releases this year. TWO MORE. First up is STONE COLD TOUCH that comes out October 21st, 2014.

This is the second book in the Dark Elements Series (White Hot Kiss is the first, Bitter Sweet Love is a prequel novella), and don’t forget there is an awesome twist to this series. We are allowing the readers to cast their vote and have a say in Layla’s love life. Voting will begin on October 21st and we do ask that you read STONE COLD TOUCH before you vote. After all, you may find yourself spin kicking yourself in the face if you vote after only reading one book. And spin kicks to the face are not fun. NOT FUN AT ALL and Bambi would not approve of this.
Then I have WICKED coming out, a NEW ADULT PARANORMAL, first in a series. WICKED releases on December 8th, 2014 and you can pre order on the following links below

Now on to some housekeeping stuff. I’ve been getting a lot of questions about the availability of the original Lux Series editions. When I saw original editions, I’m talking about PRINT copies that look like this

There is a ton of info about these books under my FAQ section and it has it’s own blog post, so I’m going to do a quick and dirty run down for new readers since it is confusing the vendors (book sellers) for some reason keep trying to sell those versions… even though they are gone, gone, gone (Phillip Phillips song FTW)
The original print versions of Obsidian, Onyx, Opal, and Origin are no longer available. Even if certain vendors (cough, cough Amazon and everyone in the world) are still allowing you to place an order for them. Of course, they aren’t charging you until the books ship, but here’s the catch, these books will NEVER ship. They are out of print and have been since June 2014. When I posted at the beginning of the year and said order the old editions now before they are gone, I wasn’t messing with you. The why behind the cover change can also be found under the FAQ portion of the website.
If you want these books in print, this is what is now available. Plus they are combined and therefore you are getting two books for virtually the price of one.
Obsidian and Onyx is combined into Lux Beginnings, Opal and Origin are combined into Lux Consequences, and Opposition includes Shadows. They look like this (you can get them wherever books are sold, including Target and Walmart)
