So, the dentist today. Boo.
I'm a rabid anti-dentite. Next thing you know I'll be saying they should have their own schools.

In a big Elliott Smith discussion.
We all agree he is a genius, if not a musical god. Debate rages back and forth between suicide and homicide.
Current status: From A Basement On A Hill
Sometimes I like to get drunk and play country music.
Ok, quite a bit. But only REAL country music. Like old stuff or underground stuff. That manufactured ersatz shit coming out of Nashville these days is enough to make person actually go and listen to Hip Hop.
Current status: Willie Nelson.
Leaving This Town Blue ~ The Longtime Goners: PLAY
You wouldn't believe how fucking quick-witted I am.
It's mind-boggling.
And I wonder why it is only our minds are ever boggled?
Can something be knee-boggling?
I have had two women in my life who have been cock-boggling,
but that's another story.
People come up to me and say mealy-mouthed shit all the time
like blah blah blah rain forest
and I say burn that bitch down
and build more casinos
and Taco Bells
and strip malls
and then I drink swiftly another beer
as they pretend to be insulted
or offended
and I say to them after burping loudly
go be cosmically bored somewhere else.
This is where the nihilist plays.
Or sometimes people will disagree with what I say
and it's like why bother?
I don't mean it.
I don't mean anything.
Go be cosmically bored somewhere else.
This is where the nihilist plays.
And there was that time
I was encouraging all those kids to take drugs
and skip school
and these adults came up to me
in their sensible shoes
and appropriate dress
and accused me of being irresponsible
and they're right,
I am.
Who the fuck wants to be responsible?
Whenever something goes wrong
they always ask who's responsible for this?
Not me.
I'm irresponsible.
Kindly remove your thumb from your ass
and take your phony indignation somewhere else.
This is where the nihilist plays.
Sometimes I meet people
and they're passionate about something.
They're like passionate about ______
and it doesn't really matter what
because it's just a rock
put into the hole
that is the mind
so it don't feel
so empty.
But it is empty and it is just a rock.
I might be all dick and no balls
but I got sack enough to fill that hole with nothing
but twisted screaming laughter and hysterical tear-drenched wailing.
I'm still clutching the outside world as I lay in a pool of my own loss.
Or is it a pool of my own urine I'm laying in?
It doesn't matter.
This is where the nihilist plays.

Former Minnesota governor and Navy SEAL, Jesse Ventura says he...

Former Minnesota governor and Navy SEAL, Jesse Ventura says he has lost his patriotism and will be applying for Mexian citizenship. He called the U.S. "the Fascist States of America", which, of course, it is.
Is there any other way to see it?
Anyway, this all stems from the fact that he was felt up, fondled, and molested by the TSA while trying to board a commercial plane, even though he isn't a young child or a woman with big hooters. He sued, hoping to get the the TSA to stop groping the youngest as well as most attractive Americans, plus himself, but to no avail. His case was thrown out today on a technicality.
"I will never stand for a national anthem again. I will turn my back and I will raise a fist," he said.
Welcome to the club, Jesse.

Was it? I didn't think it was real when I read it. I did find a few tropes that really stood out to me, though. Like about time and death and whatnot. @.@ kinda makes me wanna pick your brain and see what you were thinkin' bout when you wrote it :]
Yeah, it's probably the most autobiographical thing I ever wrote. I'm not sure what I was thinking when I wrote it. It was pretty visceral.
The Approaching Black Void. We have to go through and get our own interpretations and use all these different literary terms like tropes and discourse and all that. I felt like I had to share this with you :].
How cool. If it helps, that's a true story :)
I know you probably don't want to know this, but I'm using one of your short stories from EOoN for an English paper for college X]. I think it'll be fun.
Oh, my god REALLY? Cool. Which one? I find this fascinating.
