The Good Counselor

Last five chapters update:

Ch 20: 💯%Ch 21: 20% ⬅️Ch 22: 💯%Ch 23: 0%Ch 24: 0%

Not bad, considering I’m demotivated for GOOD reasons (tomorrow is my birthday but we celebrated today with ramen, massages and R getting his covid vaccine)

Still on pace to finish the book soon. And I can’t thank all of you enough for the outpouring of support after all this time. I feel like we’re getting the band back together.

The Good Counselor progress: Chapter 20: 100%Chapter 21: 0%Chapter 22: 85%Chapter 23: 0%Chapter 24: 0%

There are 24 chapters in this book and it stands at over 105,000 words. I am almost done. As soon as it’s finished, I’ll to post a preorder link on Kindle and commission a cover from Morgan, who did the first two covers.

I cannot believe it’s this close. Five years after publishing Destroyer of Light Six years after publishing Receiver of Many,

And you’re finally going to get to read the next book in the series:

The Good Counselor

by Rachel Alexander

Hooray!

I’m so excited I can’t believe it

I have written 97,197 words so far in The Good Counselor.

I only have 15-20% left to write. Three weeks ago I easily had 50% left. This book is getting written. And I don’t want to jinx it, but it will be finished soon.

Yay!! I’m so excited!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Queen of the Dead 053

According to the Homeric Hymn to Demeter, Persephone was picking roses, crocuses, violets, irises and hyacinths when she was abducted. However, what the ancient Greeks called hyacinth was probably not the same flower that we today call hyacinth. It has been suggested that it maybe was larkspur. I changed it to grape hyacinths. I skipped the crocuses because I wasn’t sure if they really bloom in late spring/early summer when my comic takes place (in my Swedish translation of the Hymn it says that Persephone was picking saffron, referring to the saffron crocus, I assume. But it blooms in autumn).

On the other hand, Persephone could probably grow any flower she wants even if it wasn’t the right season, so I don’t know why I put so much research into this… XD
