Krishna’s miracle in New York
…from the very beginning I went to New York because I thought that Krishna
Consciousness is the most important idea in the world, so let me go to that
place, New York, which is the most important city in the world, and if I am
able to do anything for Krishna and my Spiritual Master, even I am at the
fag-end of my life, at least let me try for it there. So my dreams have all
come true, and all of you nice boys and girls are getting the credit. When I
was alone in your New York, I was thinking, who will listen to me in this
horrible, sinful place? All right, I shall stay little longer, at least I
can distribute a few of my books, that is something. But Krishna was all
along preparing something I could not see, and He brought you to me one by
one, sincere American boys and girls, to be trained-up for doing the work of
Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu. Now I can see that it is a miracle. Otherwise,
your city of New York, one single old man, with only a few books to sell for
barely getting eatables, how he can survive, what to speak of introducing
God-consciousness movement for saving the humankind? That is Krishna’s
miracle.

Follow this policy and push these books
Print book and sell and spend. Follow this policy there and here also, and
push these books. That is our main preaching. Somehow or other, it must go,
from door to door, hand to hand. Then our preaching is successful. Anyone
who will read, he’ll get some benefit. That is sure, because such
literatures are not available throughout the whole world. It is a new
revolution to the people in general. Am I right or not?

Scientists, philosophers, great thinkers, writers… all rubbish
They have no knowledge what is God and whether one can go back to home, back
to Godhead. It is a practical thing or not.
No knowledge. Simply like animals. That’s all. No knowledge. They pray: “O,
God, give us our daily bread.” Now ask him: “What is God?” Can he explain?
No. Then whom we are asking? In the air? If I ask, if I submit some
petition, there must be some person. So I do not know what is that person,
where to submit this petition. Simply… They say that He’s in the sky. The
sky, there are so many birds also, but that is not God. You see. No
knowledge, no knowledge. Imperfect knowledge, all.
And they’re passing on scientists, philosophers, great thinkers, writers,
and…
All rubbish, all rubbish. The only book is Srimad-Bhagavatam, Bhagavad-gita.

Vakreshvar Pandit Calling Gandharvas to Accompany in Kirtan
Question:
Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu personally sang while Vakresvara Pandita danced. How come that Vakresvara Pandita then desired that "O Candramukha! Please give me ten thousand Gandharvas. Let them sing as I dance, and then I will be greatly happy." (CC Adi 10.19) and not desired for the Lord to sing on and on and he would dance continuously?

Spiritual lust and greed
…even if one is tainted by kama, lobha, krodha, etc., they can be
transfigured by Krsna consciousness. In other words, one can utilize kama
(lust) for serving Krsna. Being impelled by lust, an ordinary worker will
work hard day and night; similarly a devotee can work hard day and night to
satisfy Krsna. Just as karmis are working hard to satisfy kama-krodha, a
devotee should work in the same way to satisfy Krsna. Similarly, krodha
(anger) can also be used in the service of Krsna when it is applied to the
nondevotee demons. Hanumanji applied his anger in this way. He was a great
devotee of Lord Ramacandra, and he utilized his anger to set fire to the
kingdom of Ravana, a nondevotee demon. Thus kama (lust) can be utilized to
satisfy Krsna, and krodha (anger) can be utilized to punish the demons. When
both are used for Krsna’s service, they lose their material significance and
become spiritually important.

everything nice
We are offering to everyone everything that is nice: nice food, nice family
life, nice music, nice philosophy, nice association. Only a rascal will not
accept this gift of Krishna Consciousness.
