Why Sayujya Is Considered As One Kind of Mukti
Question:
The goal of a Gaudiya Vaishnava is "Prema Bhakti", but out of the 5 types of mukti, for sayujya-mukti—we use the pramana “aruhya krccrena param padam tatha, patanty adho anadrta yusmad anghrayah” (Srimad Bhagavatam 10.2.32) to provide evidence that sayuja-mukti is not a permanent type of mukti. If this is the case, why is it considered one of the types of mukti? My understanding of “mukti” here is based on the definition from Bhagavat 2.10.6 – muktir hitva anyatha rupam svarupena vyavasthitih.

No danger of a downfall for those who take prasada
Whereas an impersonalist tries to avoid good eatables, a devotee knows that
Krsna is the supreme enjoyer and that He eats all that is offered to Him in
devotion. So, after offering good eatables to the Lord, the devotee takes
the remnants, called prasadam. Thus everything becomes spiritualized, and
there is no danger of a downfall. The devotee takes prasadam in Krsna
consciousness, whereas the nondevotee rejects it as material. The
impersonalist, therefore, cannot enjoy life, due to his artificial
renunciation; and for this reason, a slight agitation of the mind pulls him
down again into the pool of material existence.

Our philosophy: play with Krsna, dance with Krsna
Our philosophy is “Come. Come here, play with Krsna as cowherd boy. Come
here, dance with Krsna as gopi. Come here, accept Krsna as your son, Krsna
will accept you as His mother.” There will be always two, and enjoy, any
way. Even as enemy, demon displaying part of enemy, Krsna killing, that is
also pastime too. That is also enjoyment. Just like sometimes we fight,
friend to friend, to enjoy life, because fighting is enjoyment. You become
enemy of Krsna purposefully, and to fight with Him, that is giving pleasure
to Krsna. Krsna is enjoying, and He also becomes so staunch enemy. So this
is also transcendental pleasure. Just like Bhisma. He is piercing the body
of Krsna, and He is coming with cakra. That is a pleasure. Krsna is enjoying
being pierced by His devotee. And devotee is enjoying, “Now Krsna is coming
to kill me.” So any way you can deal with Krsna and enjoy transcendental
pleasure, either as enemy or as friend or as son or as lover, as master, as
a servant — any way. Krsna is prepared to deal with you any way, in twelve
rasas, akhila-rasamrta-sindhu. Raso vai sah, in the Vedas, He is the
reservoir of all pleasure, transcendental.

Srila Prabhupada on training
Dr. Patel: No, these boys who are recruited newly. They don’t have much
about the idea of Vaisnavism.
Prabhupada: That’s all right. That’s a fact. But what can I do? They are my
helper.
Dr. Patel: They have to be trained up earlier and then let loose. Otherwise,
you know, they create it. Because all the bad impressions are for them.
Prabhupada: No. They’ll be trained while working. Not that simply theorizing
at home, no.
Dr. Patel: That’s right, but I think…
Prabhupada: They should work, and at the same time, they may fall down, just
like a child tries to walk, falls down, again walks, again… Then he
becomes complete.

Srila Prabhupada on the “Green Revolution”
Many may claim that in the modern age material scientists have helped
increase agricultural yield. But we fearlessly proclaim that it is precisely
such atheistic views that have brought the world to the present acute food
crisis. If we are not careful, the day will soon come when fruits will be
reduced to just skin and seed, cows’ udders will dry up, and paddy fields
will grow only grass. The scriptures predict that these things will come to
pass in the Kali-yuga.

not particularly to the needy
So far the Fiji constitution is concerned, where it says: “supplying needs
to the sick, poor, and orphans, etc.” That is not our program. We
distribute prasadam to everyone, not particularly to the needy. We make no
discrimination, rich or poor.

Our declaration is completely right
One who is not God-conscious, one who does not know that he is not body, he
is animal. That’s all. Maybe in different dress, in different… So you have
to set up real human society in a small scale so people will see, “Yes.”
Because man has got intelligence. Just like, although I am condemning the
western mode of life, still, so many western young boys, they have come. I
never came to speak to flatter you, that “Your western civilization is very
nice.” I never said that. Why you are coming? I never came to flatter you,
neither I never came to say, “Yes, there is no God.” I am speaking just
opposite, everything opposite. “You are drunkard; no drink. You are illicit
sex hunters; no illicit sex.” So I am just speaking opposite, from the
beginning of my preaching. So why you are coming? So if you stick to your
position, real human civilization, people will come, gradually. Because they
have got the sense. When we say others are animals, demons, we don’t say
whimsically, capriciously, no. On the basis of sound knowledge. Therefore
our declaration is completely right.
