Loose Ends Free - and other stuff!

Happy Mother's Day!!! I hope it's wonderful for all of you. I'm offering Loose Ends for free this weekend, thinking that many Moms might get Kindles for their special day. If you know of anyone who might enjoy Mary and friends - please let them know. :)
I'm also working on Book 11 now. I thought I had finished the series with Book 10 - but I was wrong. (There was a general uprising of the characters in my office.) I'm having a little fun with Mary and Bradley - now that they're married. :) And some other characters are finally letting go a little. I'll post more when I get closer!
I hope you have a lovely weekend.

Take care!

Expanding Mary's reach

Hi!!!

For the past 16 months or so, Mary O'Reilly has been primarily available through Amazon and Kindle. I've had repeated requests to allow them to be available through other formats. So, adding Barnes and Noble (Nook) and Kobo to the distribution chain of the my books.
I hope I can gain new readers (and friends) by expanding my horizons. :)
Thanks for all of your support!!

Terri

Irish Mist - Sean's Story

Hi! As I was writing book 10, I realized that there was a back story about Sean that would make things a little clearer in Book 10 and in the next series I'm planning on writing. So, I put together a short story and placed it on Amazon. I priced it as low as they would let me - .99 cents, and I also added to Amazon's KDP library so you could just borrow it if you'd like. (Which also means it will be a few months before it's available through Nook or Smashwords - sorry!)

I hope you enjoy it!

Twisted Paths - A Mary O'Reilly Paranormal Mystery (Book Nine)

Twisted Paths- A Mary O'Reilly Paranormal Mystery

Hello!

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season. I apologize for the lateness of this post. I released "Twisted Paths" a week before Christmas, my daughter was married four days before Christmas, my mother-in-law passed away on New Year's Eve - so my life has been a little hectic. I am finally back, catching up on life and I wanted to finally post that Twisted Paths is out. Many of you probably already now this :) - but I just wanted to make it official.
I hope you enjoy it!!!
Thanks for your patience with me!

Secret Hollows - A Mary O'Reilly Paranormal Mystery (Book 7) Now Available

http://www.amazon.com/Secret-Hollows-OReilly-Paranormal-ebook/dp/B007S7LKFM/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

The newest Mary O'Reilly Paranormal Mystery is now available.

The man smiled at Timmy. “That would be nice of you. Why don’t you lead the way?”
Timmy moved past the man and started back up the hill. He heard the whoosh of something moving quickly through the air, but it hit him before he had time to react. He felt the impact against his head and his whole body flew sideways through the air. Landing in the dense ground cover, his face was momentarily buried in loose dirt, pine needles, dried leaves and twigs. Lifting his head, he took a deep breath and started to scramble away on his hands and knees. A strong hand caught him by the neck and pushed him back into the dirt.
“Sorry, Timmy, I can’t let you go now,” the man whispered. “You’d tell.”

Timmy Beck, Fireman Mike Richards’ boyhood friend, was killed twenty years ago, but everyone in the town is sure they caught the right man…or did they? Why is Timmy’s ghost still haunting Lake Le-Aqua-Na?
Mary, Bradley, Ian and Mike investigate and find the true murderer may be much closer than they had ever expected.

The last few students climbed through windows, black smoke billowing out of them. The teacher turned to his student. “I’ll let you down first.”
“But Coach, whose going to help you?”
“Hey, you’re my best fielder, I expect to jump right into your arms,” he said. “Just promise not to whip me over to Smith for a double play.”
The young man, his face streaked with soot, grinned at his coach. “Yeah, Coach, I promise.”
He took the young man’s hands in a tight grip and slowly lowered him out the window. When he had extended his reach as far as he could, he let him go.
The student fell into the evergreen boughs, the prickly needles scraped his arms, but the branches kept him from hitting the ground. He rolled off the bushes and jumped up as fast as he could. He turned his eager face up to the window. “Okay, Coach,” he called.
The explosion violently blew the windows out of the building. Screaming students darted across the lawn, barely escaping the shards of glass raining down on them. All of the students except Stevo, who still stood below the gaping hole in the wall, oblivious to the blood running down his face and arms. “Coach, Coach,” he screamed. “I’m here, Coach. Coach, I’m here.”
Mary O’Reilly investigates the death of a beloved high school coach while she tries to overcome the repercussion of solving Jeannine’s murder.

Sneak Peek of Book Six - Natural Reaction

I'm planning on uploading Book Six - Natural Reaction - tomorrow!!! But, in the meantime, I thought I'd give you a sneak peek of one of my favorite scenes:

I'm waiting for my AMAZING editors to read through the story and send me their corrections. In the meantime I thought I'd share a sneak peak with you - one of my favorite scenes: :)

He closed the file and pushed it to the side of his desk. “You know what the problem is?” he asked.
She shook her head. “No, what’s the problem.”
He motioned her closer. “I really think we need to be careful about who hears this,” he said, lowering his voice and leaning across his desk.
Moving closer, she asked anxiously, “What is it?”
Shaking his head, he leaned even further across the desk, so she could feel his breath on her face. “Every damn time I start reading these reports, a mental image of you in silk stockings and a black dress pops into my head and I’m useless.”
She bit her lower lip to contain the laughter. ‘Oh, I’m terribly sorry,” she lied.
He reached up, slid his hand around her neck and pulled her even closer. “Yeah, well, I’m not,” he said, reaching up and kissing her.
A discreet knock on the door had them pulling apart like guilty teenagers. Mary jumped off the desk and was already standing next to the window when Dorothy came through the door with a handful of files.
“Thank you, Dorothy,” Bradley said, clearing his throat. “Is there anything else?”
Dorothy seemed to be having a difficult time schooling her features into the professional reserve she usually maintained. “Well, sir,” she said. “I think it might be beneficial if you move the mobile intercom from where you have it on your desk.”
“I’m sorry?” Bradley asked, looking at the metal box sitting below him on the desk.
“Well, sir, when you lean forward on your desk, you inadvertently press the button,” she said.
Bradley looked down at the button, over at Mary and his face began to slowly turn red. “When I lean forward I accidentally press the intercom button,” he repeated. “And perhaps that recently happened?”
Dorothy nodded. “And I must say that most of the officers online agree that Miss O’Reilly dressed in silk stockings and a black dress would be distracting to them too.”
Mary clapped her hand over her mouth and turned to the window.
Bradley loosened his shirt collar. “Thank you, Dorothy, I appreciate your advice,” he said, picking up the intercom and moving it to the other side of his desk. “And I appreciate your quick intervention.”
Then he smiled at Mary. “And, for the record, even without silk stockings she is quite distracting.”
Once the door closed Mary dissolved into a fit of laughter. “Oh, Bradley, I am so sorry,” she chortled. “But you should have seen your face.”
He didn’t say a word, just met her eyes, slowly stood up and walked away from his desk. Their eyes locked, he moved next to her, reached past her and systematically closed all of the blinds. Then reaching backwards, he pressed the button on the intercom. “Dorothy, I’m going to kiss Miss O’Reilly now, do I have an all clear?”
He heard his assistant giggle. “Yes, sir, you do.”
“Go Chief!” one of his officers called, followed by a chorus of whistles and encouragement.
He lifted his finger from the button and slipped his hands up Mary’s arms, finally cradling her face in his hands. “Do I have the all clear, Miss O’Reilly?” he whispered.
“Yes,” she breathed. “Yes, you do.”
