Author, author...

Glad you could join us today to learn all about Kristy Centeno !
Hi Kristy, and welcome! Can you tell us a little about yourself?
I’m a hard working mother of four and the eldest of four children. I was born in a small City in a Caribbean island some twenty something years ago and moved to the USA when I was four. I developed a love for books even before I could read them and my parents encouraged my passion by supplying a healthy amount of books, which I read often.
What or who initially inspired you to become a writer?
What truly inspired me to become a writer were the multiple voices in my head begging me to let them out of that vault in my brain and for me tell their story : )
Actually, I had so many different stories in my head that I wanted to do something about it. Instead of letting them go to waste, I decided to write them down and play with them a little. Eventually, ideas became paragraphs and those paragraphs turned into stories.
With the support of my loved ones, I kept pushing forward to get where I wanted to go.
What kind of research do you do for a novel and how extensive do you get?
I do research only if I want to incorporate something into the plot or background for any of my characters, or need facts about a certain place and am not completely sure how to proceed. I’m usually really extensive, taking anywhere from several hours to several days reading every bit of information I find either in books or the web. I want the information I use to be as accurate as possible so I take my time when it comes to research.
Do you have a special place you like to do your writing? Such as an office, a spare room, the dining room table, your couch?
I do actually. My dining room table. From there I can keep an eye on my toddler and still be able to write without losing sight of him.
As a reader, what types of works do you like to read and do you think they influence the genre/genres you write in?
I read Paranormal Romance, Erotic Romance, Horror, Thrillers, Young Adult, Mysteries, and occasionally True Crime.
Reading paranormal books inspired me to write about the paranormal so I guess you can say that in a way, reading has influenced what I write about.
What is your favorite method of writing...as in laptop, desktop, Ipad or the old fashioned pencil and paper?? And do you plot out your story or go with the flow of your muse?
My laptop is my favorite method of writing. However, when I’m on the go and I suddenly have an idea that I know I will or must use in one of my projects, I take out a small notebook I always carry with me and a pen.
I never plot my story ahead of time. I always go with the flow because the outline comes as I type so that’s what works for me.
When you need a break or some time off from the trials of being a writer, what can you be found doing?
Well, you can find me doing several things. One might see me spending time with the kiddies, either watching TV with them, or reading a book to them, or playing a game. I might take them to the park, the pool, or even shopping. When the kids are at school or asleep, you might find me listening to music, trying my best to relax both my mind and body. Or I might be sitting down on the couch with hubby and a cup of warm coffee in one hand, watching a good movie or talking about what went on during the day.
Is there anything about yourself nobody knows that you would like to share with our readers??
Even though I procrastinate a lot, I’m still able to find time to get things done : )
For fun, I have a few personal questions, Your Favorite 5 1) Favorite color - blue 2) Favorite dessert – NY cheesecake 3) Favorite Season - winter 4) Favorite sad song- Guren (this song has a special meaning for hubby and I) 5) Favorite Romantic movie – The Notebook
And a bonus, what is your ideal romantic vacation??
My ideal romantic vacation would start with a trip to Europe with hubby, and would include things like late night diners in the best restaurants, concerts, sightseeing, and lots of alone time : )

When desire battles with the forbidden and passion overrules obligation, at the end of the night, which will win?
Victoria Bonvalet, a purebred werewolf, has no desire to mate to an alpha not of her choosing and after a one of a kind encounter with the mysterious blood lord Tristan Garland rattles her existence, she knows that she could never share any part of herself without love being the number one incentive. Tristan, a vampire of over a thousand years, no longer cares much for the world or the creatures inhabiting it. But when he meets the beautiful she-wolf invading his deep woods territory, he realizes that it’s never too late to find your perfect match, even if she belongs to the opposite branch of all mythological beings. But even as they begin to explore their in-depth feelings for each other, can they find a way to be together without starting a war between two enemy species?
Excerpt:
Even as she took several steps towards her car, Victoria could still sense it getting closer. The scent emanating from this being wasn’t one she was used too. It was different, unique somehow. It was not unpleasant by any means, just different. The incredibly fast speed in which it traveled was another clear indication of its supernatural origins. No human on earth could move that fast. Victoria was certain of two things, this being wasn’t human and neither was it a werewolf. Then what could it be?
Victoria refused to be afraid even though she did not comprehend the nature of this being. It was different from what she was used to. All she had to do was identify what it was. Normally, she would rely on her keen sense of smell for that, but since she didn’t recognize this scent, it was nearly impossible to pinpoint what it was. The only supernatural creatures she was familiar with were her own kind, werewolves. But this thing hiding back there was no werewolf, of that she was absolutely sure.
Once Victoria was close enough to her vehicle, she stopped and turned to face the woods. It was dark out but she could see her surroundings very clearly. A slight breeze picked up, bringing this unknown being’s aroma in to fill her nostrils. It was strong and male, very male. If this being were a werewolf he would most certainly be an alpha, a powerful one at that. But this was no huge puppy, this was something else.
Victoria surveyed the area with her eyes. So far she detected no movement which meant this thing was still too far away to see. But it was getting closer by the second. The speed in which it traveled made her slightly uneasy. Werewolves were known to move fast but this thing moved faster still. She could sense it moving, gliding through the forest as if it was flying. She was utterly amazed by it and she hadn’t even seen it/him yet.
Victoria waited, her eyes focusing in on her surroundings. Her she-wolf abilities ready to strike if this thing presented itself to be a threat. She gripped her car keys tightly in anticipation of what would happen next. She waited patiently for it to show itself. She wasn’t looking for a fight, she didn’t want to ruin her outfit, but if push came to shove she wouldn’t hesitate. She was a she-wolf, therefore she was a fighter. She could defend herself quite readily. She didn’t need the pack to protect her despite her father’s beliefs.
Victoria’s eyes narrowed when she caught movement up ahead. At first, it seemed like one big blur moving from one side to another but then it started to get closer. The woods seemed to disappear as all she could see was this black and white mass moving towards her. She couldn’t make out any features because of the speed in which it traveled. Her entire body tensed as she readied herself for a fight. If this thing attacked her she would fight back. There would be no hesitation at all to use all her armor, and she was well packed.
Soon, the white mist finally appeared before her, a tall figure was now clearly identifiable. Victoria gasped as she caught sight of a man standing not twenty feet from her. She blinked several times to make sure her eyes weren’t playing any tricks on her. She noted, after opening and closing her eyes for like the tenth time, that there really was a man standing nearby. He didn’t move. He just stared at her with as much intensity as she was gazing back at him.
Even in the darkness encasing them both, she took in every distinctive feature of his. He was tall, as tall as the trackers from the pack usually were. Shoulder length hair as white as a hand full of snow framed the sides of his face. His eyes were a shade of blue so pale, they appeared almost translucent. Unusually whitish skin and a lean and well-muscled figure finished his physical description.
His inhuman eyes assessed her in much the same manner she did him. Victoria watched as the breeze toyed with his hair, bringing a few stray locks to caress his right cheek. Werewolves tended to have unique features but this being was unique even for her. His white hair, pale skin, and clear eyes made him look like a marble statue. Had it not been for the few strands of hair being tossed around his shoulders by the light breeze, she could have easily mistaken him for one.
"Who are you?” She managed to ask at last. “What are you?”
His eyes narrowed as she spoke but he said nothing.
“What do you want?” She asked angrily when she noted he refused to answer. The man took several steps towards her then stopped. He cocked his head to one side as if he was having trouble hearing her. Victoria did not flinch or move as he approached. There was no need for her to back away like a frightened kitten. She refused to show any form of fear. Not that she feared him; she was more intrigued than anything else. “I was once known as Tristan Garland,” His voice startled her; it sounded so deep and gruff that she couldn’t help but think that perhaps he used it very little. “Once?”
He nodded.
“Why are you following me?” She dared to ask.
The being now known as Tristan eyed her with curiosity. “I do not follow you.” His eyes narrowed as he glared at her. “You invade and hunt in my territory.” He stated simply. She couldn’t tell whether he was angry or not. His passive face revealed nothing of what he was thinking. “You are the one trespassing, not I.”

Ten Southern Superstitions
There's so much that makes a region of the country different and unique -- the food, the way that the trees and houses look, and certainly, the way that people talk (think the heavy accent of New York City natives and the soft, soothing drawl of Southerners).
Like travel writer Julia Sullivan in Dancing Naked in Dixie, and anyone 'new' to life in the Deep South, there's a lot to learn about the history, culture, and customs. If you visit anyone below the Mason Dixon Line, here are ten Southern Superstitions you might hear about -- all guaranteed to make you giggle!
1. If a girl takes a piece of wedding cake home and puts it under her pillow, she'll dream about the man she's going to marry
2. A woman should never sweep the floor when she's pregnant or the baby will have the umbilical cord around his/her neck
3. Bundle a baby before going outside or he/she will get "the colic."
4. If your right palm itches, you're going to come into money
5. If you dream about fish, someone you know is pregnant
6. Never speak ill of the dead
7. If you tickle a baby it will make him/her stutter
8. There's a baby in every bottle of Geritol (Taking these vitamins will help get a woman pregnant)
9. If a woman has a lot of heartburn while pregnant, her baby will have a lot of hair
10. If a baby bumps his head, he'll make bad grades in school
You'll find plenty of additional Southern phrases and eclectic sayings in Dancing Naked in Dixie. Which are your favorites? --------------

Excerpt :
I’m a travel writer at Getaways magazine. Paid for the glorious task of gathering up fascinating snippets of culture and piecing them into quirky little stories. Jet-setting to the Riviera, exploring the Great Barrier Reef, basking on Bermuda beaches. It’s as glamorous and exhilarating as I imagined.
Okay, it is a tad lonely, from time to time.
And quite exhausting.Which is precisely why I have to get organized. Today.
I sink into my chair and try to concentrate. What to tackle first? Think, think.
“Julia Sullivan!”
Third reminder. Uh-oh.
Marietta rolls her eyes and jerks a thumb toward the inevitable. “Guess you better walk the plank,” she teases. “New guy’s waiting. Haven’t met him yet, but I’ve heard he’s the ‘take no prisoners’ sort. Hope you come back alive.”
I grope for something witty and casual to say, but all of a sudden, my head feels light and hollow.
I’ve been dying to find out about the new editor.
Every last gory detail.
Until now.
“I’m still in another time zone,” I offer up to Marietta with a weak smile. My insides toss from side to side as I slide out of my chair.
Marietta tosses me a wry look. “Nice try. Get going already, sport.”
I tilt my head toward the hallway and pretend to pout. When I look back, Marietta’s already disappeared. Smart girl.
“Fine, fine.” I tug a piece of rebellious auburn hair into place, smooth my wool suit, and begin to march toward the inevitable.
Our new editor.
My neck prickles.
I’m not going to worry. Not much anyway.
My pulse thuds.
Not going to worry about change. Or re-organization. Or pink slips.
Focus, Julia. ***

Author, author...

Today we have with us the talented
Harley De Luca !!
Welcome Harley, so glad to have you here. Can you tell us a little about yourself?
I am a 29 year old Erotica author that lives near Kansas City, KS. I have been a cosmetologist for the past 11 years and have recently started on a bowling league. I am a huge sports lover. Baseball is my favorite sport but hockey is a close second. My supernatural love is vampires and sex demons!! Vishious from Ward’s Blackdagger brotherhood and Shade and Wraith from Ione’s Demonica are my secret book crushes!!
What did you want to be when you were growing up or did you always want to be a writer?
Actually as a little kid I always wanted to be a singer, I loved the idea of performing for thousands of people, being the center of attention with singing and dancing. But as I have found out over the years singing in the shower and the car actually gives you a false reality! So I figured I would just entertain my fans with my words!
When did you first start writing?
I first started writing a couple of years ago. I had started a book group on Shelfari, it was just a small group of us that were pretty tight. We talked about everything and even started to do a little bit of role play. Then in a different book group I had belonged to started a sweet little idea of writing their own stories with certain guidelines that were set. That was when it actually occurred to me that I could actually write for others and feel pretty fulfilled by the results. So naturally as my story developed in the group so did my expectations for myself and my ideas for other stories.
What is a typical writing day like for you?
Typically I would start off the day with a couple cups of coffee and go through all my emails. After emails are done and websites were checked I pick up whatever book I’m reading and read a few chapters just to get my brain waves on the right track. Then it’s all about the right kind of music set, the candles lit and the WIP (work in progress) pulled up in the screen and off I go with the story. Once I am in this zone it is very hard for me to stop. I could be writing for ten hours or more a day, but that is all in the life of a writer.
Do you have an specific routine you follow or specific items you need with you when you write?
Coffee, music, candles, pictures and no interruptions. Not in that particular order but those are definitely a must when I am writing. Also a book, either one from your favorite author or one you are reading now. Just to help dig you out of any writing hole you may get stuck in.
What is your favorite part of writing? Is there anything you don’t like about being a writer?
I have a few different favorites of writing. I love being able to share my thoughts and ideas of who my characters are with my readers. Just knowing that I am helping someone get out of their own reality is an amazing feeling for me as so many of my favorite authors have done for me with their stories. Another favorite is just being able to write for the release of everything that is going on in my world on a daily basis. Writing is a great stress reliever. And also getting the news that your story was picked up by the publisher and you are soon going to be sharing your “world” with the world is the best feeling of being a writer. The only thing I hate about writing is writers block. That is the worst, especially when you have a deadline.
What is your favorite length of book to write? (Short story, novella, full length novel) Why?
I really don’t have a favorite length of book to write. Just as long as I feel like the story was told in the best way possible for my readers to love it and understand it then the length really has no meaning to me.
How does your family feel about your writing and you being an author?
At first they were not as supportive because of the lack of stability. But as they have read some of my work and actually can see that it has helped me express myself in a healthy manner they are more than supportive. Usually when I tell people I am a writer they look at me two different ways. They are really supportive and think it’s the best thing in the world to know someone who is a published author or they look at me like I’m a “starving artist”, especially when I tell them that I am an erotica author. That is usually when those people back away and just let me be. See for me I am a very out spoken and lack a filter from my brain to my mouth. If someone doesn’t like me for what I write then that is not a concern for me to be worried about. That is their choice and I am not the type of person who is bothered by their reactions. It’s what makes me happy and makes me feel good about myself and lets me know that I can accomplish anything I put my mind to, whether or not if I have supporters or not. You can’t please everyone!!
Is there a to-be-read waiting on your bedside table?
OMG! My to-be-read pile is two, eight foot bookshelves (full and in some spots doubled up) and my loaded kindle. It is ridiculous actually! I can read a book in about a day or day and a half if I am not interrupted. One day I figured it up that if I read a book a day I would be in my early 70’s to read all of the ones I have right now. Not including any new releases from my fellow authors. That’s of course a estimated age based off of not working 5 days a week, plus writing and my bowling league.
For fun, I have a few personal questions,
Favorite 5 1) Favorite Holiday- Halloween! Best time of year to be someone else for a day.
2) Favorite Drink- Grey Goose and Cranberry juice. Thanks to JR Ward and Vishious for getting me hooked on Grey Goose!!
3) Favorite Author- JR Ward. Gotta love those brothers!
4) Favorite Book- It’s actually a tossup between Lover Eternal and Lover Unbound. I have read this series 8 times within the past 3 years and every time I read it I find something new to love about these guys.
5) Favorite Animal- Black Panther. A very agile and sleek animal. Calm and leisurely until the time to strike arises.
And for a bonus: What is a typical mood for you? And is your mood different when you’re writing?
LMAO!! Typically my mood is light but I am half Italian, ¼ Norwegian and a ¼ German so I do have a short fuse and a huge temper. But even with those genetics my temper hardly ever comes out to play. When I’m writing my attitude totally changes. Personally I feel like it has to change in order to be able to write out certain scenes.

**One last thing before we let you leave us today :) Do you have a favorite recipe you'd like to share? I like to cook and am always looking for new recipes to try and share but it's totally up to you.
Penne alla Vodka (Gluten-Free)
Makes 4 servings
You really want to use good ingredients here. Make sure the marinara sauce is from a brand you trust, or you can make your own. The vodka, on the other hand, can be anything you have lying around from your last party.
Ingredients
2 tablespoons olive oil
½ teaspoon red chili flakes
1 quart marinara sauce
1/2 cup vodka
1/2 cup cream
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (plus more for serving)
8 basil leaves, julienned (optional)
1 pound penne pasta (brown rice if you’re GF)
In a large saucepan, heat the oil over a medium flame. Add the chili flakes and cook until just sizzling, about 2 minutes. Carefully pour in the tomatoes and the vodka. Bring to a simmer, then reduce the heat to medium low. Cook, stirring consistently, for 10 – 15 minutes, until reduced. Stir in the cream, Parmesan, and half the basil (if using), and cook until the cheese has melted and the whole sauce is luscious and pink.
In the meantime, bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta in a colander, or transfer to the sauce using a slotted spoon. Toss with the sauce until combined. Cook for another minute. Then garnish with the remaining basil, and few shreds of Parmesan, and serve alongside the extra block of cheese for grating.
NOTE: the sauce can be made in advance. If it is too thick, add 1/4 cup of pasta water to thin it slightly when you toss it with the pasta.
Harley, it was an absolutel pleasure learning more about you today and what a yummy recipe!
I seriously cannot wait to get your new release Mistress of Passion. Please keep us up to date on what your next release!!
Readers thanks for stopping by and make sure you search out this new short story, you'll love it!

Sinead MacDughlas
Welcome Sinead, so great to have you here with us. Can you tell us a little about yourself?

I’m creeping up on 42 years of age, happily married the second time around, and a mom to two toddlers, three and four years old. No one ever sees photos of my little ones, because I’m overprotective online. Lol.
I like to dabble in a lot of crafty things, but writing is my first and greatest love. I like to tell people that I bleed words and breathe music, (but I’m a horrible singer). I have a weird sense of humour, (there’s that Canadian spelling), and I babble when I’m nervous.
Do real life events find their way into your stories?
Oh, absolutely! They aren’t always events in mylife, though. Sometimes they’re events I’ve heard about second and third-hand, and my imagination has embellished them. However, in “Learn To Love Me”, the scene where Emily first meets Alex comes straight out of my life. I’ve twisted it slightly, of course. In real life, ‘Alex’ and I were both extremely embarrassed by the whole thing, but over time we became dear friends.
I asked his permission to include the scene in the book and, thank goodness, he agreed, wholeheartedly. We still laugh about it, often.
Do you ever mimic family members or people you know when you choose characters?
I don’t mimic people exactly, but I often borrow traits from people I know. A character may use a friend’s favourite phrase in dialogue, often. I might ‘borrow’ the way they suck the air out of their teeth, or wink whenever they say something sarcastic, to let people know they’re joking. Most of my characters are a compilation of several people I’ve met. Sometimes, I observe people I’ve never met, though, trying to guesstheir story. I get some great characters with that exercise.
Do you find yourself going back to the same inspiration for each story or is it always something different?
Questions, music and emotional experience are my main sources of inspiration. The questions, when I remember to write them down are the odd things I think, like, “Why does ‘I’m sorry’ become more reflex than sincerity, for some people?” The questions are always different.
I do tend to fall back on familiar songs, when I’m looking for a certain atmosphere for a character. They’re songs that help me remember the personal emotional experiences that I can use to fuel the character in a scene. Each character ends up with their own playlist by the time I’m done. Emily, in “Learn To Love Me” swayed back and forth between Sarah McLachlan songs and Disturbed, a lot.
When do you write? Early morning? During the day sometime or all day? After the kids go to bed?
I really can’t write until the children, hubby and cat are all sleeping. Most of my writing happens between ten o’clock at night and two o’clock in the morning. The daytime is for playtime with the kiddies, social networking and promotions. Evening is the children’s bedtime ritual, including stories and songs, and then a few minutes with my husband. The night is when I can focus on creating.
How do you feel about marketing your book?
I sometimes feel a bit like a hawker at the fair, asking people to buy my book, or review it, so others will buy it. I really loveconnecting with the readers, though, and hearing their feedback, so it’s a necessary part of the process for me. If I don’t market, I won’t have readers to connect with.
What social sites do you feel work best for marketing?
Right now, I tend to use Facebook the most. I’m still learning how to use Google + and Goodreads. Twitter tweets scroll by sofast, it’s hard to get a conversation started with more than one person. With Facebook, it’s much simpler to really engage with the friends and fans I have. Perhaps Google +, being more like FB than Twitter, will take over one day. First, I’d have to learn more about it, but that would cut into my writing time. I’m not ready to make that sacrifice just yet.
Do you like to pitch stories to your publisher or do you wait until you have written the story and have a final manuscript to turn in?
Although I like the idea of pre-approval on a concept, I really prefer to have the finished manuscript before I approach my publisher directly with it. Pitching would require that I know the story, start to finish, before I begin writing. Though I don’t object to outlining, I’d rather keep it flexible.
Is there any other genre that you would love to try writing? If so, what is it?
With two toddlers in the house, I’d love to take a shot at a children’s book!
Do you always/ever see yourself as the heroine/hero when you write a story?
I wouldn’t say that I see myself as the main character, rather I become each of the characters when I write. I enjoy writing in the first person, because that’s what feels the most immersive for me. I like to step into the role of each character, even the ‘bad guy’. Nearly every character has a touch of me, because I bring my own perspective to each of them in some way, but none of them is truly me.
Just for fun, I have a few personal questions,
Favorite 5 1) Favorite Male Actor - Hugh Jackman
2) Favorite vehicle - Triple-black '69 Chevelle SS 396
3) Favorite way to relax - Reading
4) Favorite ice cream – Mint Chocolate Chip
5) Favorite outfit – A loose summer dress
And for a bonus: If you could pick any place in the world to live, besides where you are now, where would it be? (Of course, without the hindrance of jobs or money needed)
Oooh, that’s a tough one. A hobby-farm between Bracebridge and Hunstville, Ontario. Lol. That’s cheating a bit, I know, but I really love my home province. As much as I’d like to see the world, home would still be here, just farther north.

Is there an upcoming or current release you would like to share with us today and where can we find it?

“Despite her secret past, Emily O’Shea was finally living a normal life. There had been some arguments with her husband, Trevor, lately, but no marriage is perfect. At least the column she writes for the local paper is going well…that is, until one of her interviewees goes missing, and a monster from her past resurfaces.
Within a week Emily’s life spins into chaos. Missing girls, a telephone stalker, murder, a monster, and an intense ex-lover; it’s turning out to be one hell of a summer!
Her husband is acting erratically, her boss is threatening to pull her column, and the police suspect she’s the muse for a murderer. Can Emily save her marriage, her job, her life and her sanity? More importantly, are her darkest fears justified? Does Emily already know who the killer is and, if she does; can she do anything to stop them?”
You can find “Learn To Love Me” in Kindle or Paperback, in the Crushing Hearts & Black Butterfly Kindle Store http://tinyurl.com/d2oq3mn
*Last thing before we let you leave us today, do you have a favorite recipe you'd like to share? I like to cook and am always looking for new recipes to try and share but it's totally up to you.
Oh, I love to share recipes! I’ll give you an entrée AND a dessert!
First the Entrée, or I should say Side-dish
Easy Cheesy Mushroom Rice
Ingredients
I can of Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup
½ cup milk
1 cup water
I tbsp. dried onion (or ¼ onion finely chopped)
1 tsp. dried oregano
½ tsp. dried basil
2 tsp. dried parsley
½ tsp. powdered garlic (NOT garlic salt)
½ tsp. celery salt
1 tsp. black pepper
3 heaping tbsp. cream cheese or cheese whiz (or both if you really like cheese)
Instant Rice
¼ cup grated parmesan cheese (or ½ cup if you really like cheese)
This one is really simple
Put the soup, milk, water, spices and cream cheese/cheese whiz, into a med.to large sauce pot. (I like to grind the spices fine, with a pestle, first). Whisk the ingredients together and heat on med/high until the soup begins a rolling boil. (Continue whisking to prevent burning and blend the ingredients thoroughly. Remove from the heat and quickly stir in instant rice until the mixture resembles really runny oatmeal. Cover and let stand, off of the heat, for 10 minutes. Add the parmesan cheese and mix thoroughly. Serve.
This is a favourite of mine. It will easily serve 6 people with plenty of leftovers. If you want to make it a complete meal, add cooked ground beef, chicken, turkey or pork, and serve with a vegetable. I also like to add diced fresh mushrooms to the pot before I start cooking the soup, when I have them on hand.
Now for the dessert, and another favourite of mine.
Simple Stovetop Cheesecake
You’ll need:
One graham cracker pie crust, pre-baked
2 tbsp lemon juice
3 eggs
1 egg white
1 pkg. light cream cheese
1/3 cup granulated sugar
¼ tsp. salt
1/3 cup 1% or 2% milk
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
Pie filling, fresh fruit or chocolate for topping.
Note: It’s important to pre-measure all of the ingredients for this recipe, and you want to make this at least two hours before you plan to serve it.
In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, eggs and egg white.
In a med. sauce pot, cut the cream cheese into cubes or slices and melt over low heat.
When the cheese is all softened (starting to bubble), add the sugar, salt, milk and nutmeg and whisk.
Increase the heat to med.-high.
Whisking continuously pour in the lemon/egg and whisk more slowly until the mixture begins to part behind the whisk.
Remove the pot from the heat and immediately pour the mixture into the graham cracker crust.
Let the mixture stand for one hour at room temperature and then top with your preferred topping. (I like to use half a can fruit pie filling and some fresh fruit, or for a lighter dessert, cool whip light and fresh fruit.)
Refrigerate for at least one hour before serving.
Thank you, so much, for having me on your blog Krista! I really enjoyed the interview!

Excerpt:
I tore my clothing off and flung it to the floor. My red, strapless number hung beside the mirror, ready to push my cleavage to the limit. I studied my tits– full and round with ugly, white stretch marks covering the sides. I could wear an under wire tonight. Master hadn’t said not to. The push–up bra would show the birthmark smack dab between my tits. His tongue always spent a lot of time there.
My hips were too big. Master loved them. I shouldn’t doubt his word. My hazel eyes were my best feature. I used them to give Master butter–fly kisses.
“Amber, five minutes.”
Master gave me time warnings. I needed them. I wished I had time to paint my nails. At least my hair was how I wanted it. The thong pressed stiff and cold against my bare mound. The bottom of my right lip puckered out at the side. A sexy, tramp mentality overcame me as I twirled in front of the mirror.
“Time’s up, my pet.”
“Nearly done, Master.” I spritzed my perfume and reapplied my lipstick.
“You’re late.”
“I know.”

Today we have the wonderful
Wendi Zwaduk
Hi Wendi, great to have you here today! Could you please tell us a little about yourself?
I’m short, have blue hair and love to sing to the steering wheel. (Wow, the more I read that, the more I sound like a smurf...) I get loud when I’m with my best friend and love to laugh. Put me at a race (just about any involving a motor) and I’m happy as a clam.
What or who initially inspired you to become a writer?
I read a Harlequin story involving racing and I hated the way the racing was shoved to the background. I wanted to see how the characters lives were more involved in what they did. Most every racer I know eats, drinks, and breathes racing. It’s not just a job. I didn’t like the ending either, so I worked on my own story. I’d always had the stories in my head, but never had the reason to put them on paper. Now I do.
What kind of research do you do for a novel and how extensive do you get?
Depends. If it’s a racing story, then I absolutely have to go to the races and hang out in the pits soaking up all the info I can. If the story is a contemporary romance involving teachers, then I tend not to do as much research. I was a teacher for four years and have a degree in education, so I know what I’m talking about. But when it comes to the handful of historical I’ve written, I tend to go berserk researching. Why? There is always that one person who knows that one little detail is wrong, even when the rest are right. If at all possible, I don’t want that to happen.
Do you have a special place you like to do your writing? Such as an office, a spare room, the dining room table, your couch?
The whole house. Seriously. The couch works, but I tend to sit in front of the couch on the floor and use the coffee table. If my knees are acting up (arthritis), then I sit at the kitchen table. We used to have an office, but with three people on three different computers, one desk just doesn’t cut it. Plus, I need noise to work. I’ve always been strange that way. So I tend to be out where everyone else is—unless I’m writing something hinky. That’s when I have to be alone. Grin.
As a reader, what types of works do you like to read and do you think they influence the genre/genres you write in?
I like to read a wide variety of books, but my favorites tend to be Stephen King and John Grisham. I know, so not romance. I love romance, too. Give me a KA Mitchell book and I’m golden. I like Kresley Cole’s Scotish series. I gobble up the vampires Kimberly Raye writes. Do they influence me? Probably. I don’t have the legal chops to write anything involving lawyers. I’m not really big into horror that I can see (the movies scare the crap out of me), but I like reading it. Then again, Bag of Bones, by King had spots in it where I swore the thing was real. I’m influenced in that I know my limits. Horror is beyond my limits. Grin.
What is your favorite method of writing...as in laptop, desktop, Ipad or the old fashioned pencil and paper?? And do you plot out your story or go with the flow of your muse?
Snicker. I write almost everything on my laptop. It’s my right hand object. It’s even got a race car ON it. I know. I’m neurotic. But I’m just as strange in that I write a lot on paper. If I get stuck, I close the laptop and grab one of my various notebooks. Inevitably that’s when the muse will talk. It works out.
I tend to pants my stories. I let the muse run and try desperately to keep up. There are stories when I do plot. I’d be in so much trouble if I didn’t. But a lot of the time I pants and run. Grin.
When you need a break or some time off from the trials of being a writer, what can you be found doing?
Watching racing. I love racing and drawing. I’m a mom, too, so that tends to take up time when the muse talks. I’m Mom #1 and writer #2. Is that bad? Depending on who you ask it could be. Shrug. The nice thing is my small person likes to read and write books, too, so going to the library or bookstore is therapeutic for the both of us.
Is there anything about yourself nobody knows that you would like to share with our readers??
I can’t drive a stick shift vehicle. Can’t get the rhythm down to do it. Sucks when that’s the only vehicle available, but I’m a block head in that respect. Shrug.
For fun, I have a few personal questions,
Your Favorite 5 1) Favorite color – dark blue
2) Favorite dessert -3) Favorite Season - fall
4) Favorite sad song – I Guess That’s Why They Call It The Blues
5) Favorite Romantic movie – the Wedding Singer
And a bonus, what is your ideal romantic vacation??
This is a true story, too. My ideal romantic vacation was my birthday a couple years back. I love dirt racing and Dh bought tickets for a HUGE late model dirt race. We took the camper (which isn’t my favorite, but it’s an RV so I can deal. I love having the hotel on wheels) and watched racing. He made steaks like I like and Dilly Bars for desert. It was great. We had family time and then had to explain to the small person why every time Mommy goes camping, the camper shakes. But that’s my idea of fun. It was romantic and fun and I’d do it again. Where’s the next race?

It’s 1970. The world is in upheaval. Can two people really make a difference and find love at the same time?
Noel Flynt signed up for the Army to carry out his family duty. He never expected the travesties of Vietnam to take their toll on him. He’s coming back to the world he thought he knew, but with everything changing around him, he’s going to have to learn he can’t live in the past.
Cindy Stephens couldn’t wait for Noel to return. She sees the man within the uniform and has loved him for as long as she can remember. But times have changed. She’s not the timid schoolgirl any longer. Can she accept his changes, too?
The only constants are time and love.
Reader Advisory: This book contains one war hero, the woman who loves him, lots of hot sex, with a little spanking mixed in for good measure.

EXCERPT!!!!
“You tired?”
“No.”
“Good. I’m not, either.” Noel got up from the chair and pulled her into his lap as he sat down on the bed. He situated her legs on either side of his and hiked up her skirt. He removed the elastic from her hair and ran his fingers through the downy strands. “Now, about your request.”
“You don’t want to.” She scooted back on his lap. “Really, don’t patronise me.”
“You use big words to cut me down.” He threaded his fingers in her hair and tugged slightly, bringing her close. “Sunshine, I very much want to make love to you.”
“I’m not her and you love—”
Noel kissed the response from her mouth. Love wasn’t in his cards, but satisfying Cindy all night? That was a different story. He breathed in the scent of her perfume—something flowery and light. He brushed his fingers down her bare arm. Her soft skin reminded him of silk.
Cindy scratched her nails on his shirt and broke the kiss. Her chest heaved with each breath. He cupped one hand behind her head and used his other hand to slip the strap of her dress down her shoulder. The upper swell of her breast came into view. He kissed the soft spot behind her ear and worked his way down her throat.
Each of her whimpers and sighs imprinted itself on his heart. She affected him more than the champagne. He licked and nibbled along her collarbone, and her pulse thrummed beneath his lips. He moved the other strap low on her arm. Cindy wriggled free from the elastic bodice of her sundress and put her arms around him. Heat from her pussy sent a fever through his body.
“Sweet Jesus.” He leant back, drawing her flush against his body. “I need you.”
Cindy sat up. Her hair billowed around her face and the dress slipped down to her navel, exposing her lace-covered breasts to his gaze. The blush on her chest matched the rosy colour filling her cheeks.
He placed one hand on her breast and stroked her nipple through her bra. Behind the lace, the dusky skin tightened into a bead. Her eyes widened and her hands trembled as she slowly dragged her dress lower on her body. He reached behind her and flicked the catch on her bra. The cups loosened, revealing more of her skin.
There's one last thing before we say goodbye today. Do you have a favorite recipe you'd like to share? I like to cook and am always looking for new recipes to try and share but it's totally up to you.
This is one of my favorite recipes because it’s easy, versatile and can be twiddled with.
Red Punch
1 2ltr bottle 7Up, Sprite or lemon-lime soda (Can be diet or caffeine free)
1 64 oz bottle Hawaiian Punch
1 pkg Frozen strawberries
Mix the whole caboodle in a punch bowl. The strawberries work as ice cubes that are edible and healthy. Add more strawberries as needed.
The beauty of this recipe is that you can add harder beverages to it or keep it kid-friendly. Most everyone likes it and it goes over well. Just be warned. It can stain! Grin. Yep, found that out the hard way.
Wendy that sounds like a great party punch for adult or children! Thanks so much for sharing yourself with us today and love the sound of the new release !!

Author, author

Please welcome Lillian Grant to our humble abode!!
Lillian so great to have you here today:) Can you tell us a little about yourself?
I was born in London and raised in the UK but I emigrated to Australia and I can’t imagine living anywhere else. When I am not working at the day job or writing I love to travel.
What did you want to be when you were growing up or did you always want to be a writer?
I used to be involved in amateur dramatics in my teens. I dreamed of being an actress or pop star. I even learned to play the guitar. I did sing with a band a few years ago but unfortunately I was destined for another career and fate turned me into a tax accountant. I never thought about writing until a friend suggested I stop messing about writing stuff to amuse myself and seek publication.
When did you first start writing?
I started writing about 7 years ago. To begin with I wrote with friends for fun. We would take it in turns to add scenes to a never ending story. One of them thought I should try writing something for publication so I did. The rest is history.
What is a typical writing day like for you?
I try to write everyday. If my hubby goes to work early I grab a cup of green tea, fire up the netbook and sit in my study and try to do what I can before I leave for the day job. If I am not tied up in meetings at lunchtime I drive to a nearby rooftop car park, switch on the CD player, flick open a can of Coke Zero, break out the netbook and get to work. With no internet and nothing to look at I can write quite a few words in an hour. I usually set myself writing goals each day. In the evenings, once dinner and the chores are done, I sit on the sofa and catch up with blog posts, critiquing for other people etc. I am too mentally exhausted to write after a day at work. On the weekends I try to find a few hours to spend writing but as we are in the midst of renovating our house it’s not always easy.
Do you have an specific routine you follow or specific items you need with you when you write?
I usually have a can of Coke Zero, a cup of tea, or a glass of wine to hand, depending on the time of day. I usually write with music playing. Silence is very distracting. Other than that I can write anywhere.
What is your favorite part of writing? Is there anything you don’t like about being a writer?
My favourite part of writing is getting a new idea. When a plot first pops into your head it is all bright and shiny and full of potential. You have to resist the urge to drop your current story and start a new one, not that I always succeed as evidenced by the number of half written books clogging up my hard drive.
I don’t like marketing. I feel kind of stupid asking people to buy my books even though I love them all. I used to sell Avon door to door years ago. We had to buy the catalogues and I never made a profit. I don’t think my sales technique worked. It went something like. “Hi, I’m here to collect my Avon catalogue. You don’t have to by anything if you don’t want to.” Guess what? Mostly they decided they didn’t want to buy anything. I guess I should stick to my strengths and leave selling to someone who knows what they are doing.
What is your favorite length of book to write? (Short story, novella, full length novel) Why?
I love to write full length novels. I have written a novella but most of the plots I have don’t lend themselves to something that short. I love to have the words to get right into the heads of my characters and to tease out the plot. I am not fond of reading short stories because a lot of them barely get started and they’re finished.
How does your family feel about your writing and you being an author?
My husband likes to pretend I write something else. My kids told me they would never tell anyone I wrote erotic romance but they did. None of them have read my books although their girlfriends have.
Is there a to-be-read waiting on your bedside table?
I have more than one book on my TBR pile. I am working through JD Robb’s In Death Series and JR Ward’s Black Dagger Brotherhood series. I also have Errol Flynn’s autobiography that I am reading for research purposes.
For fun, I have a few personal questions,
Favorite 5
1) Favorite Holiday Definitely Hamilton Island off the coast of Tropical Nth Queensland. It’s near the Barrier Reef and I love to snorkel with the coral, beautiful fish and sea turtles. The scantily clad men on the beach aren’t bad either.
2) Favorite Drink A smoky shiraz from McLaren Vale which is not far from my home in South Australia
3) Favorite Author Oh hard question. I have so many. Today I would say JD Robb. I love her In Death Series. The characters are just wonderful.
4) Favorite Book The Rum Diary by Hunter S. Thompson. It has no real plot and just when you think it will get to the point the book ends and yet the descriptions, the setting, the overall feel of the book draws me back again and again.
5) Favorite Animal Sea Turtles. I snorkeled with some when I was on holiday and they are the most beautiful and graceful creatures when you see them in their natural environment.
And for a bonus: What is a typical mood for you? And is your mood different when you’re writing?
My husband would probably say grumpy especially in the mornings LOL. I am actually a very happy person. The only time my mood affects my writing is if I have a sex scene to write. You can’t write something that intense unless you are in the right frame of mind. Some days I just close the netbook and have to say maybe tomorrow.

Is there an upcoming or current release you would like to share with us today and where can we find it?

The book I am currently promoting is called Male Review. It’s book two in my Reigning Men Series.
It can be found at
A nymphomaniac octogenarian great aunt, a frigid mother, and a BDSM male strip club, what could possibly go wrong?
Sam Stephens and Meg Riley are in love, and finally on the cusp of sex anytime, anywhere, anyhow. That is until Meg’s Great Aunt Maud, the octogenarian nymphomaniac, gets tossed out of the old folk’s home and moves in with them, closely followed by her polar opposite, Meg’s scarily frigid mother.
When Meg’s best friend Laura convinces Aunt Maud to invest in Male Review, a BDSM themed male strip joint, it seems to be just one more step along the path to madness. Laura’s last venture ended with Meg being arrested as a pimp. When former prostitute Michael is hired as the bar manager the whole thing is surely destined for disaster. He’s to blame for the crazies invading Meg’s home and even worse, he still has the hots for her.
If she wants to get her life back all Meg needs to do is find a new home for Maud, resolve the dispute between her warring parents, keep Michael at arm’s length and rescue her relationship with Sam before it disintegrates completely. Male Review appears to be just one more problem to deal with, but perhaps it could provide an unexpected solution.
Excerpt
Sam thought about detouring into his bedroom, but instead he kept going until he got to the bathroom. Meg would be more relaxed with a locked door between them and her aunt. Nothing was going to stop him now, not even Maud. A man could only live with the woman he loved and hold her at arm’s length for so long. Not that he wanted to make out in front of the old lady. She didn’t need anything else to rev her engine, but something had to give, and right now his balls were aching with a fierce desire like never before.
He swung the door open, stepped inside, and dragged Meg in with his free hand before she had a chance for second thoughts. Although, from the way her pupils dilated, her soft pink lips slightly parted and nipples pressed hard against her nightwear, he doubted she had a coherent thought in her head. He wasn’t far behind her. If he didn’t re-consummate his love for her soon, he was going to explode.
He pushed the door shut and turned the lock before pinning her against it. Her breasts squashed against his bare chest, the warm fabric of her night dress the only barrier between them. When she brushed her lips over his the pulse in his groin quickened. He needed to take a moment or he would shoot his wad before she was even close to orgasm, and their relationship didn’t work that way. They had rules. No release for him without at least one for her. The thought of her pussy pulsating around him didn’t help any. With a soft moan, he pushed away, making some space between them. She was too short for sex in the shower to work without added elevation, but he had the problem in hand.
He passed her the ice cream and spoon, and then opened the cupboard door. He turned around with a huge grin on his face and her best pair of fuck-me sandals swinging from his index finger.
“You little bugger. I’ve been looking all over for those.”
“I figured I might as well keep them handy. Never know when you could have a shower emergency and need them.”
“What, like a having to call a plumber kind of emergency?”
Sam stepped closer, pinning her to the door with his body. A tide of lust swept through him and settled as a hardening pulse in his erect manhood. “I can be your plumber, painter, or anything else you need. I’m always available to be your tool man.”
Meg dipped the spoon into the ice cream, and then dribbled the cool confection over Sam’s pecs. Leaning forward, she lapped at his skin. Her perfect mouth did things to him no other woman ever had. Gasping for air, he purred beneath her hot tongue—if he had been a rocket, she would have just lit his fuse with that move.
Sam dipped his finger into the dessert and slipped it between her lips before replacing his finger with his tongue. They played tongue tag as the deliciously cool treat melted in their mouths. With a loud moan, Meg dropped the tub to the floor and wrapped her arms around his neck. The spoon landed on the gleaming white ceramic tiles with an ear shattering clatter and they both froze.
Meg pulled back and swallowed before whispering, “Do you think she heard us?”
He listened for a moment, and then shook his head. “Nope, thankfully she’s as deaf as a post. So, let’s make the most of our time alone.”
*
Meg fought the urge to cover herself when he glided her already open robe and her nightdress off her shoulders and down her arms. Even though she had been dieting for a couple of weeks and Sam said he loved all her girly curves, she was still a tiny bit self-conscious about being nude in front of him. Apparently oblivious to her concerns, he eased her night attire to the floor, along with her sensible cotton panties.
He cupped her breasts and smothered them with kisses. All thoughts about who was nude with whom and how they looked evaded her. She stifled a moan when he moved to trail kisses over her stomach and ever closer to her aching center. How the hell had they kept their hands off each other for a month?
“Sam?”
His voice sounded muffled as he kissed her heated mound. “Uh huh?”
“Have you been … been … been … oh … God … your tongue … I … have you been jacking off?”
A deep chuckle sent a wave of warm breath between her now parted thighs. “Nope, I’ve been saving myself for you.”
She buried her fingers in his hair and sucked air between her teeth when he finally teased her pulsing clit with the very tip of his tongue. If he did that many more times, she would teeter into the oblivion of orgasm before the wild stallion trotted out of his stall.
After one last flick of his tongue, he turned his attention to her feet. He slipped her sandals on, and then stood up. When he hooked his thumbs in the sides of his boxers, she grabbed at him.
“Stop. Mine.”
He grinned, put his hands behind his head rippling his pecs, and watched through hooded lids as she eased his rigid cock free, slipping his underwear to the floor.
At eye level with her heart’s desire, she couldn’t resist some teasing of her own. She wrapped her fingers around his steely shaft and softly licked at the sensitive skin just below the swollen head. His blood pulsed beneath her touch and she would swear to God his dick grew another inch.
With a growl, he pulled her to her feet and reached in to turn the shower taps on. Apparently happy the water was warm enough, he walked her backward into the shower cubicle and slid the glass door shut. His mouth stifled her squeal of complaint when her back hit the cool tile wall. Clearly, washing wasn’t on the agenda. Not that she was complaining. Being clean was overrated.
Sam’s kiss was bruising. All the pent up frustration of a month with no sex was in his kiss. She returned the rabid embrace with matching ferocity. If he didn’t get his cock inside her in the next twenty seconds, she would scream, Aunt Maud or no Aunt Maud. Desperate to consummate their illicit tryst, they fumbled madly like a couple of virgins. With a growl of protest, Sam dragged her left leg over his hip. With no more than a cursory slide of his fingers the length of her hot, wet slit, he positioned himself for entry.
Meg gasped for air, already on the brink of release, when a light bulb went on in her head. “Condom!”
Sam closed his eyes and fought for breath, his chest rising and falling as he leaned against her full breasts.
“They’re in my room. Have you got one?”
Meg groaned and shook her head. How could they have finally found a few minutes alone in a locked room and have no condoms? She stared into Sam’s eyes, dark with passion, and she reached between them and grasped his steely rod. “I don’t care. I’ve waited four weeks for this.”
Sam swallowed. “I’ll pull out before I come and you can finish me with your hand.”
This was madness. She knew enough about Sam’s sexual history to know she only risked one thing. Even without him coming inside her she could get knocked up, but right now she didn’t care. Meg nodded her agreement, and then her eyelids fluttered as he slid his cock home. They rocked together. He mapped her neck and face with his tongue and lips and she grabbed his butt, holding him tight to her as he lengthened his stroke and slipped ever deeper. Her pussy rippled with pent up need, welcoming the wild invader home. When he palmed the back of her thigh and slid his hand closer to her swollen, needy bud, she moaned into his mouth. One flick of his calloused fingertip sent her into spasms of near ecstasy and elicited a grunt of approval from her wet and wild lover. One more touch and she would orgasm. She knew Sam would never hold back, and she realized she didn’t want him to.
“Sam, I love you.”
“I love you too.” He kissed her fiercely, and she knew today could well be the day she made her mother’s life by conceiving her first grandchild.
“Meg? Meg?” Fists pounded on the door. “Meg, are you in there? I need to use the toilet. I think I’ve had a wet dream. Mr. Drabinski says he has them all the time. That’s why his trousers are always damp.”
Meg groaned with frustration. Not now, not when they were just about to … God, Sam was shrinking fast. His cock flopped out of her and she dropped to her knees with a moan of, “No, no,” intent on giving his manhood mouth to mouth.
Sam let out a growl and slammed his hand into the shower wall. “Give it up, Meg. She’s hell bent on ruining our lives.”
“Meg, who are you talking to?”
One last thing before we let you leave us. Do you have a favorite recipe you'd like to share? I like to cook and am always looking for new recipes to try and share but it's totally up to you.
A favourite recipe.
My favourite recipe requires no cooking what so ever.
Ginger Cream Pudding.
Ingredients.
A packet or Marie Biscuits
A can of Nestle Caramel
A tub of thick fresh cream
A tub of runny fresh cream
Stem ginger in syrup.
You layer the biscuits with caramel and thick cream and sprinkle with chopped ginger then cover with the runny cream and keep going until all the biscuits are gone. Leave in the fridge overnight and you have a gooey, gingery, caramel delight.

Our spotlight today is ....

Honey Jans
One Father. Two Mothers. Four siblings. One incredible night that will change them all forever.
Excerpt:
Charity rushed back to her office in the IT department, cheeks flaming. At least one of the Langford sisters was getting laid on a regular basis. But really, catching Chas and Justin making love in the executive washroom was just plain embarrassing. Even worse, it brought home to her the sex she wasn’t having. Now she was the one taking pains to keep her fantasy life private.
Passing her staff, she avoided eye contact only to come upon the immovable object of her guard dog, Lucas Kendal. The PI sat at a desk across from her office where he could keep an eye on her. The work she’d assigned him as a cover sat ignored. Instead, he read an issue of Sports Illustrated; no doubt the swimsuit issue. It was a wonder he hadn’t followed her into the ladies room.

Cheeks flaming anew, she quickly shut the door and locked it. Thank goodness, she had her mystery Laird to dim the flames. This sexual itch, combined with the series of hacking attacks she’d thwarted, threatened to drive her crazy. Ending the barrage of attacks with her fireball program had made enemies. The pissed off hackers sent death threats, prompting her father to hire Kendal, who made her want to knock him to the floor and do him. It was a vicious cycle, one she couldn’t break.
Throwing off those troubling thoughts, she peeled off the jacket of her business suit, loving the way her silk blouse felt against her bare skin, and rushed over to her computer, late for a date with her cyber Master. She had two hours until she had to leave for her staff’s annual weekend getaway to the IT conference. A weekend far away from her annoying babysitter would be wonderful. Maybe she could hook up with a charming stranger in Las Vegas, sow a few wild oats, and get this desire for sex out of her system.
She slipped into her desk chair and reached for the keyboard. Her excitement building, she logged on to the online sex site she’d discovered last week and looked for his screen name. Yes! He was there. Wolf. A thrill went through her. She logged on as Honey and put on her headset, saying softly, “I’m here, my Laird.”
“Follow me to our private room.”
She shivered, hearing his sexy rumble; a thick brogue that rushed over her like warm honey, making her cream as she imagined what was coming. Sex with a guy wearing a kilt -- now, that had kinky possibilities. With guilty pleasure, she murmured, “Yes, my Laird.” She could surrender to her online master, get off, and still maintain an illusion of icy reserve.
“How many times did you touch yourself today, Honey?”
His demand to know how many times she’d played with herself made her hesitate. Hell, the man wouldn’t know one way or another if she told the truth or a lie. After a tense moment, she let out a sigh of surrender. Here comes the Langford upbringing again…finish what you start and never lie to anyone about anything. Blushing, she confessed, “Six, my Laird.” His chuckle made her squirm in her chair; she was going to get punished. Good. She thought about the vibrator in her desk drawer; maybe he’d make her come three times in a row like last time.
“What a naughty girl not to wait for Master’s permission.”
His scolding echoed her thoughts. Why couldn’t she control herself? “I’m sorry, Sir.” She shivered with delight, getting into the secret fantasy.
“Did you obey my instructions, Honey?”
She brushed her bare breasts through her silk blouse, loving the free, sensual feeling of forgoing her usual bra and panties. “Yes, Laird, I’m not wearing underwear.”
He took in a deep breath. “Good girl. Unbutton your blouse for me and play with your pretty tits.”
“Yes, my Laird.” Her hands quickly flew to do his bidding, slipping the ivory buttons out of their buttonholes until her blouse hung open. The air conditioning wafted a cool breeze over her budding nipples. With a sigh of pleasure, she cupped her full breasts and fanned her fingertips over the puckered nipples, murmuring at the pleasure. “I’m playing with them, Laird.”
“Excellent. Imagine it’s my big hands touching them, getting your nipples hard.”
Closing her eyes, she pictured her mystery Laird, imagining her soft hands becoming his larger, harder ones, his rough fingertips rolling her stiff nipples. “My nipples are so very hard for you, Laird.”
“Now pinch them for me, Honey, a small punishment for being late.”
She pinched them firmly, whimpering at the erotic feeling.
“Good girl, now spread your legs and touch your pussy. Let me know if it’s wet for me.”
She leaned back in her big desk chair and spread her legs, her hand reaching under her skirt to touch her hot pussy. Her clit was stiff, her pussy quivering, and wet. She rubbed it, moaning. “I’m wet, Sir.”
“Good. Play with that bad pussy; make it nice and creamy for me, but don’t come.”
She stroked her wet slit, her thumb rubbing her stiff clit. She couldn’t hold back a moan as she got nearer to orgasm.
“Imagine it’s my hand touching you, my fingers slipping inside you, getting you ready to be loved.”
“Yes, my Laird. I’m imagining it’s you. When can we meet for real?” she asked, desperate for a taste of the real thing.
“When I think you’re ready, Honey, and not before.”
She groaned at his rejection, but it didn’t stop her hot response to his commands, or her growing need for him.
“Do you like the way it feels when my fingers slip inside you?”
She panted, her pussy clenching on her fingers as he spoke. “Oh yes, Laird, very much.”
“Now stop.”
Trembling on the brink of a huge orgasm, her fingers went still at his command. “Please, Sir.”
“No. You’re being punished for playing with yourself earlier. I’ll talk to you tomorrow.”
Charity moaned as he disconnected and tried to stop, but couldn’t. Her fingers plunged into her wet pussy, pretending they were her mystery Laird’s. Ripples gathered, and she exploded into orgasm. She was dimly aware of her office door opening as she came.
Lucas Kendal stood inside Charity Langford’s office doorway blocking anyone passing by from ogling his beautiful she-wolf mate in the throes of passion. Still shaken by the culture shock of being rescued by the Elite, only to have his half-brother Lash killed in the raid, he was still trying to get his bearings. The cyber sex he’d initiated to get her ready for mating had backfired, making him frustrated and horny as hell. Keeping his promise to take Lash’s place as Charity’s mate -- and not succumb to her charms -- was going to be harder than he’d thought. That wasn’t the only thing hard, he thought ruefully, his cock throbbing.
He'd protect her; teach her passion, and who she was before she dumped him. He was no more than a stud. Hell, he ought to be used to it after the Betas’ breeding farm. After the danger of the Blue Moon was past, her father would choose a more suitable husband for her, and he would move on, ever moving in the shadowy world of the Alphas. Still, he couldn’t help watching her in the throes of an orgasm he’d initiated.

What a naughty girl to disobey him and keep playing with herself. She was so exquisitely responsive; it was hard for him to restrain his animal instincts. He itched to take her over his knee in retribution and then make love to her until she couldn’t think straight. “Want me to take care of that for you, love?” he asked, working hard to keep the sibilant hiss of his Scot’s ancestry out of his voice. It wouldn’t do for her to guess that he and her Laird were one and the same. He watched her big violet eyes pop open.
Lucas smiled as her mouth formed a perfect “O” of shock, but true to her royal status, her dismay soon was replaced by an imperious glare.
“Who gave you a key to my office?” she demanded, quickly pulling her hand out from under her skirt and reaching for her blouse.
He kicked shut the door and held up his bare hands. “Look, love, no key. The door was unlocked.” He didn’t bother mentioning his fully developed skills gave him powers she’d never dreamed of. Opening a locked door was easy. He’d walk through fire to get to her and keep her safe. He closed the distance between them, noting her trembling hands as she buttoned her blouse. The lady wasn’t as unperturbed as she pretended to be. Good, it suited him to keep her off balance. “We need to talk about this weekend.”
“Save your breath, Kendal, I’m going.”
“Have it your way,” he murmured, focusing on her stiff nipples showing clearly through her silk blouse. “I’ll have to go with you.”
Noting the direction of his stare, she scowled and swiveled her desk chair so that her back was to him. She stood and put on her blazer. “I’ll see you at the airport, then.”
“It doesn’t work that way and you know it. I’ve arranged transport for us. I’ll be here to collect you in half an hour,” he said, walking out of the room. For all his sexual experience, he couldn’t help feeling like the vulnerable one.

Fierce Dolan
Welcome and great to have you here with us today!
What did you want to be when you were growing up or did you always want to be a writer?
I always wanted to be a writer. I had no interest in anything else, and no idea how little I would get paid!
When did you first start writing?
I first started writing before I learned the alphabet. My mother transcribed things that I dictated to her. I composed my first book at 6 years old, and it just grew from there. Writing is probably the one skill and interest that has persisted and grown throughout my life.
What is a typical writing day like for you?
I don’t have a typical writing day. I write all kinds of things professionally, different genres, but some days it comes more easily. Some days there’s a lot of staring into blank space. Some days there’s the furious accumulation of thousands of words in a brief period of time. It all seems to even out, but there’s definitely nothing typical about any of it.
Do you have any specific routine you follow or specific items you need with you when you write?
No, which is odd, because in other areas of life I’m a fetishist. I do require certain comforts and allies. For writing, I’m plug-n-play. It never turns off, I just have to devote time to sitting down and purging the words from my brain.
What is your favorite part of writing? Is there anything you don’t like about being a writer?
Writing is a very capricious thing, sort of a barometer for other life areas. I find that I have states of being and moods that determine what I can write at any given time, and how easily it comes out. I generally cycle with a couple of weeks of blissful, poetic composition, which seems to coincide with getting along well with others, butterflies wanting to be near me, my general life outlook being good. Then I’ll have a couple of weeks where I’m best at editing, crafting, layering, drawing bits together. These eras always coincide with being generally anti-social, grumpy, and additional coffee. It works, though. I call it Writing Brain vs Editing Brain. I’ve learned that forcing one during the era of the other is pointless. The synapses just aren’t there, and it’s only taken me 30+ years to figure that out…
What is your favorite length of book to write? (Short story, novella, full length novel) Why?
I don’t gauge the length of things as I’m writing them. I just write until I get there, then I’m done. Looking in the rearview, though, it would seem I’m most comfortable with novella-length projects, though I’ve written full-length novels, as well.
How does your family feel about your writing and you being an author?
They like it as long as it doesn’t interfere with the household, relationships, chores getting done, face-time, mood, sleep, other obligations, social availability, quality time…
Is there a to-be-read waiting on your bedside table?
There isn’t, actually. I’m quite caught up on my literature. The last thing I read was Killer in Sight, by Sandra Carrington-Smith, a murder/mystery thriller. I really enjoyed it.
For fun, I have a few personal questions,
Favorite 5
1) Favorite Holiday ~ Samhain, though Beltane is a close second. And the Solstices…2)Favorite Drink ~ Good, black coffee 3)Favorite Author ~ Several: Neil Gaiman, Storm Constantine, Dale Peck
4)Favorite Book ~ Several: Neverwhere, Wraeththu, To Kill A Mockingbird 5)Favorite Animal ~ I love cats. I don’t exactly have a favorite animal, but I get along with them best and seem to understand them best.
And for a bonus: What is a typical mood for you? And is your mood different when you’re writing?
I’m a pretty laid back person, very soothing and calm. If I’m able to write without interruption, I can maintain that demeanor. If I’m constantly getting interrupted, just stay back. It drives me nuts when I need to get in the groove and can’t because everything around me is chaotic.

About Gigolo Seduction

From Gigolo Seduction…
“Are your works always so intricate?”
She shakes her head, again scanning the tower, though my eyes stay on her. “Frescoes are always detailed and hard work, but this is way above and beyond. Layering in kinetic elements to give moving light and dimensional depth is my dream project come true. Most of my projects are just frescoes.”
“Just frescoes.” I laugh. “They’re noble and valiant relics in the art world.”
“They’re actually in high demand.” Her tone is matter-of-fact. “Though few people can afford them.”
“Well, you’ve outdone yourself here,” I affirm. Her smile is sincere, her pride evident, elegant, enchanting.
“It’s taken quite a long time to come together, and I’ve left the plasterer more than a little frustrated on several occasions.”
“I can’t imagine him staying angry for long….”
“They’ve given me deep creative license over the project, so that’s saved my ass a couple of times. It’s kind of mind-blowing to work on something so limitlessly funded.”
Our eyes lock for mere seconds and the silence is disturbing. “I was just going for a bite to eat. Would you care to join me?”
Cass nods. “I’d like to, but I need to finish this section. This medium doesn’t wait well.”
She’s genuinely interested and I want her to be. I want her to be as affected as I am. Before I can prod further she asks, “Maybe another time?”
Reluctantly, I follow her to the elevator. She opens it with a pass card attached to a cord coiled on the drawstring of her pants. My eyes linger on the brilliant green gem in her navel.
“What’s your name?”
“Asif,” I reply without hesitating. The sound is bare, like a secret revealed, though I don’t understand why. I always use my real name.
“Another time, Asif.”
The doors slide closed, and I agree.

Today we have the wonderful Evelyn Jules
with us for a guest blog....
Can't wait to hear what she has to tell us....
How many pick-up lines have you been fed in your life? I’ve had my fair share. Most of them were pretty laughable. In fact, my dating life in general has been rather laughable.
I met my first boyfriend in the recovery room of a hospital after he had his wisdom teeth removed. I was about fifteen but I remember his pick-up line like it was just yesterday. He said, “Heyyyyy, pretty girlllll” very incoherently on account of the excessive amounts of freezing in his mouth. I giggled like a school girl. “What’sss your phone nummmer?” I giggled more and wrote down my number for him on a napkin. I soon learned that the ‘loopy’ bit wasn’t just a side effect of the drugs.
When I was in grade six I had a huge crush on a boy named Kerry Gillis. During recess a bunch of my girlfriends ran up to him and told him I liked him. I was absolutely humiliated. Kerry’s locker was right next to mine. After recess we were standing at our respective lockers and Kerry said to me, “Is it true? Do you want to go out with me?” I stared at him. “Well?” he prodded. I finally opened my mouth and spoke words so inspiring they should have been set to music. “I…don’t know.” *cue awkward silence*
Why is dating so hard? Hell, I haven’t fared much better in my twenties, either. I was friends with a guy named Victor throughout most of my first degree at university. Then one day he decided he liked me. As in, liked me-liked me. We were walking along the wooded pathway to the university and I believe our conversation went something like this: Victor: Wanna come over tomorrow night? Me: Night? But we can’t play sports at night. Victor: *chuckles* I know. I’m going to cook for you. Me: Oh. Are we going to WATCH sports? Victor: I thought I’d take you to a movie. Me: Ohhh. Is this a date? Victor: *chuckles again* I think so. Me: Oh. *silently processes* What are you cooking?
The answer to that question was lobster. See, Victor could have been a keeper, but he followed up a fabulous lobster and garlic mashed potatoes dinner with a V for Vendetta movie date. Worst. Movie. Ever. I fell asleep twenty minutes into it. Poor Victor. We might still be together if he’d rented Victor/Victoria instead.
In my new release, Blind Faith (now available!), Adrian literally picks up Faith before she hits the snowy sidewalk. Smooth move, wouldn’t you say?
Here’s the blurb:
Faith Lawson is just your average, wholesome librarian with a dirty mind…until a chance encounter with a handsome stranger brings her fantasies to life in a frantic night of passion. But when he walks out her door, he leaves a piece of his past behind that changes everything.
So, tell me, what’s the most memorable pick-up line you’ve been fed?
