Manly Footwear:

What I’d totally name the punk rock band I’m never gonna form because I’m tired and need a nap.

I find it weird that it’s by such a large margin too.

I wonder how much of Bernie’s margin is “it’s early and more of The Base is really invested enough to take the poll” and how much of it is that people who watched actually thought he was better than Hillary by a factor of 7:1.

Personally, I think they both did well.  It was brutally evident the entire time why the 3 guys who can’t beat the margin of error are where they are.  They’ve all got that same quality that every Republican except for Jeb and Trump has where it sounds like they’re improvising badly in the language of politics as opposed to using the language of politics to communicate.  If you took the head of the Young Democrats and the head of the Young Republicans from most high schools and put them on either debate stage, they’d probably automatically be in the top 3 just based on how shitty and ineloquent nearly all these candidates are.  Like, 70-90% of the time there’s only a tangential link between their cadence/inflection and their meaning and it makes it feel like they’re waiting for a guy in their head to come up with the next cue card as opposed to speaking from anyplace real.

small sample size, but on Fox News after the debate, they had a focus group of 27 democrats. By a show of hands, probably 80% of them were HC supporters before the debate. Nearly all of them were converted to Sanders by the end.

Clinton did alright, but for me, it’s really hard to accept “oops” on Iraq.

Yeah, I mean, I was a teenager when they were doing the runup to Iraq and I knew it was bullshit and that it was basically only going over because of racism.   I think it’s less a matter of, “Oh, they fooled me to.” and more a matter of, “I have no sense of right and wrong outside of political cost/benefit analysis.  I’m not sorry I did it, I’m sorry it didn’t make me look good.”

The media drives the matter. Bernie will be marginalized throughout the campaign, in whatever way possible, through selective reporting, whatever. Bernie is the loose cannon on the Democrat side and will be sunk by the media however possible, the media who have chosen Hillary. I may not agree with Bernie's “the government will take care of you and you and you and, yay! EVERYONE!” philosophy, but I respect the man because he’s a man of conviction and passion and integrity and will never in a million years be allowed access to the White House, except maybe as a guest.

The same exact shit is true for Trump. Again–we are not talking politics. We are talking their outlier, we are talking anti-establishment.

I don’t know who’s going to be president and I don’t care. I am opposed the presidency. But I can tell you right now it sure as shit ain’t gonna be Bernie or Trump.

It’s gonna be somebody completely beige, somebody “kinda” and “sorta” and the status quo is going to march on yada yada yada.

I just bought some preferred stock, a first for me, and I expect to be treated preferentially. I'm tired of being a part of the great unwashed masses.

I want a daily foot rub and someone to do my laundry, even my skidmarked delicates. I want someone to make my morning, mid-morning, late-morning, early afternoon, mid-afternoon, late-afternoon, early evening, mid-evening, and late evening tea for me.

Most importantly, however, I want it to be able to provide enough dividend income to continue my tea habit because Jesus H. Christ I drink a lot of tea.

Now you really will have to read it for the articles.

Playboy is eliminating nudity in its magazines, I just learned. Don’t know why, but that made me laugh.

Also, starting January 1st, GM will begin selling cars without motors and all homes on the planet will be constructed without roofs, doors, walls, or floors (I understand they will be quite affordable).

I haven’t looked at a Playboy in a hundred years. I remember there was a pretty, big-breasted girl sitting nude on a saddle-less horse, bringing a whole new dimension to the term “bareback”.

Hugh Hefner broke ground publishing naked chicks. Before Hugh, you could find pictures of naked chicks, but you had to work at it. He made naked chicks mainstream. Now that he is an addled old man wandering around his endless mansion in silk pajamas, the empire of naked chicks he created has come full circle.

Playboy removing nudity from its pages may be a brilliant move. We live in an age when hairless, saliva-covered porn is free and universal, pumped right into our homes for anyone to see, even kindergartners. It’s like how water comes out of the tap or electricity out of the outlet. Porn comes out of the internet. Since it’s completely free, it’s a much better deal than electricity or water, though.

Maybe their marketing will be how they’re “different”. Different, as a product, works for a lot of people. There is a very large group of people who buy things just because they are different. Maybe, these people incorrectly think, if I buy something different, that means I’m different.

LOL. What a good little consumer!

Even though Playboy was the first falling domino in the complete pornification of American culture, they didn’t follow their competitors down into the sewer. Their naked chicks were always “tasteful”. You would never see one with a zucchini in her ass, which I’m sure you could find this instant with a single Google search.

For free.

You could even put parameters on it. “Naked chick with a zucchini in her ass getting spanked by a giant black dude while she performs oral sex on a Mr. Rogers look-alike”.

Isn’t America great (and totally healthy, especially mentally and spiritually)? Thank you, Hugh!

But I don’t know why Playboy is removing naked chicks from its pages or how they’re going to spin it. It seems to me they’ve just turned themselves into yet another pop culture rag aimed at people who appreciate occasional journalistic excellence and constant liberal groupthink.

Yeah, we need another one of those.

SOUTHERN GUY

First off: he doesn’t cuss. We all work in a very manly situation, unloading and accounting for extremely heavy things. Things like 40 pound boxes of bananas, and 50 pound boxes of squash.

We have to lift this shit over and over.

Produce. It’s man’s work.

So we got this Southern Guy, hired and squared away. We were under the impression that he would actually fucking work.

We had him about two weeks and he was calling off work.

His back hurt.

He didn’t have a ride.

Can you, Mike, give me a ride?

Can you, Mike, work for me?

No!

My experience with a Southern Man is that he’s giant fucking baby.

The accent is charming, though…..
