Shear Disaster - A New Paranormal Mystery Series

Louella Jo Carter left her life in Julep, Mississippi, and headed for the BIG APPLE - New York City. She trained at a top cosmetology school and got a job at Elizabeth Arden's Red Door Salon. (And she changed her name to L.J. because she could.) Life was pretty much perfect.
Then she got the news her mother died.
Packing everything up, she moved back to Julep to attend her mother's funeral and figure out what to do with the house she grew up in and the beauty salon her momma owned.
She didn't plan on all of the complications.
Discovering that:
Momma was murdered and the murderers were after L.J. too.
Momma had joined a coven.
Momma's best friend was an eccentric psychic.
The psychic's nephew could have been named the sexiest man alive.
Momma was a ghost.

Travel down to Julep, Mississippi, enjoy some good, old Southern Hospitality and a little bit of paranormal mystery just for fun.

Agnes' Answer

The newest book in the Willoughby Witches Series is FINALLY here!!! Agnes' Answer was published yesterday!

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0854PLZ8Y

Over one hundred years ago, a group of witches, escaping a second wave of Witch Trials made their way from New England to Whitewater, Wisconsin, known as Second Salem. Others, seeking knowledge in spiritualism and the occult, also made their way to the city and, through their ignorance, unleashed an evil entity poised to destroy the city. Three sisters, the Willoughby Witches, created an incantation strong enough to ensnare the demon. But magic requires payment, and so the sisters sacrificed themselves to keep their city and their family safe. Now, 120 years later, the incantation is at its end, and the demon grows stronger every day. Three sisters, three witches, know that now is the time for them to step up and face the creature their ancestors faced and sacrifice whatever they need in order to keep Whitewater safe.
Now that Agnes Willoughby has been reunited with her one true love, will she have to sacrifice that love and even her life in order to save her daughters? Will the shadows from the past, dim the promise of the future? As they face the demon of Samhain, what additional sacrifices will be required of the Willoughbys?

Want to hear some ghost stories?

ANNOUNCEMENT!!! I'm so excited about this!!! So many people expressed their disappointment when they couldn't come when I told ghost stories locally. So, I decided to make them available online. My amazing son, Andrew Reid, produced these YouTube videos of me telling ghost stories and then, later, I'll be reading the Freaky Fridays.

Please check it out - and please subscribe to the channel. (I had no idea how important subscribing is - it really helps YouTube know that you like this kind of video and it helps me gain new readers and subscribers.) Thanks so much!!!

Please let me know what you think. <3

Letters for Dayton

I was contacted by one of my readers who works for the Northridge Schools - here's what she said:
On May 28th, 9 Tornados came through Ohio and our district was one of the many communities severally hit. Many students lost their homes and are still currently displaced.

On August 4th, Dayton Oh was apart of a mass shooting. We are all still in mourning.

On September 23, our students will be going back to school. I would love it if, on the first day, every student could have a letter of encouragement. A letter to show that people do care and are thinking about them. My hope is that our students will feel empowered and relieved in a time that they need it the most.

Send letters/ cards/ postcards to the following:

Northridge Board Office Attn: Hope 4 Kids
2008 Timber Ln, Dayton, OH 45414

Please put the Attn. on it so we can make sure the letters don't get mixed around with other mail. Feel free to pass this along to anyone who would be willing to write letters to our students.

This is something we ALL can do - please take a moment and write a letter of encouragement to a child who might be feeling a little unsure about the world right now!

Thanks so much!!!

Terri

Catalpa's Curse - The Willoughby Witches (Book 3)

Catalpa's Curse: The Willoughby Witches

The third book in the Willoughby Witches series is FINALLY here -
Over one hundred years ago, a group of witches, escaping a second wave of Witch Trials made their way from New England to Whitewater, Wisconsin, known as Second Salem. Others, seeking knowledge in spiritualism and the occult, also made their way to the city and, through their ignorance, unleashed an evil entity poised to destroy the city. Three sisters, the Willoughby Witches, created an incantation strong enough to ensnare the demon. But, magic requires payment, and so the sisters sacrificed themselves to keep their city and their family safe. Now, 120 years later, the incantation is at its end, and the demon grows stronger every day. Three sisters, three witches, know that now is the time for them to step up and face the creature their ancestors faced and sacrifice whatever they need in order to keep Whitewater safe.
Catalpa Willoughby always thought that Donovan Farrington was her one true love, but Donovan’s decision to join the league of the demon known as the Master has Cat both frightened and confused. In order to fight the demon, she and her sisters were charged with finding a soulmate who can help them on this journey. Will that soulmate be Donovan, or could it be the mysterious stranger in town, Finias Bailey, who seems to know more about the Willoughbys than he should.

I really hope you like Cat's story!!!

Maybelle's Affair - Mary's Back At It

Maybelle's Affair - A Finders Mansion Mystery

You move into a new house and you're bound to find something's wrong with it, right? Well, poor Mary and Bradley can't win - they buy the old Finders Mansion only to discover that the parlor (Where greedy, old Augustus Finders used to work) is stock full of disgruntled ghosts. That's the worst kind! And Mary can't see them anymore - which makes things not only worse but also really creepy! To top it off, D. A. Alex Boettcher discovers a link between a series of unexplained deaths and Maybelle's money. Does someone know about their secret?
I hope you enjoy the next installment of Mary's life with Maybelle's Affair.

Witches

Rowan's Responsibility: The Willoughby WitchesHazel's Heart: The Willoughby Witches

The town of Whitewater, Wisconsin is about two hours north of me. It has a very interesting history - it is known as Second Salem because of all of the history of witches in the area. It was also the home of a Spiritualism Academy in the early 1900s - where students could learn all about the spiritualistic arts. They even had an all-white room where they would hold seances. Those facts were the jumping board for my series about the Willoughby Witches - three sisters who are the chosen ones to finish a spell their great-great-grandmother and her sisters started 120 years ago.

The first two books in the series are now out - and I can't wait to tell the rest of the stories. I hope you love the Willoughby family as much as I do - they are fun, sassy, and love each other very much! And the men they meet to help them finish their quest are pretty darn sexy too!

Reena's Miracle

I was not going to write a Christmas Short Story this year - because of other deadlines. Then I learned that a dear friend and reader passed away at the beginning of the month. Maureen McDermott Marella was one of the loveliest people I've ever met. She was sweet and kind. She was happy and positive, even when her health wasn't good. This story came to me - and I hope it will be a tribute to Maureen McDermott Marella and the kind of person she was.

Cherish your friends - each and every day! <3 <3 <3Reena's Miracle
