Writing Reviews
This week has been a important week in the life of my book "Loose Ends" and I wanted to share some of my thoughts. First, I received several unsolicited reviews for my book. (One from a woman who had just won a Kindle and this was her first download.) The reviews have been wonderful - and have really made me feel great!!! I think most authors have those insecure moments when we wonder if what we write is really good enough. Until I actually had a book out there - I never realized what a review meant to an author. I've resolved to do much better at taking the time to review a book!
This week also marks the week when "Loose Ends" passed the 100 mark in books sold. I't been out there for less than a month and I'm thrilled.
Thanks to everyone who took a chance on this new author! I hope we can be friends for a long time!

Loose Ends
Hello! Welcome to my blog! I'm Terri Reid, author of the Mary O'Reilly Paranormal Mystery Series. My first book, "Loose Ends" is currently offered through Amazon Kindle and I'm working on my second book. It's funny - the second book is set during the holiday season and it's currently about 85 degrees outside my home and the mosquitos are big enough that they could carry small children away. But, I have Christmas Carols playing in the background, I have the air conditioner set to FREEZE and Mary and I are currently snow-bound by a blizzard. It's so much fun to be an author.
If you have any questions about my book, my strange attraction to ghosts, or just writing in general - I'd be more than happy to chat with you.
In the meantime, do as I advise all of my friends who don't believe in ghosts. Get yourself a cat - because when there are strange unexplained noises in your house - you can blame the cat!
