Tempest Tossed: Angels Among Us
My newest book, "Tempest Tossed - Angels Among Us," was just released. This was a book that I HAD to write - the story just wouldn't let me do anything else.
This book isn't about ghosts - it's about angels.
It isn't about solving a mystery - it's about healing hearts and restoring faith.
It's about love, family, loyalty, and overcoming adversity. And it's about understanding that God loves you, and even through your hardest times, He's there with you and loves you.
I think I needed this book. If you need it too, I hope you read it.

Happy Holidays!!
I hope this blog post finds you all healthy and happy, with much to be thankful for during this wonderful season. And I hope that you can take the time to "be still" for a few moments and feel the peace of this sacred season.
I wanted to update you on a couple of things happening this month:
1. Auld Lang Syne - A Mary O'Reilly Christmas Story (featuring Clarissa, Maggie, and Andy) is FREE from December 12th through the 16th. This book was originally published in 2017 - so why should you grab a FREE copy now? Because at the end of the story are FOUR CHAPTERS of my newest novel - "Chicago Crypt - Charon’s Cross," which will be released in early 2025. And, because "Auld Lang Syne" is a really sweet Christmas story.
2 - The Ultimate Mary O'Reilly Christmas Collection - was just released! It has all of the stories - from "The Three Wise Guides" to "Hallmarked" in one book. I did this mostly for those who wanted all the stories in print - and all of the stories in one place. I had so much fun rereading these stories (a few tears were shed and some spontaneous laughter erupted), I hope that you will enjoy them too.
3 - Lethal Distraction - A Pierogies & Pumps Mystery Novella - While I was rereading my Christmas stories, I also reread "Lethal Distraction" because it was released near Christmas, and I thought it should be included in the collection. It was not a Christmas story - but I really enjoyed reading it. (I don't know if I should say that about one of my own stories. I wrote it years ago,Auld Lang Syne: A Mary O'Reilly Short Story and I had forgotten how hysterical it was.) So, if you're looking for a funny, romantic, and light cozy mystery during these hectic last days of the year - I HIGHLY recommend Lethal Distraction!

Divergent Paths (Bradley's Story) : A Mary O'Reilly Paranormal Mystery
It's FINALLY here!!!! The feedback from my readers was overwhelming - we NEED another Mary O'Reilly story.
Many of you have told me that you reread the series, sometimes every year, to catch up with your friends from Mary's world. I LOVE that!!!
So, when I was trying to come up with a new idea for the series, my daughter, Sarah, suggested that I tell Bradley's story.
At first, I was hesitant; I certainly didn't want to just rehash "Loose Ends," but as I began to explore Bradley, his background, and his perspective on the amazing adventure he was having with Mary, it became so much more. I really got to understand Bradley even more.
I loved writing this book, and I hope you will love reading it!

Merry Christmas!!!
I'm waiting for a monster storm to hit the area tomorrow - I've stocked up on hot chocolate, ingredients for oatmeal cookies, and lots of soup and crackers. I think I'm set. And, in the meantime, I finished my Christmas Short Story - Truly Santa - A Mary O'Reilly Short Story.

Merry Christmas!!!
One of my favorite things to do around the holidays is to watch a certain channel that has LOADS of Christmas Romances featured on it. I know the stories seem a little formulaic and they can be a little cheesy - but I don't care, I love them anyway.
That's what gave me the idea for my newest Christmas novella - Hallmarked - A Mary O'Reilly Novella.
Poor Mary is a little overwhelmed with all of the trimmings and trappings of Christmas. And when one morning is particularly disastrous, she wishes that she could be in one of those movies we all love.
But, of course, it isn't as easy as all that.
