Let Go, Let God: Guided Meditation
LET GO and LET GOD! is a basic tenet of the ancient health and relaxation art of Yoga. Letting go is the ultimate answer to distress, when all else fails. Resisting and rejecting our present experience sometimes just keeps us locked in struggle against it – wasting valuable energy that could go into creative transformation into new patterns and new perceptions. There is a wise saying which goes “What we resist, persists.”

Intuition Exercise: Get out of that Rut!
Here are some common ones I hear from my intuitive reading clients:
I don’t know what I want.
I’m in a rut.
I don’t like my relationship (job, life, body…), but I just don’t know what to do.
I’d like to (fill in the blank), but I don’t know how!
I’m sure you have some thoughts that are similar. If you believe, as I do, that this kind of negative thinking keeps you stuck, I have an intuition exercise I’d like you to try.
Your intuition is like the GPS (Global Positioning System) in your car. It gives you guidance about the best way to get to where you want to go.
Take a Breath: You don’t need to have a half-hour or more to meditate in order to receive intuitive wisdom. Simply close your eyes, take a few deep breaths and center yourself. When you feel ready, move on to…
Ask Your Intuition a Good Question:
"What do I want?"
"What's the best possible outcome?"
"What would make me feel better right now?"
"What steps could I take to bring about the situation I want?"
Intuitive Wisdom Arrives: Your intuition supplies answers in a variety of ways. There’s no one right way. It may come as a symbolic image, an “aha” moment, a feeling, a physical sensation, or you may simply feel you “know” the answer. Steer clear of answers that involve forcing someone else to do it your way. Divine intuition always presents options that are a win-win solution for all involved.
Results: You may not receive the information immediately. Be willing to sit with the question for the rest of the day. The answer from your intuition may come to you when you least expect it. If you did receive an answer, write it down.
Action steps: What steps are indicated? Do you need to clarify something with someone? Speak your truth? Let go of something or someone? See a situation from a different perspective or simply be willing to wait something out? You may also receive an answer that indicates you need to do more things that are fun and enjoyable. What steps are you willing to take?
