Music Review: Soundtrack, "Magnolia"


My list of truly great soundtracks is a short one. It's just so hard to put together a batch of songs that encompass a film. Aside from flat-out musicals, there are few soundtracks that can manage this. At the pinnacle of my "Killer Soundtrack" list would be Magnolia . It's a great film, full of twists and wonderment in LA, that brings together various seemingly unrelated storylines with Altman-esque ease.
