I am VICTORIOUS!

I have finally tamed Microsoft Word to my will and forced it to put page numbers where I want them and only in the parts of the book that I want them!

I found an awesome step-by-step tutorial on the web that helped out  immensely  (http://www.computorcompanion.com/LPMArticle.asp?ID=323) and have succeeded in getting everything properly formatted. Now, we just need to deal with the remaining issues with the cover creator, and we'll be good to go once more!
