Brain Splurge
-Anyone else see Caprica? It's the prequel series to Battlestar Galactica. There's a gay character on there that beats every stereotype I've ever seen. He's a hot mafia-type with tats and a sexy swagger. That'll keep me watching.
-I hate the new law show, The Deep End, and I haven't even seen it. They promoted it to the point that it got on my damn nerves. Every other commercial is for that shit. Fuck it.
-I've been watching the Masterpiece Theater version of Jane Austen's Emma. One of its star...

Let's Talk with Jae El Foster
He's an enigma, but in a good way.
If Patsy & Edina from AbFab were on the Amazing Race competing against Will & Grace's Jack & Karen, who would win?
Definitely Jack and Karen. Actually, that's only if they don't do something very stupid toward the end of the race that would cause them to lose - which sounds very much like something they would do.
What's your writing style? What makes you tick?
My style is simple - sit down with a vague idea, plot it out as I go, and try my best to stick to the s...

Two Big Deals
So, two big deals happen tomorrow: the Oscar nominations and the final season premiere of THE GREATEST SHOW EVER MADE, LOST.
I was at one time a huge fan of the Oscars. Seriously. I could tell you who won what, who was nominated for what, etc., all the way back to the 1920s without any help from IMDB. My friends and I even had bar contests using some of my useless knowledge in college. Now, though, ...meh. I mean, I'll still get up and watch the nominations tomorrow morning, but there will be ...

Great Line of the Day
"And wasn't this, also, in the end, a way of dealing with death? Death, which is the root of all anxiety. Death, which requires us to justify ourselves. Death, which makes us believe in God."
