Let's Talk with Cody Wilde

First off, Why are there so many songs about rainbows and what's on the other side?
Are there songs out there like that? I am aware of the Judy Garland classic, "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" but that's the only one I am aware of…hahaha as for the 'other side'—I think we write songs about our fears of things we don't know anything...

Enigmatic Me
Seven years ago today, I had my lil' fall. The one that caused me to have many problems along with much growth and moments of epiphany. See? I'm always looking for that silver lining. Honestly, I don't know where I'd be if it hadn't happened. I was a pretty careless, naive fella. But to say I'm glad it happened is going a bit far. I just wish it had been a less violent "A-ha" moment.

My Random Thoughtage
-I caught Alien Resurrection on TV the other night. I've seen it before, and, no, it's not the greatest film, but anything with Sigourney Weaver kicking alien butt is worth a sit if just to see one of our great veteran actresses still going strong. Near the end of the film, I have to say, there's one hell of a heart-rending scene between Sigourney and her ugly alien baby as she sacrifices its life to save humanity.
