Spread Your Wings and Fly by Sarah Madison

I have a new blog post up on the Savvy Authors website: Spread Your Wings and Fly, in which I reflect on Anne McCaffrey's legacy, as well as why I write M/M romance.

Do join me at the site and let me know what you think!

Also, if you're a writer, you will definitely want to check out the Savvy Authors site--amazing place for resources and webinars related to improving your craft. I'm warning you up front, though, it's addictive! :-)

Fellow author S.A. Garcia and myself are co-hosting a live chat tomorrow on the Dreamspinner Goodreads Group from 12 noon to 6 pm EST (at least, that's when I'm planning to be there--hope that's right!)

Come hang out with us while we discuss our new releases, our WIPs, and whatever floats your boat!

Questions, discussions, pinatas, and more! (Did I say pinatas? Hmmm.) Just no zombies, okay? They scare me...

Practice Makes Perfect is now available on Dreamspinner Press!

Practice Makes Perfect is making its debut on Dreamspinner Press today!

The short, sci-fi novella is about the close friendship of Rhys and Jim, and whether they are willing to risk taking their relationship one step further when so much is at stake.

Will becoming lovers threaten their working relationship--and as such, their desperate mission, and even their lives? Is life too short to keep it on hold? Both arguments are compelling, and Rhys doesn't know which way to turn.

Argh. Goodreads changes are annoying...

*sigh*

I liked Goodreads better when I received email notifications of messages. Now I have to come here frequently to check messages, and I sometimes go weeks before remembering to do that.

Not ignoring you guys, I promise!

Also annoying? The Giant Pink Box of Doom that opened when I tried to post this little bit without giving it a title, telling me I can't leave that space blank. *sigh*

A very nice review for Crying for the Moon!

Sometimes I feel a little, I don't know, like I'm boasting, when I post one of these reviews. That's not what I mean for it to be like at all.

Did you ever see the movie American Dreamer? JoBeth William's character is a much put-upon housewife who fantasizes about living the life of the heroine in a series of adventure novels. She enters a writing contest run by the author's publishing house to write a chapter 'in the style of the Rebecca Ryan novels'.

The scene in which she discovers that she actually won the contest is delightful. She had just literally fallen in through the door, spilling groceries as she trips over the mail on the floor. She collapses in a heap and finds the envelope from the contest. When she realizes she's won, that she is going to fly to Paris and meet her favorite author, she is giddy with excitement--and looks around to find someone to share it with--but she's alone in the house.

That's a little like what running across this lovely little review of Crying for the Moon was like for me. I just had to share!
