Vamana’s warning to brahmanas and sannyasis

A brahmana or sannyasi is qualified to ask charity from others, but if he
takes more than necessary he is punishable. No one can use more of the
Supreme Lord’s property than necessary. Lord Vamanadeva indirectly indicated
to Bali Maharaja that he was occupying more land than he needed. In the
material world, all distresses are due to extravagance. One acquires money
extravagantly and also spends it extravagantly. Such activities are sinful.
All property belongs to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and all living
beings, who are sons of the Supreme Lord, have the right to use the Supreme
Father’s property, but one cannot take more than necessary. This principle
should especially be followed by brahmanas and sannyasis who live at the
cost of others.

How to remember Krsna when asleep

Devotee: How does the devotee go about practicing this Krsna consciousness
when he’s asleep?
Prabhupada: Yes, Sleep means your gross senses are stopped, but your mind
works. Therefore you dream. So if you practice your mind to be engaged in
Krsna consciousness, in dream also you’ll see that you are preparing
prasadam. “I am going to sell Back to Godhead.” (chuckles) That’s all.
Sometimes some nights when I feel hungry, I dream that I’m eating Krsna
prasadam very sumptuous. (laughing)
Devotee: Oh, haribol! (laughing)
Prabhupada: (laughs) Somebody is supplying me nice parata and I am eating.
(laughs) But, being hungry, oh, my hunger is not satisfied. I’m eating,
eating, till the dream is end. So if you practice, this is the technique.

Everyone in the material world is an enemy of Krsna

Everyone who is in the material world is enemy of Krsna. Everyone. Because
they want to be competitor of Krsna. Krsna says that bhoktaram: “I am the
supreme enjoyer.” Sarva-loka-mahesvaram: [Bg. 5.29] “I am the Supreme
proprietor.” And the Vedas also confirm, isavasyam idam sarvam [Iso mantra
1]. “Everything is the property of the Supreme Lord.” Sarvam khalv idam
brahma. These are Vedic injunctions. Yato va imani bhutani jayante: “From
whom everything has come.” Janmady asya yatah [SB 1.1.1]. These are Vedic
versions. But still, we, because we are enemies, “No, why Krsna shall be the
proprietor? I am the proprietor. Why Krsna shall be God only. I have got
another God. Here is another God.”

Investing Money in Stock Market

Question:
I am presently pestered by a question that is answered in different ways by different making conundrum more complex. Finally, I was directed to this page by Vishnujana Prabhu.
I want to know if I am pursuing a career that involves investments in stocks, will my income be counted under an income that has come out of gambling? I am studying the scripts for days and nights and only after that I come to a decision whether to buy or sell.
What is gambling in stock market? In finance gambling can be labelled as a trade done under somebody else's recommendation or without studying the script before you enter it.
My friend once went to a casino in Singapore. He started putting money there and started earning regularly. After few days he was banned from entering that casino. The reason was he was claimed to be studying the whole game and then entering it. They said "you can only gamble here but can't study. The casino demands that you only gamble here.

Studying before putting money is not allowed." It is quite clear that anything that takes sweat and toil cant be labelled as gambling. Are the people doing MBA in finance or the financial analysts gamblers? It is very easy to say yes for a person who dont have an inkling of what finance is but ask the person who is striving to make his bread and butter out of it.
I need Maharaja's opinion on this. So that I can work on it. I shall respect Maharaja's decision wholeheartedly.

Radha: the origin of love of Krsna

If one asks about the origin of love of Krsna, the answer is that the origin
is in Srimati Radharani alone.

Greeting with “Hare Krishna” and Dandavats to Seniors

Question:
In one of Maharaja’s answers, he mentioned that it is not respectful to begin a letter with Hare Krishna/Haribol when it is addressed to seniors. My question is; will this be applicable when physically addressing while showing pranam i.e do we need to just show pranam and wait till the senior devotee say Hare Krishna and then respond with Hare Krishna?
Do we only offer dandavats to our diksa-guru not the other gurus or sannyasis in temple hall in front of Srila Prabhupada or the deities?

Srimati Radharani is the topmost, greater than Krsna

You cannot understand. You cannot see Krsna. You cannot order Krsna, “Krsna,
please come, dancing with flute. I shall see You.” This is order. Krsna is
not subjected to your order. Therefore Caitanya Mahaprabhu gives us
instruction, aslisya va pada-ratam pinastu mam marma-hatam karotu va
adarsanam [Cc. Antya 20.47]. Adarsanam. Everyone wants to see Krsna, a
devotee, but a pure devotee says that “No, if you don’t like to see me,
that’s all right. You can break my heart. I may always pray to see You. But
You do not come and break my heart, that is also accepted. Still, I shall
worship You.” This is pure devotion. Not that “I have asked Krsna to come
before me dancing. He did not come. So I give up this nonsense. The Krsna
consciousness movement is no value.” Not like that. This is Radharani’s
attitude. So Krsna left Vrndavana. All the gopis, they passed their days
simply crying for Krsna, but never condemned Krsna. Whenever somebody
came… Krsna also was thinking of them because gopis are the greatest
devotees, topmost devotees. There is no comparison with the devotion of the
gopis. Therefore Krsna was always obliged to them. Krsna said to the gopis
that “You have to be satisfied with your own business. I cannot return you
anything for your love.” Krsna, the Supreme, the all-powerful, He was unable
to repay the debts for the gopis. Caitanya Mahaprabhu said, ramya kacid
upasana vraja-vadhu-vargena ya kalpita. There is no more better worship than
what was conceived by the gopis. So gopis are the topmost devotees. And
amongst the gopis, Srimati Radharani is the topmost. Therefore Srimati
Radharani is greater than Krsna.
