Six Sentence Sunday

Hello all!!
This week's SSS is all about the conflict... nothing spices up a relationship like the the sizzle of a good old fashions argument... Revenge may be best served cold,  but make up sex is always best served...HOT!

"Understand? Are you kidding me?" The worrisome pinch on his face from before transformed and his jaw clenched rigid. He was no longer concerned, he was angry.
"I'm sorry."
"No, you're not!" he boomed. "This is classic Jules."
(sorry, guys, I had to go over one teensy-weensy sentence...but it was only ONE word) Hope you all...ahem, "UNDERSTAND"! LOL!

Lila Munro & BethAnn Buehler

Today we bid adieu to this week's wonderful guests, Lila Munro and BethAnn Buehler.
This has been a great week and we aren't quite done. Our friends have left us two juicy excerpts and be forewarned, they are HOT!
I won't keep you waiting. Enjoy one finale taste of Force Recon: Samolia...

****WARNING: ADULT CONTENT****
Alli's Excerpt:
"Blue hippo," she snapped at the sight ofthe woman being held in the submersion tank by her Dom. Her creamy breasts pressedagainst the glass and she struggled. "Blue hippo, Sir. Not this. Please don'tmake me watch this," Alli begged writhing under his touch, trying to turn back.

Cord drew her against his chest and turnedher head away. "Okay. That's all I needed to know. Let's go sit a while."He led her back down the walk way andbehind a sheer curtain where Kyle sat with Haley at his feet and Jill wasbetween Steph's legs. Taking an enormous leather chair adjacent to the plushcouch that Kyle occupied, Cord looked up and without further prompting Allifell to her knees and allowed him to ease her between his thighs, laying herhead on one of them. Without a word he motioned to Emilio who skittered awaythen he mindlessly ran his fingertips through her spikey black hair. Alli'sgaze never left the floor as the familiar comfort of being tended to floodedher system.Alli burrowed further between Cord's legsand wedged her head further up to rest at the juncture where his hip met hisgroin. Emilio came back into view carrying a bottled water, a Heineken and asmall tray filled with condoms in brightly colored wrappers. Flavored condoms.Alli's favorite had always been orange crème. It reminded her of a dreamsicleand made going down on a cock very pleasurable. Although, she had to admit, she'd always enjoyed the raw feel of a rigid cock sliding down her throat andthe warm spurt of cum flowing into her mouth. Her heart palpitated when sherealized Cord's cock strained against his jeans. "Master Cord," she whispered."What is it, sweetness?" he asked, strokingone finger down her cheek. "Are you thirsty? Cold?""No, Sir. I'd like to…" she hesitatedunsure of what exactly she did want. There was no sex. In this world, however, that meant no penetration. I didn't omit oral sex. "May I take care of that foryou, Sir?"Cord raised her head and looked at her, studying her for a minute. "Are you sure, Alli?" he asked, framing her face."It would please me more than you know, but I don't expect anything you're notready for.""I'm sure, Sir. Please let me," Alli saidturning to face him, raising up and sending her slender fingers up the front ofhis jeans. His eyes stayed steady on hers as she undidhis belt. She unbuttoned his fly and reached in running her hand over hisboxers before pulling the band down and releasing his erection. As it sprangfree she sucked in a breath before leaning over and running her tongue thelength of him, pulling the bulbous head between her lips. She started down onhim her gaze going with her only to have him stop her and correct her action."Look at me, sweetness. Don't look away. Iwant to see your eyes," Cord told her, drawing her face back up.Alli nodded then rose up higher and tookhim clear to the back of her throat, inhaling through her nose so as not togag. It'd been a long time since she'd done this and even longer since she'ddone if for Cord. She forgot the man went on for what seemed like forever. "Stop just a minute, sweetness," hecommanded pulling her head back."But, Sir…" she tried to protest."Not tonight, Alli. I'll take what you'regiving me, but it'll be on my terms," Cord told her rolling a bright orangecondom down his twitching cock then guiding it back over her lips, pushing herhead down until she was forced to swallow to take any more of him. "Good," hehissed, pulling her jaw down. "Wider, sweetness. Take it all."Alli did as she was toldand sent her head down until her nose touched Cord's rock hard stomach. He heldher there until she couldn't breathe then raised her up and plunged into hermouth again. For several thrusts this game went on until Cord pushed up andpulled her down at the same time and growled, shuddering in her mouth. Allicould feel his warm cum even through the condom, but it wasn't the same thingas having it spilled out over her tongue.

Brogan's Excerpt:
For thefirst time in his adult life, Brogan Baker cared enough about someone not toscratch an itch and leave.  Taking justenough time to unbuckle his belt, Brogan freed his throbbing cock and thought about the fact that he wanted to take herbare, nothing between them but her trust and his will to succeed at changetheir lives. Alli thought she needed pain, he got that.  She was a God damn broken record aboutit.  And maybe before that's all sheallowed to work for her because she so ferociously guarded making any realconnection with a man Kyle might deem unworthy. Alli might need pain, but somewhere deep inside her, she cravedintimacy, connection.  Brogan knewit.  She was far too needy not to want tobelong rather than to just feel.  Hedoubted very seriously she was the type to get off on being tied to a St.Andrew's cross and stared at in the middle of a room all night.  No way that was her.  As Brogan made her tell him yes one more timeand did a final gut check, he intended to find out for sure. "Tell me yes.  Just one word, Alli.  That's all I need to hear."

"Please don't leave me Brogan. Not here.Yes." Thanking God for the different in theirheights, Brogan used his advantage over her to tug on the chain that held herdistended nipples captive one more time before entering the tight, wet heat ofher small body, working fast to fully seat himself and connect with her in away he hadn't enjoyed in far too long. He didn't give her time to adjust or ease in to it, knowing that if itwas pain she really sought, she wouldn't need it. Removing himself from her was painful butBrogan did so quickly, given her no time to get comfortable.  As much as he needed to find his own release,he needed to capture her mind more. Tugging on the chain again, Brogan slammed into her knocking them bothforward before catching each of the clamps in quick succession and removingthem so that nothing stood between them but themselves. Hearing her scream and not caring that he wasbeing a bastard about it, Brogan gave her just a second to find some sort ofcenter before grabbing a handful of her breast and squeezing past the point heknew was pleasurable.  "Now it'sjust us, babe.  All me, all you, nogimmicks," Brogan taunted, taking a turn at her other breast, holding herclose to his body as she writhed and bucked as he rode her small frame. "I've heard about what you need until I'msick of it, Alli.  Needs a funny thingthat way.  It seems to alwayschange."  Brogan took  a deep breath and let go of her breast, grabbing her hips with both of his large, somewhat shaky hands. This was it.One of his last two options to endear her to him forever.  Exhaling and saying a little prayer, Broganflipped Alli on her back in one fluid motion and pinned her to the ground, still seated deep within her.  "Idon't change, Alli.  I'm that same hardass bastard that wants it my way today that you'll get tomorrow.  So you have a choice.  Stay with your needs or trust me to do thismy way.  To change both our lives."  Brogan pulled back and didn't give her tendertissue a moment to relax before invading her again, determined that he wasn'tstopping or finding his own release until she was well past the edge of her ownreason.  "Who am I, Alli?  Look at me and tell me who I am to you?"Brogan demanded. "Brogan. Mine," Alli breathed, clutching his arms. "Tell me what you want, Alli.  One word, babe. Just say that one little wordand it's yours." "You," Alli moaned. Rocking into her body, unwillingly to faileither of them, Brogan stayed with Alli until he felt her pussy clench aroundhis cock in the tightest grip he'd had the pleasure of knowing.  Waiting until he knew she was there, Broganburied himself again her and rolled with her, holding her tight against hischest as she shattered in his arms.            Meeting her release with his own,Brogan gave her all of him, filling her womb with his very soul, consequencesbe damned.  For the first time in hislife Brogan Baker was certain he was in love.

Lila Munro & BethAnn Bueher

Happy Hump Day Everyone!!
Wednesdays are great aren't they? I kinda like 'em!
I really like this particular Wednesday and I'll tell ya' why...
Because my guests Lila Munro and BethAnn Buehler are still around and sharing more great stuff!! Which means lots more fun for everyone!!
Today we're getting a double dose of excerpts...one from Alli and one from Brogan, the two terrific characters from Force Recon:Somalia we met yesterday. So sit back and enjoy!!

After surviving the vacation from hell in Beacon Bayou, the ForceRecon team finds themselves one relationship, one fiancé, one child, and onemarriage more than before they left Camp Lejeune for leave. But before theyhave a chance to process how a few days so completely changed their lives, they're called away to Somalia, a hot bed of pirate activity. Theirmission--rescue an embedded female marine taken prisoner. Being a female marine isn't easy for Allison Blaise. Choosing alife that's all about proving herself worthy of being one of the few and theproud right alongside her male counterparts, Alli volunteers for every specialassignment that comes down the pipeline.  This time that "go-to"attitude has landed her a stay as a prisoner to a few unsavory Somalipirates.  After watching her four man extraction team be virtuallydestroyed before her eyes, Alli finds herself inexplicably drawn to the teamleader, Brogan Baker. But that part of her that would normally heel to aDominant man's been damaged, and she fears it may be permanent.  Eric Ryan, AKA Chaos, has only been with the team a few weeks whenhe realizes he's got a few problems on his hands. Not only is he replacing adead man, he's vying for control of a team whose current leader knows all hisdirty little secrets. While he'd like to be topped by the man in charge heknows it's probably impossible and Eric's discovered something in him isattracted to the woman attached to Brogan's side every waking minute.  With their team in a constant state of change and under duress,Aaron finds himself struggling to accept the notion that he's worth being lovedand unable to impress his soon to be grandfather -in-law.  Worse, he can'tshake the guilt that's haunted him ever since the botched rescue in Somalia. ButAaron's not the only one with problems. Gabe thought his life was under controluntil Ros reveals yet another secret, one he's so distracted by he almostdoesn't survive the trip home from Somalia.  A secret Ros may not surviveeither.Just when they thought they were strong enough to make it throughanything, the Force Recon team is once again faced with enough to either makethem or break them.
From Alli'sstory:"Come in," she barely spoke, staring at the same spot on the wall she had for God only knew how long.It was ironic really. She'd beenwithout a measure of time for weeks and now that she was here, she still didn'tknow the time and it was unnerving. Without a way to tell the time, she didn'teven know how long she'd been here. Not much different from what she'd beendoing. Waiting on time to pass. Alli heard footsteps but never botheredglancing up to see who was coming. She just lay there curled up until twoenormous thighs still wrapped in dirty black material met her line of vision.  When she mustered the nerve, she looked upand there he was. The Gunny that had carried her outof that house of horror stood there looking at her and as Alli met his eyes sheshuddered. She could tell he seemed to think he could keep his eyes veiled, butAlli could read them. There was so much Dom sparking in them that Alli's breathcaught and a tiny sliver of fear ran up her spine. She wasn't afraid of him,but of what he could manage to make her do if their situation was different.True she was submissive to the core, but she'd never completely given herselfto anyone. Her body, okay. Her mind, rarely. But never heart and soul, andsomething in this one's eyes told her that if given half a chance, he'd stealthat from her in a Dixie minute. "Got a minute," he asked, actinglike he wasn't sure what to do with himself or his hands. They worked at hissides as if he fought the urge to reach out and touch."That's about all I have left,Gunny," Alli whispered. "Time." She adjusted a bit and pushed up then clearedher throat. "That Corpsman? Did he?""He did. And he's in surgery," hetold her much to her relief. "Brogan Baker," he said with a crooked half smile."Sorry it's under these circumstances, but nice to meet you.""I'm Allison Blaise," sheanswered, taking his hand and almost flinching when he squeezed and ran a thumbover the back of hers. "I prefer Alli." She eased her hand out of his and tooka breath. "So, the death toll due to Alli's stupidity is at one presently," shegritted out, running her hands over her face and through her pixie hair thatneeded trimmed and probably looked more like a troll right now. "Hasn't theCorps figured out by now that sometimes one isn't worth the trouble of a few?" She said it bitterly knowing thatshe'd wished for help repeatedly every damn time she heard a plane go over forweeks. Then that help came and it was a complete disaster. Proof positive oneshould watch what they wish for."We are a man down," Brogan said."But you're safe and that's all that counts."Alli sighed and a single tearrolled down her cheek as she watched the man run his hands through his stilldusty hair. She swiped the tear away and grabbed a quick peek at Brogan's eyesagain seeing something so completely daunting she lowered them again. Sheground her jaw aggravated that every single instinct in her demanded she heelto this man. Then his words absorbed. Safe. Was she?
Brogan's Story: Brogan tried like hell not to do it, resistingthe urge to think about pulling Alli over his knee while she was going on aboutall that release this, release that, trust bullshit.  Brogan heard it a million times from MistressAnne.  And it wasn't that Alli waswrong--she wasn't.  Sometimes there wasnothing that soothed the soul like the sting of release, a bloom of feelingthat started as a slow burn and ended in an inferno that was fire to the sensesand salve for the wound yet didn't leave a scar.  He didn't want to be the kind of man that hadto have the last word but fuck it all if he could do it.  He absolutely couldn't let Alli insinuatethat she dabbled in the lifestyle and actually needed to be dominated withouttaking a stab at getting the last word. Pulling into her neighborhood now, Brogancounted at least ten reasons why this was a bad idea.  First off, it was early and she was probablystill in bed, although thinking it over, Brogan couldn't really see thenegative in that one.  She'd been hurt atthe hands of men that wanted to destroy her--that was a big one.  And then there was Brogan himself.  He only counted for at least half of thereasons turning Alli over his knee was a horrible decision. Throwing his Rover in park in the middle ofher driveway, Brogan sat dead still, unable to move. "Go away, Daddy," Alli cried. "I'mfine. I was fine the last time, I'm fine today and I'll be fine tomorrow. It'szero fucking dark thirty--go away!" Daddy? Good lord!  That certainly wasn'ta word Brogan expected to hear when he stepped on Alli's front porch andstarted knocking on her door. "I'm not your father, Alli," Brogansaid, trying to stop his mind from wandering down that path, never once wantinga woman to call him daddy. "What the fuck are you doing here,Gunny?" she said spearing him with a hateful stare. Wishing he hadn't said a word, Brogan stared ata bed headed Alli and prayed for a hole in the porch decking to just swallowhim whole. Alli started to slam the door in his face whenhe reached out and put both hands on the edge of it. "No one sent me.  You can put away the claws," Broganmentioned, noticing Alli was clenching the doorframe white knuckled as hestopped it from slamming in his face. "What do you want?" she growled, wrestling with the door. "Why do you keep tracking me down and makingme..." Alli slapped her mouth shut. Brogan stepped through the door not caring thatAlli didn't want him there.  For themoment, nothing mattered to him but showing one clearly lost little girl shecould find what she needed with him if she'd stop playing games long enough tosee what was standing right in front of her. "What do you think you're doing?"Alli cried when Brogan pushed her back into the living room and shut the doorbehind him. "Do you always go around early in the morning breaking andentering at will where ever you please?" Caught flat footed with a woman for the firsttime in years, Brogan honestly didn't know which way to go.  Staring at Alli in little more than atattered sleep shirt sans underwear, he was certain she'd be easy to seduce. And seeing the way she always stopped short with what she wanted to say anddiverted her eyes, she'd clearly been trained long enough that if Brogan toldher to hit the floor, she'd probably go with little hesitation.  But as much as trying to woo her didn'tappeal to him, neither did humiliating her. Brogan had never warmed to the idea of having a slave in any sense.  In fact, if anything, he wanted more of aplaymate, a full contact, no holds barred lover that didn't always stopshort.  Going a few rounds with Alli, whetheron the mat at the gym or over coffeeat the kitchen table, turned Brogan on more than the thought of her on herknees in front of him.

Lila Munro & BethAnn Buehler

If yesterday was a treat, then today will be a full blown delight!Help me welcome back authors Lila Munro and BethAnn Buehler as they introduce us to Allie Blaise and Brogan Baker from Force Recon: Somalia.
Welcome Allison. Welcome Brogan. We're thrilled you could visit with us today.
Could you tell us a little bit about your world?
We live in a fairly exclusive world that involvesMarine Corps Special Ops. Not many people understand our way of life and thereare few of us so we stick together and are a pretty tight family. We alsoembrace a few alternative lifestyles. You might say we're a mini-melting pot ofacceptance. Some of us are straight, some are not, and more than a couple areinto the BDSM scene, and one of our cohorts engages in a poly-relationship.Yep, definitely a melting pot.
**Brogan, is expressing love difficult for you? Why?
It is actually because I don't have a good filteron the intensity I bring to the party when I deal with people.  I have two speeds, on and off. Most people, and women in general I think, take a lot of middle band width and that's a zoneI just don't work in.  Needless to say, that means I spend a fair amount of time apologizing to the people closest tome, when I let them in at all.
Alli, share a little bit of the 'real' you with ourreaders. Any dark secrets?
The real me…I was raised by my dad and five olderbrothers, all of whom are Marines. I got into the lifestyle when my oldestbrother's club card fell out of his pants when I was doing laundry and Irealized that dark part of me that I couldn't identify might be explainedthere. So, I went, and demanded to be let in and that's when Master Kyle tookme in…my darkest secret, well, you're going to have to read to find that out.
**Brogan, what does your significant other thinkabout your adventures? And how do they deal with it?
My family loves that I serve my country but theyworry and my mom is a bit of a hover copter even though I'm grown andgone.  I guess that never wears off.  Women I've dated in the past have fallen bythe wayside, but honestly that was more because of me and my personality thanmy job.  As readers may know by now, thelast person I thought might be a long term partner is no longer in mylife.  As for Alli, I'm just hoping Idon't let her down.  She needs constantreassurance that she's number one and I have to confess, when I'm trying not toget killed, my mind doesn't automatically go there.  **looks to Alli**  Don't get mad, honey.  I was just trying to be honest.
Alli, if you were brought into this world, whatwould be your first order of business?
Go to Sw…**looks at Brogan**, no not that…give Lilaa hug for introducing to Brogan.
**Brogan, have you ever lost control?
Every day.  Ihave a class A temper and I'm prone to slam doors, bang my fist on the counterand throw things.  **looks at Alli**  That's probably the biggest difference I'veexperienced having a relationship with a man vs. a woman.  I was a lot less likely to worry about how Iacted, letting it all hang out I guess you'd say, before I met Alli.
**A question for both of you. How many sex partnershave you had? How many at one time?
Alli: I…uh…Brogan, is it okay if I answer that?**Brogan nods with Dom authority** Before I met Brogan I was brought into theBDSM lifestyle and basically raised by two Masters at Steele Image. They keptme sequestered, waiting for the right Dom to come along to turn me over to.But, I had several partners in the meantime. Honestly, I would have to say afew…dozen. And how many at once? **shooting eyes to floor** Steele is a prettyliberal place, as many as Master Cord and Master Kyle saw fit. However, nowthat Brogan is the only Dom I answer to, it's one…him. He does not share. Well, except for that time I was such a brat that Master Steph had to beat someanswers out of me for him…but that wasn't so much sharing as it was aninterrogation.
**Brogan: Do I have to answer this?  **Pulls at collar of black t-shirt**  I'm a one partner player.  Always have been.
**For Alli and Brogan, what's the kinkiest thingyou've done? Stupidest? Craziest?
**Brogan: Seriously, our government has a great 5th amendment thing going forit.  The kinkiest would be my lastrelationship--I have to say I never thought I'd try that.  The stupidest thing I've ever done was walkaway from someone who genuinely needed my help in the heat of the moment.  The craziest would be thinking I could makesomeone something they aren't.
Alli: Kinkiest and stupidest can probably be rolledinto one…I must confess, there's not much I haven't done and most of it Ienjoyed. I've been tied up, tied down, suspended, whipped, clamped...
Alli, where do you see yourself in five years?
Living with Brogan and raising our children. Andwith luck we won't be living in danger anymore.  **Brogan, what's the one thing you wish you couldchange about yourself or someone you love?
**Smiles at Alli** I'd give Alli my self-confidence. We're working on that...
Alli, how do you deal with stress?
Not very well, actually. Living the lifestyle isabout more than physical contact and playing on the weekends for me. I have tobe grounded. And that is part of my stress management. When I feel like theworld is spinning out of control, Brogan has to reel me back in. What I needfor him to do varies from a simple touch all the way to taking me to sub-space.He had a hard time with that at first, but we're working on it.
**Brogan, tell us about the night you witnessedAlli for the first time in Steele Image and she was engaged in, um…oral sexwith a man named Cord.
**Growl's out loud**  I didn't think it was her, just someone whoresembled her.  When she looked up atCord and started playing with a creamsicle condo, I spilled my drink and fellout of the chair I was sitting in taking a small potted tree and a sheercurtain with me.  Then I ran out like a madman.
Alli, tell us about how you met Brogan. Iunderstand you were a POW?
The first time Isaw Brogan he was picking me up out of cage in a prison, the second time I sawhim I was in a hospital bed…Not much for a beginning, huh? The next time I sawhim he spanked me senseless.
BethAnn and Lila would love to hear from you. You can find them all over the place.

Questions and Answers:
How did you feel when you got your firstpublishing contract?

Elated, scared and skeptical. It was an immense thrillto see that contract land in my inbox, however, it then occurred to be that mywork would be out there for the entire world to scrutinize and that wasterrifying. What the hell had I done? Then skepticism set in as unlike most writersI hit it on the first try out of the gate. This told me two things, either Iwas that good, or the publisher may have been desperate for releases. I'vefound out since then I may have been that good in that publisher's eyes but Ihad a ways to go and have spent the last eighteen months learning from mymistakes and honing my skills.
How do you categorize yourself: pantser orplotter?
A little of both I suppose. I start out with thisgreat plan and timeline, and I have notes and everything all in a row, then atsome point during the creative process, my characters get the wise idea thatthey are in control and there goes the plan and all of a sudden I'm flying bythe seat of my flaming drawers. With my husband anywhere. Some seedy motel for all Icare…seven months is a long ass time to be separated and we have seven to gobefore this deployment is over. Do you have another career besides writing? What is it? Yes I do. Meet BethAnn Beuhler:

My worldrevolves around my family, my friends, and my love of writing. When I'm notworking on my next story, I can most often be found having breakfast at a localrestaurant with my parents, enjoying a caramel latte with my girlfriends orneglecting my responsibilities as a wife and mother because I'm thinking aboutmy next story. Jeans can be worn for a week if you don't spill anything, right? And Spaghettio's are fine for dinner most nights, aren't they? Does anyonereally notice dust on the baseboards? If you do, either don't come over ordon't tell me!
I write romancewith an erotic bent and get most of my ideas from talking with my friends aboutwhat everyone really wants for Christmas---the perfect mate. Of course we allknow people like that don't actually exist, but it's certainly fun to createthem on paper!
I love music and would probably need therapy if I ever lost my iPod. When I'mnot writing, I enjoy the occasional hobby such as digital scrapbooking, cardmaking, reading, and playing tennis. As for TV, I count Army Wives and Gleeas two of the best shows out there but need a dose of Man vs. Wild and The DogWhisperer thrown in every once in a while.
I'm a proudwinner of the 2009 NaNoWriMo challenge and a member of the IndianapolisWriter's Group as well as the Romance Writers of America, Indiana Chapter. Ilive on the north side of Indianapolis with my awesome husband, gorgeous littleboy and two rotten Silky Terriers.
Questions and Answers:    What has been your biggest influence onbecoming a writer?  I'd have tosay my love of the written word.
How did you feel when you got your firstpublishing contract?
I criedlike a two year old for about a minute then started emailing everyone I couldthink of that knew what I was trying to accomplish so we could celebrate. How do you categorize yourself: pantser or plotter?    Total last minutepantser. What makes a book great in your eyes?  I'mall about the man versus himself struggles in life and how people overcome andfind their way.  I love the underdog andI love a good love story.  Someone thatcan take all that and tie it together well impresses me.        What is the biggest piece of your advice youcan give a beginning writer?   You have to put yourself out there.  You have to keep trying.  Letting go of something you've written isliterally asking for the world to judge you. While none of us like being judged, it's a necessary evil.  Do you have any guilty pleasures?   Reading (when I should be writing)!  I also play tennis, scrapbook my son's life, manage the PTO at his school and sneak into my studio to craft as timepermits.  Name one thing readers don't know about you.  I'm dreadfully afraid of the dark. What are you working on now?  Force Recon 3 is underway and Broken Identityis still waiting. Who is your favorite all-time author?   Seriously--I have to list three:  Robyn Carr, Maya Banks and Lora Leigh Are love scenes easy/difficult to write?   It depends on how technical or how fetishthey are.  Research is key here and Iwill admit, I have to be in a certain mood to write my softer, sexyscenes.  Same goes for a fightscene.  If someone makes me mad, Iguarantee my characters are going to fight when I write that day. How do you deal with the dreaded writer'sblock?  While I write every day, I don't work on everywork in progress I have going every day. This summer my son has been home so I've been a mom first and a writersecond.  There are days when I don't getmuch more done than research, which might include studying the origins of acharacter's name or the setting (town) where my stories are set.  Some days the words can be hard to find.  When I struggle with that, I read.To date, which is your favorite story? Whichone did you have the most fun writing?  Broken Together was the hardest to writebecause of the foundation that had to be built to create the series.  It was also where I began my research intothe BDSM lifestyle.  Broken Destiny wasthe easiest--it nearly wrote itself. Broken Identity has been incredibly hard as I don't want to say goodbyeto Rebel Canyon.  I feel myself draggingmy feet to finish the series. If you had the opportunity to say one thingto your readers, what would that be?   Thank you for taking a chance on me. *Whipped Cream, Strawberry Sauce orChocolate Syrup ?  fat free cool whip on evreything--even chips *What is the craziest/sexiest thing you haveever done in public?   as ateenager--lit a table at a restaurant on fire. as an adult--spanked my child.

Lila Monroe & BethAnn Buehler

A swap is a swap, but some swaps are better than others.
Take for instance this week...
This week I will be visiting Lila Monroe's blog and she will be visiting here....bwuahahaha, I certainly have the better guest, especially since I get TWO for the price of one! (Just don't tell her she got the short end of that stick)
Lila has been here before, but this time she's brought along a partner in crime!!
Yep, you read it right!! Lola brought a friend.
Please welcome BethAnn Buehler!!!
We have a busy week ahead of us, so grab a chair and get comfortable... and when you're done, hop over to Lila's blog and continue your visit with ME!!
Come on, you know you love me!! =^-^=
Today, we're gonna get to know each author a little better and check out their "baby"...
Force Recon!!
After surviving the vacation from hell in BeaconBayou, the Force Recon team finds themselves one relationship, one fiancé, onechild, and one marriage more than before they left Camp Lejeune for leave. Butbefore they have a chance to process how a few days so completely changed theirlives, they're called away to Somalia, a hot bed of pirate activity. Theirmission--rescue an embedded female marine taken prisoner.
Beinga female marine isn't easy for Allison Blaise. Choosing a life that's all aboutproving herself worthy of being one of the few and the proud right alongsideher male counterparts, Alli volunteers for every special assignment that comesdown the pipeline.  This time that "go-to" attitude has landedher a stay as a prisoner to a few unsavory Somali pirates.  After watchingher four man extraction team be virtually destroyed before her eyes, Alli findsherself inexplicably drawn to the team leader, Brogan Baker. But that partof her that would normally heel to a Dominant man's been damaged, and she fearsit may be permanent.
EricRyan, AKA Chaos, has only been with the team a few weeks when he realizes he'sgot a few problems on his hands. Not only is he replacing a dead man, he'svying for control of a team whose current leader knows all his dirty littlesecrets. While he'd like to be topped by the man in charge he knows it'sprobably impossible and Eric's discovered something in him is attracted to thewoman attached to Brogan's side every waking minute.
Withtheir team in a constant state of change and under duress, Aaron finds himselfstruggling to accept the notion that he's worth being loved and unable toimpress his soon to be grandfather -in-law.  Worse, he can't shake the guiltthat's haunted him ever since the botched rescue in Somalia. But Aaron's notthe only one with problems. Gabe thought his life was under control until Rosreveals yet another secret, one he's so distracted by he almost doesn't survivethe trip home from Somalia.  A secret Ros may not survive either.
Justwhen they thought they were strong enough to make it through anything, theForce Recon team is once again faced with enough to either make them or breakthem.

What is it? Yes I do. If you haven't been tempted to add it to your TBR pile yet, well maybe now you will be. Enjoy!!

Dylan hurried to pull his jeans on and hopped on one leg, chasing her down the hall.   As he reached the living room he stopped to find Julia standing with her hands on her hips facing Kyle, who dangled a set of keys from his index finger.    The Cheshire grin on his best friend's face was priceless.  Dylan bristled. "When did you get here?" Kyle tossed him the keys. "Oh, somewhere between 'Shit' and 'Oh my God'."

Remember, Flesh Wounds will be available for download, Thursday, September 15th from Extasy Books!http://www.extasybooks.com

Six Sentence Sunday

This weeks SIX is from FLESH WOUNDS, my first ever mainstream, contemporary romance. Yep, that's right, no vampires anywhere!! Let's hope I survive! LOL!

Adult Content!    She pushed him back onto the bed and crawled on top of his already stiffened body. Stroking the length of him, she ran her thump over the tip and slicked his seeping juices down the shaft.    Dylan bristled as she took him into her mouth. "Oh shit," he swore out load. Only she could make him cuss in the throes of passion.    Tangling her hair in his hands, she bobbed her head up and down, electricity scattered across his body, making him throb inside her mouth on the verge of exploding.
Flesh Wounds will be available Sept. 15thfrom eXtasy Books!!

Check out "The Return" and see why it received 4 1/4  stars from Night Owl Reviews.

Raven Prince, a vampire, and Thorne Abbott, her human lover, have endured secrets, lies and even murder. The only task remaining is for Thorne to become a vampire as well. Eternity never looked so good. Haunted by the shame of deserting his first true love, Jason Craft, became a hunter of his own kind. Brought together on a mission of revenge, he found sanctuary in the arms of Jazmine Fabré and together they uncovered a startling truth.Jason, now an enemy of the Vampire Lord for whom he'd been employed, sets out to save the coven he's been commissioned to eradicate, which leads straight to the woman he left behind thirty years before, Raven Prince.  Will fate lead them to where they were meant to be? Or will evil forces destroy them all? Sometimes the only way to get something right is to go back to where it all went wrong.

EXCERPT:

The second they reached the staircase, Thorne pushed her against the wall and kissed her. Photo frames along the wall, rattled from the force of her body. He gripped the back of her head and twisted her hair in his hand, pressing his mouth against hers, harder. After a few heated seconds, Raven pulled away, panting feverishly. "What was that all about?" "You're sexy as hell when you're angry." He kissed her again.Raven giggled and Thorne relaxed, knowing he'd successfully tamed a wild vampire. "You're a tricky one," she chimed as she led him up the stairs by his shirt collar. As they entered the safety zone of their room, Thorne grabbed her around the waist and pulled her to him, her back pressed against his chest. "We have to fight that nasty urge to mark our territory, Raven," he whispered in her ear.She slowly turned around and faced him. "Like the way you resisted marking your territory by latching onto my belt loop downstairs?" A lively grin played across her lips. Exciting tingles of electricity skittered down his back. "That's different." "Oh?" "Yes." He scooped her up and carried her to the bed then plopped her onto the mattress. "Because everyone already knows…" He slowly ran his finger from the satiny skin of her neck down between her breasts and stopped just above her navel. His gaze trailed along the path of his finger, and then his attention snapped back to her eyes. "All of this is mine." Raven studied his eyes, back and forth, as a comfortable silence settled over the room. "I love you." Her voice caught at the end, and then she swallowed hard. Thorne's heart raced as her eyes began to glisten. He never meant to make her cry. "I'm sorry." He drew her to him and held her tight."It's not that. It's just that I love you so much and the thought of losing you because of this unexpected danger scares the hell out of me." He cupped her chin with his left hand and raked his fingers through the length of her silky hair, peering deep into her eyes. "All the more reason for you to change me." Raven looked away. Thorne tightened his grip on her hair. "Taste me, Raven." A profound shiver ricocheted throughout his body just at the thought. "One taste and you won't be able to stop yourself. You'll bite me and it will all be over." Raven shook her head. "You know how bad you've always wanted to taste my blood on your tongue." "Stop." She tried to pull away, but he held firm. "The warm, sweet taste of my essence flowing through your body." Thorne leaned down and pressed his cheek to hers, positioning his lips millimeters from her ear. "Our life together will begin and you'll never have to worry about my safety again."Raven flattened her palms against his chest and nudged him back, shaking her head. "It's too late. You're already in danger. If I bite you now, you'll be even more vulnerable while you're phasing." Thorne release her and bowed his head. She was right. They were leaving as soon as the sun set. The risk was too great. "You're right." "I'm sorry. I know how bad you want this and even though I go back and forth about it, I really do want it, too." Thorne took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. It was settled. "I know you do. And I'll try not to seduce you into biting me." He offered a short laugh. Raven slinked back toward him, her gaze narrowed, unleashing a thrilling flutter in his stomach. He loved it when she played dirty. "Don't get too carried away," she cooed. "I can have us packed and ready to go in seconds, so we have plenty of time for seduction." Thorne lifted her off the ground and kissed her hard."You don't have to tell me twice."
