Covid Exposed The Medical-Pharmaceutical-Government Complex

The biggest increases in US life expectancy occurred early in the Twentieth Century, when people had increasing access to calories and protein, better water and sanitation. Lives lengthened sharply decades before vaccines, antibiotics or nearly any drugs were available, and a century before hospitals merged into corporate Systems.
In college, I took a Latin American Politics and Development class. When discussing Latin American medical care, Professor Eldon Kenworthy presented a deeply countercultural idea. Echoing a journal article by the scholar, Robert Ayres, Kenworthy maintained that building hospitals there costs lives. If, instead of erecting, equipping and staffing gleaming medical centers, this same money and human effort were devoted to providing clean water, good food and sanitation, the public health yield would be much greater.
United States medical history bears out Ayres’s paradox. The biggest increases in US life expectancy occurred early in the Twentieth Century, when people had increasing access to calories and protein, better water and sanitation. Lives lengthened sharply decades before vaccines, antibiotics or nearly any drugs were available, and a century before hospitals merged into corporate Systems.
Incremental American life span increases during the past fifty years reflect far less smoking, safer cars and jobs, cleaner air and less lethal wars more than they reflect medical advances. Books like Ivan Illich’s Medical Nemesis and Daniel Callahan’s Taming the Beloved Beast echo Ayres’s critique. But PBS, CNN, B & N, the NYT, et al. censor such views.
The American medical landscape has changed radically in the forty years since I learned of Ayres’ observation. America spends three times as much, as a percentage of GDP, on medical treatments as it did in the 1960s.
By 2020, America devoted 18% of its GDP to medicine. (By comparison, about 5% goes to the military). Adding the mega-costs of mass testing and vaccines etc., medical expenditures might now approach 20%. Although the US spends more than twice per capita what any other nation spends on medical care, American ranks 46th in life expectancy. US life expectancy has flatlined, despite growing medical spending and broadened medical access via the vaunted Affordable Care Act.
Though medicine’s high-cost and relatively low yield are right in front of anyone who thinks about their medical experiences and those of people they know, most never connect the dots; more medical treatments and spending are continually advocated and applauded. There’s a regressive “if it saves—or even slightly extends—one life” medical zeitgeist/ethic.
As most medical insurance is employer-based, most people don’t notice annual premium increases. Nor do they see the growing slice of tax revenues used to subsidize Med/Pharma. Thus, they continually demand more stuff, like IVF, extremely high-cost drugs, sex changes or psychotherapy, as if these were their right, and free. To say nothing of these treatments’ limited effectiveness.
As all are required to medically insure and to pay taxes, one can’t simply opt out or buy only those medical services that one thinks justify their costs. With massive, guaranteed funding sources, aggregate medical revenues will continue to climb.
Thus, Medical-Industrial-Government Complex has become a Black Hole for today’s wealth. With great money comes great power. The Med/Pharma juggernaut rules the airwaves. Nonexistent until the 1990s, hospital System and drug ads now dominate advertising. By being such big advertisers, Med/Pharma dictates news content. Analysts who point out that lavish medical expenditures don’t yield commensurate public health benefit have small audiences. Med/Pharma critics can’t afford ads.
Medicine has fed Coronamania. The TV news I’ve seen during the past 27 months painted a very skewed picture of reality. The virus has been misrepresented—by the media and government, and by MDs, like Fauci, often posing in white jackets— as a runaway train that’s indiscriminately decimating the American populace. Instead of putting into perspective the virus’s clear demographic risk profile and the very favorable survival odds—even without treatment, at all ages, or promoting various forms of contra-Covid self-care, including weight loss—the media and medical establishment incited universal panic, and promoted counterproductive mass isolation, mass masking, mass testing, and treatment with ventilators and expensive, often harmful anti-virals.
Later, mass injections were added to the “Covid-crushing” armamentarium. While the shots created many billionaires, and greatly enriched other Pfizer and Moderna stockholders, they failed, as Biden and many others had promised, to stop either infection or the spread. All of the many whom I know who have been infected in the past six months were vaxxed.
Many—whose voices are suppressed by mainstream media—observe that the shots have worsened outcomes, by driving the development of variants, weakening or confusing immune systems, and causing serious near-term injuries.
Further, people blindly, ardently believed in the shots simply because they were marketed as “vaccines” by bureaucrats wearing medical garb. Despite the shots’ failure and the failure of other “mitigation” measures like lockdowns, masking and testing, many refuse to concede that Med/Pharma has had much—overwhelmingly negative— influence over the society and economy and public health during Coronamania. Nonetheless, many billions of dollars have been—and are still being—spent to advertise shots that most people don’t want.
The Covid overreaction has to some extent also piggy-backed on TV programs that have, for decades, glorified medicine in TV shows like Dr. Kildare, Marcus Welby, M.D., Medical Center, MASH, Gray’s Anatomy and House. Wearing white coats connotes virtue, just as did wearing white hats in Western movies.
Given the cumulative PR onslaught of the ads and shows, medicine is widely seen as more effective than it is in real life. A few years ago, I heard some woman-in-the-street say, during a TV news clip, “If they make me change my doctor, it will be like losing my right arm.”
Many hold such polar views. Medicine is the new American religion. Given such fervent belief in medicine’s importance and the sense of entitlement regarding expanding medical treatments, government and insurance money is relentlessly overallocated to medicine.
Do these expenditures improve human outcomes? During the first Scrubs episode, resident J.D. complains to his mentor that being a doctor was different than he had envisioned; most of his patients were “old and kind of checked out.”

The main focus of this lecture is the shifting alliances between the steppes nomads and the Byzantine Empire between the 6th and 10th century AD. During the reign of the emperor Justinian (527-565 AD), the Avar Khan formed an alliance with Constantinople against the western Görturk Khanate. The latter sought to annex them as a colony. However by 575 AD, the Avars, having migrated to the Hungarian plains, had abandoned this alliance and were conducting periodic raids on the Balkan provinces of the Byzantine empire.
In a constant state of war, Byzantine forces simultaneously fought to reclaim provinces of the former eastern Roman empire (in Italy, North Africa, Armenia, Syria and the Middle East) and to repel repeated attacks by the Sassanid Khanate (Persia). In 591 AD, there was a temporary halt to the Persian-Byzantines war after the Sassanid shah was deposed and Emperor Maurice lent him troops to help him regain his throne.
Between 602-626 AD, Persia and the Avars formed an alliance and came close to conquering the Byzantine Empire. However this time the Byzantines formed an alliance with the Göturks, whose rout of the Sassanid Khanate enabled the Byzantine empire to assimilate Asia Minor, the Balkans and Italy.
The Lombards* eventually allied with the Avars to reclaim the Balkans, opening the territory to Slav settlement.**
In 790 AD, the Franks reunited western Europe under Charlemagne, who conquered the Avars in 796 and ended their presence as an organized political entity.
In the 9th and 10 century, a Turkic tribe called the Bulgars combined a Slavic infantry and a nomad cavalry to repeatedly sack the western Byzantine province and became a major power in the Balkans.
In 864 AD, the Bulgar ruler Khan Boris converted to Christianity after two monks created the Cyrillic script and translated the scriptures into the Bulgar language. He became known as Czar Boris following his conversion.
His son Vladimir raided Constantinople to pressure the emperor to offer him a royal princess in marriage. In the ensuring war, the Balkans were re-taken by the Byzantine Empire.
*The Lombands were a Germanic people originating near the Elbe River who ruled most of the Italian peninsula from 568-774 AD.

New Zealand Doctors Demand Police ‘Investigate Deaths Following Covid Vaccinations’

“The situation is getting out of control,” New Zealand doctors warn: The list of probable deaths due to the Covid “vaccinations” are getting longer and longer; the doctors are talking about a “humanitarian crisis.” First, in an open letter, they denounced the actions of the regulatory authorities. Then, they went directly to the police to finally demand an investigation and an end to the unspeakable suffering caused by the Covid “vaccines.” But the police prefer to ignore such appeals. The damage that has been done is not “significant” enough for them.
Since the arrival of the gene-therapy injections, New Zealand has pushed to have 90% of its population receive two injections. In December, the country successfully reached its milestone. To achieve its 90% “vaccination” goal, Dr. Monchy explained that every citizen who received the injection was bribed with a voucher of 20 NZD (12 euros). At the same time, doctors have been given 359 NZD (216 euros) per vaccine.
Demand Police Investigate Covid ‘Vaccine’ DeathsThe New Zealand Doctors Speaking Out With Science (NZDSOS) fight against coercion and censorship in the context of Covid vaccinations. In a lengthy open letter, they described the consequences of compulsory vaccination and the suppression of unpleasant facts. The Health Forum NZ People’s Database, run by volunteers, now contains almost 500 deaths with a temporal and presumed causal connection to the Covid vaccination. The group has made part of the list available to the public, with changed names to protect the privacy of the victims. However, the doctors have sent an unedited list to the New Zealand police.
To the NZ Police, who have the actual patient’s names, we say this: It is not enough to hide behind apparently controlled, failed or corrupted government institutions. You are here to defend the public good. Period. You are supposed to know wrong from right; lies from truth.
The doctors are urgently calling for investigations – not least because many reports on the alleged vaccine deaths show connections to the Covid shots should be covered up.
We are alleging death by regulatory failure, as you know. You will see in the summarised death reports (representing a third of over 450 available) that there are some allegations of professionals and Police deviating from the usual processes that should follow a possible death from medical treatment. Of course, the unredacted list we give you is absolutely confidential except as needed for your formal investigations.
However, the group also notes that police have already ignored three open letters from their legal colleagues, New Zealand Lawyers Speaking Out with Science. Police commanders are said to have dismissed the accusations of critical experts because no level of actual damage had yet been reached. But then, what are all the people who suddenly died just days after their Covid shot? Irrelevant? Expendable?
Victims of all ages, from teenagers to seniors, are listed on the group’s website. The majority of people were previously healthy, but some also had previous illnesses and were therefore “in need of the vaccine,” according to the left’s narrative. However, sick people were excluded from the vaccination studies, and consequently, no data on safety are available. The authorities’ ignorance is a slap in the face to the victims’ families while allowing the list of deaths to continue growing unchecked.

Some of the deaths on the list include:Eddie, age 13, Wellington. He died in his sleep several nights after receiving the jab. He died at an event with some of his school buddies. presumably, he is the teen mentioned here by MOH
Joanna. 15-year-old Auckland. A friend’s mum reported the death. Joanna collapsed in her bathroom; her heart had stopped. She died on the way to the hospital or while there.
Julio, age 19, Feb ’22. Known epilepsy but had a seizure and DIED 2 HOURS AFTER 2nd jab. Shouldn’t this be investigated? Unfortunately, all medical conditions were excluded from clinical trials.
Timothy, 33, Paraparaumu. Died of a heart attack at home two days after jab.
Janice, 35, Taupare, healthy, was found dead in the bathroom approx 12 days after the shot.
Aneela, in her 30s, died suddenly during childbirth in Auckland, a week prior had her jab. She was found to have blood clots. Her baby was delivered by cesarean and died at four days.
Rory Nairn, 26, of Dunedin. Died of myocarditis on 17/11. The MOH has acknowledged this as one of 3 vaccine-related deaths up to this point. They implied he delayed seeking medical help.
Piotr, 53, Auckland. He was found dead by his mother sometime shortly after the first dose. Unexplained
Tongan couple, South Auckland, BOTH died mid-March 2021, within 12 hours of each other. 5 children left who have been awarded compensation during teenage years. Names withheld. Lawyers confirm the case.
Louis, age 29, is a keen soccer player. Sudden chest pain, then collapsed and died after practice. Healthy and energetic. Leaves a young family. Joins many dead athletes around the world.
In Dunedin, Liam, age 17, died after rapid onset rare autoimmune disease following vaccination.
Claire, 33, Christchurch, sudden post-vaccine death just after Xmas day 2021. Shocking and sudden. His elder care company mandated it.
Annabelle, age 51, at home in Christchurch, was found dead in bed in October 2021 by her partner. Had 2nd jab 2-3 days before.
Clarice, 54, Rangiora, died three weeks after 2nd jab. Sudden. Leaves 6 children.
Morty, Karori, age 21. A sudden medical event at home after the first jab.
Florence, 42, Wellington. Unexpected fatal brain blood clot sometime after 1st jab on 16/7/21—health care worker.
Hettie, age 50, Pahiatua. Unexpected death March 2022, just after having his 2nd or booster. They had an inherited neuromuscular disorder that was not assessed before roll-out in the brief Pfizer trial. One of your authors has the same condition.
Louisa, 67, Manawatu. She had known heart issues prior, but her cardiologist assured her it would be safe and effective for her as she was scared to be jabbed. Instead, she collapsed the same morning and died in ED later that day.
Anne, 42. Invercargill was fit and healthy. One day she sat up in bed with a head rush. Then ten days after the 2nd jab in February 2022, she died. The autopsy showed no known cause.
Aio, age 16. Schoolgirl from Whangarei. Died in December 2021, 2 weeks after vaccination, of cerebral hemorrhage and blood clots. Some hospital workers privately agreed that the vaccine killed them.
Isabella Alexander, 17 years old, died in September 2021. The cause of death was multiple blood clots. She collapsed in her father’s arms while running. She had been feeling unwell for a week after the 1st vaccination.

US Biowarfare: Fever-Carrying Mosquitoes Studied in Ukrainian Labs May Have Been Used Against Cuba

The Russian Defence Ministry earlier reported discovering files in seized bio laboratories in Ukraine which indicated that scientists were carrying out tests on dangerous pathogens with the presumed intent to use them as components in biological weapons. The ministry said these laboratories were funded by the US for over a decade.
The Ukrainian biological laboratories studied fever-carrying mosquitoes Aedes – the same genus of insects that was presumably used by the US to spark a pandemic of type 2 dengue in Cuba in the 1970s and 1980s, head of the Russian Armed Forces’ Radiation, Chemical and Biological Protection Unit Igor Kirillov has stated.
“The facts of the use of Aedes mosquitoes as biological weapons, exactly the same species with which the US Pentagon worked in Ukraine, were recorded in a class-action lawsuit by Cuban citizens against the US government and were submitted for reviewing of the signatories to the Convention on the Prohibition of Biological Weapons”, Kirillov said.
The head of the military branch recalled that the epidemic infected 345,000 people in Cuba, with 158 of them dying. Kirillov further stressed that type 2 dengue has never been registered in the Caribbean basin and that the only place on the island where there were there were no infections was the US military base of Guantanamo.
US officials denied any involvement in the outbreak, responding to Havana’s accusations.
According to Kirillov, Ukrainian scientists took part in the Pentagon’s P-268 programme aimed at creating new viruses that could be carried by the invasive Aedes species of mosquitoes. The viral preparation was created at the Taras Shevchenko National University in Kiev and transported to the US for field testing, the lieutenant general said.
Kirillov read out correspondence between the Executive Director of the Ukrainian Science and Technology Centre Andrew Hood and the US Department of State regarding the launch of the research. “More than 30% of the participants are former scientists with experience in the development of weapons of mass destruction,” Hood said as per the document read by Kirillov.
Moscow expressed great concern over documents seized in the bio laboratories in Ukraine by Russian soldiers during the special military operation. These documents suggested that Ukraine and the Pentagon cooperated for over a decade in research into dangerous pathogens, which could potentially be used in biological weapons.
Moscow accused Washington and Kiev of conspiring to create biological weapon components on Russia’s doorstep with the intention of then unleashing them against the country. Washington did not deny cooperation with the Ukrainian laboratories, but did not confirm that it had engaged in biological weapon research there.
US Tested Neuromodulators on Mentally Ill Ukrainians

Employees of the lab in the village of Sorokovka in Kharkov region tested highly active neuromodulators that caused irreversible damage to the central nervous system as part of the US military bio programme, Lt. Gen. Igor Kirillov, the head of the radiation, chemical and biological defense of the Russian Armed Forces, said.
Sorokovka hosted a branch of the Merefa laboratory, built at the expense of the Pentagon, he said. In Merefa, laboratory staff performed experiments on patients from psychiatric clinics in Kharkov.
“In accordance with the available information, highly active substances of neuromodulators were tested on socially vulnerable citizens of Ukraine, which caused, among other things, irreversible damage to the central nervous system. This is a clear violation of the norms of international treaties in the field of human rights,” he said.
This laboratory in Sorokovka, according to the Russian Defense Ministry, was listed as a company for the production of food additives, “with the start of a special military operation, the equipment of the branch under the control of the SBU was taken to the western regions of Ukraine.”
Experiments on mentally ill people in Ukraine have been ongoing since at least 2011, one of the curators, US citizen Linda Oporto Alharoun, has repeatedly visited the laboratory near Kharkov, Kirillov said.
He recalled that earlier the ministry had reported that employees of the biological laboratory in Merefa, built with US funding, had conducted experiments on patients of psychiatric clinics in Kharkov in the period from 2019 to 2021. One of the organizers of this illegal activity was US citizen Alharoun.
“Thanks to the documents obtained during the special military operation, we became aware that such studies have been carried out in Ukraine since at least 2011, and Alharoun has repeatedly visited the branch of the Merefa laboratory, built at the expense of the Pentagon in the village of Sorokovka, Kharkov region,” he said.
Kirillov added that the United States had confirmed that the Pentagon and biolabs in Ukraine were connected.
“In addition, I would like to draw your attention to the fact that on June 9, the Pentagon’s website published an official statement on US biological activities in the post-Soviet space. The US administration acknowledged the fact of financing 46 Ukrainian biological laboratories and the connection of the US Department of Defense with the Ukrainian Science and Technology Center,” Kirillov told a briefing, adding that Russia has documents proving between the Ukrainian Defense Ministry and the US on biological laboratories.
Infectious diseases have become more frequent in Donbass after the start of funding of Ukrainian biological programs by the Pentagon in 2015, Kirillov revealed, adding that the incidence of tularemia in the Donetsk People’s Republic increased by 9.5 times in 2016 when compared to 2007.

29-Year-Old’s Career Came ‘Crashing’ Down After Pfizer COVID Vaccine Injury
By Michael Nevradakis, Ph.D. In an exclusive interview with The Defender, Hayley Lopez, who developed postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome at age 29 after her first dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, can no longer work at the job she loves because she can’t pass the required medical tests.
At 29, Hayley Lopez had a promising career she had worked 12 years to achieve, as an air traffic controller at one of the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) busiest facilities in the U.S.On Oct. 8, 2021, that career came crashing to a halt 15 minutes after Lopez got her first, and only, dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine.
In an exclusive interview with The Defender, Lopez, now 30, shared her story, including the injuries she sustained and the challenges she experienced trying to get a diagnosis and treatment.
“About 15 minutes after the shot, I noticed arm and chest pain,” Lopez said. “Then, I noticed dizziness, shortness of breath, memory issues and stuttering within three days — and that’s when I knew something was really wrong.”
Lopez sought help at an urgent care facility, and while there, she said, drifted in and out of consciousness.
“My other symptoms include twitching, nerve pain, fatigue, high blood pressure, high heart rate, palpitations, lightheadedness, a feeling of vertigo and migraines,” Lopez said.
“I still suffer from all symptoms now, eight months later.”
Lopez didn’t want the vaccine, but under the Biden administration’s executive order, federal workers were required to get the vaccine or be fired.
“I want people to know that I was just a normal, healthy 29-year-old trying to navigate life,” Lopez said.
“I worked very hard to get to where I am in my career and at the time, I felt as though my world would end if I lost my job. I got the shot to keep my job and now it may end my career.”
For Lopez, the symptoms she experienced almost immediately after receiving the Pfizer shot were just part of her troubles. She also had difficulty locating a doctor who could diagnose her condition and who wouldn’t dismiss her concerns that the symptoms were vaccine-related.
“I could honestly go on and on about the healthcare system and how terrible you’re treated when you are vaccine-injured,” Lopez said. “I went to a total of 32 appointments with 17 different doctors in seven months.”
The first two doctors she saw in urgent care told her it was a coincidence that the symptoms developed immediately after the vaccine.
“They seemed more concerned with assuring me it wasn’t from the vaccine than treating me,” she said.
Some of the “diagnoses” she received were dismissive — just “stress-related,” doctors told her — while others bordered on sexist.
“My tests kept coming back normal so my doctor assumed it was ‘just anxiety,’” Lopez said. “I was even told by specialists that it was because of ‘my cycle’ and that ‘a lot of women have the same complaints.’”
According to Lopez, she received a series of misdiagnoses, including costochondritis, multisystem inflammatory syndrome, long COVID, anxiety and depression.
“I left every doctor’s appointment with tears in my eyes because I knew they were wrong,” Lopez said. “I knew something was wrong with me and I knew it wasn’t just in my head.”
Lopez got a diagnosis after she happened to read about postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), a condition that affects blood flow and can result in symptoms such as lightheadedness, fainting and increased heartbeat, symptoms which appear when standing up from a reclined position.
“The first time I read about POTS, I cried because it was like reading about myself,” Lopez said. “I discovered POTS on my own. I did not get any information or guidance from a doctor.”
When she finally went to a doctor who specializes in POTS, “He knew right away that I had POTS and understood my struggles with previous doctors, because all his POTS patients go through the same things,” Lopez said.
POTS has prevented Lopez from working, she said:
“I am still employed by the FAA, but I am unable to work. I have to maintain a medical clearance, same as airline pilots, to do my job.
“My medical clearance has been taken away and I don’t know if I’ll ever get it back.
“I got the shot to keep the job that I love and now that same shot is keeping me from medically being able to do my job.”
Lopez received some financial support from the federal worker’s compensation program — 45 days of continuation of pay — as the injuries she sustained were deemed a workplace injury. However, she is still awaiting approval for further compensation beyond the initial 45 days.
Lopez reported her injuries to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS). She heard back from VAERS “about six months after I reported it, and they requested current information about my vaccine injury.”
However, as of this writing, one of the misdiagnoses she received continues to appear on her VAERS file.
“My condition hasn’t been updated in VAERS since I sent in additional information at their request almost two months ago.” The report still lists her misdiagnosis, she said.
The latest available data from VAERS show 429 reports of POTS with 310 cases attributed to Pfizer, 99 reports attributed to Moderna and 20 reports to Johnson & Johnson. The reports were submitted between Dec. 14, 2020, and June 3, 2022.
Lopez said her injuries continue to impact “every aspect” of her life.
“On a bad day, I have trouble walking from the couch to my kitchen to get a glass of water,” she said. “On a good day, I can’t walk for more than two minutes, so I can’t go to the store or take my dog for a walk. I’m lucky if I’m able to cook dinner.”

While Lopez said she is unaware of any other air traffic controllers who have had a similar experience to hers, she is aware of “a few pilots” injured by the vaccines.
“I’m sure there are many people within the aviation industry afraid to come forward with vaccine injuries, as they will lose their medical clearances and in turn, lose their jobs.”
For Lopez, her experience illuminates the importance of raising awareness of vaccine injuries, and of conditions such as POTS.
“Awareness for POTS needs to be spread throughout the medical community,” she said. “The only thing that’s rare about vaccine injury is that it’s rarely talked about. POTS has no cure and can be lifelong.”
What We Learned from Hating the Unvaccinated
The battlefield is still warm, following Canada’s war on the unvaccinated. The mandates have let up, and both sides stumble back into something that looks like the old normal — except that there is a fresh and present injury done to the people we tried to break. And no one wants to talk about it.
Only weeks ago, it was the admitted goal of our own leaders to make life unlivable for the unvaccinated. And as a deputized collective, we force-multiplied that pain, taking the fight into our families, friendships, and workplaces. Today, we face the hard truth that none of it was justified — and, in doing that, uncover a precious lesson.
It was a quick slide from righteousness to cruelty, and however much we might blame our leaders for the push, we’re accountable for stepping into the trap despite better judgment.
We knew that waning immunity put vast numbers of the fully vaccinated on par with the shrinking minority of unvaccinated, yet we marked them for special persecution. We said they hadn’t “done the right thing” by turning their bodies over to state care — even though we knew that principled opposition to such a thing is priceless in any circumstance. And we truly let ourselves believe that going into another ineffectual lockdown would be their fault, not the fault of toxic policy.
And so it was by the willful ignorance of science, civics, and politics that we squeezed the unvaccinated to the degree that we did.
We invented a new rubric for the good citizen and — failing to be one ourselves — took pleasure in scapegoating anyone who didn’t measure up. After months of engineered lockdowns, having someone to blame and to burn simply felt good.
So we cannot hold our heads high, as if believing we had logic, love, or truth on our side while we viciously wished death upon the unvaccinated. The best we can do is sit in the awareness of our rabid inhumanity for having cast so many aside.
Most of us who pilloried the noncompliant did it because it seemed like certain victory, like the unvaccinated would never make it through unbroken. Indeed, the promised new normal looked unbeatable, so we sided with it and made punching bags out of the holdouts.
But betting against them has been a scathing embarrassment for many of us who’ve now learned that the mandates only had the power we gave them. It was not through quiet compliance that we avoided endless domination by pharmaceutical companies and medical checkpoints at every doorway. It was thanks to the people we tried to tear down.
So for those of us not among the hopeless few that pray for the return of mandates, we might find some inner gratitude for the unvaccinated. We took the bait by hating them, but their perseverance bought us the time to see we were wrong.
It seems right now like the mandates will return, but this time there’s hope that more of us will see them for what they are: a rising authoritarianism that has no concern for our wellbeing. If there’s an enemy, it’s the confidence game of state power and the transparent attempt to tear us apart. Heeding that looks like our best shot at redemption.

Alleged Instigators of Capitol Riot Indicted For Sedition but Questions Remain About Government Infiltration and Incitement
[Source: revolver.news]By Jeremy KuzmarovCovert Action MagazineLeaders of the far-right Proud Boys group, including its national chairman, Enrique Tarrio, have been charged with seditious conspiracy for plotting to storm the U.S. Capitol to obstruct the certification of Joe Biden’s election win over Donald Trump on January 6, 2021.While this is certainly a move in the right direction, the Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the U.S. Capitol needs to make a full investigation of right-wing charges about government infiltration that could have involved inciting the mob to commit acts of violence.This is crucial because the right, along with Trump, uses these charges to minimize or dismiss what happened on January 6th. If the government knew about what was going to happen or its agents played a role in directing and/or inciting acts of violence we need to know what happened and why.
One of the main instigators of the riot appears to be Ray Epps, a sixty-year old former Marine Sergeant from Queen Creek, Arizona, who has not yet been charged.
Epps had been put on the FBI’s Most Wanted list after the January 6 riot though was curiously removed from that list in July 2021—after Epps allegedly called an FBI tip line to tell them that he was trying to calm the rioters. A video, however, captured Epps provoking the rioters and even urging them to enter the Capitol building.
Trump Stirs Up MobWhether you label it a coup attempt or not, the January 6 riot was a criminal act that represents a failed effort to undermine the peaceful transition from one plutocrat to the next. The rioters broke into the Capitol building and U.S. Senate chamber unlawfully and threatened violence against elected government officials.
As the January 6 committee seems intent on demonstrating, Donald Trump played a key role in instigating the riot by stirring up his base with [as yet] “unverified claims” of a rigged election.

Did the Deep State Try and Capitalize?The question lingers, however, as to whether “deep state” forces were intent on capitalizing on the polarized political atmosphere and growth of right-wing extremism to try and advance their own interests. In addition to routine surveillance, might there be additional motives for planting provocateurs within the Proud Boys, Oath Keepers and other right-wing groups loyal to Trump who helped to instigate and carry out the riot?
The latter scenario is not hard to imagine given that The New York Times has reported on the presence of FBI informants within the Proud Boys who marched on the U.S. Capitol, and given the history of FBI infiltration of left and right wing groups and use of agent provocateurs.
The alleged plot to blow up the Michigan statehouse and kidnap and/or kill Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer is only one of the more recent examples—in which the court threw out the FBI’s case and scathingly denounced its blatant entrapment and fomenting of a fake plot whose purpose was to burnish the Bureau’s reputation by thwarting a threat of its own fabrication.
The very fact that Epps had been mysteriously removed from the FBI’s Most Wanted list when he was caught on camera helping to provoke the riot raises reasonable questions as to whether the FBI was protecting one of its agents or had “turned” him, which is the way local police, no less than the FBI, procure their informants and assets.

House January 6 Committee Needs to Extend InvestigationIf the House January 6 Committee is committed to exposing the truth, it should investigate the reason behind why the U.S. Justice Department has not as of yet indicted one of the main instigators of the January 6 riot and why he was removed from the FBI’s Most Wanted list.
By failing to investigate Epps and the mysteries surrounding him, the January 6 Committee leaves itself susceptible to the Republican charge that it is a partisan body (the committee consists of seven Democrats and two anti-Trump Republicans); investigating Epps would in turn add credibility to its efforts to hold Donald Trump accountable for stirring the rioters because it would erase the perception of a cover up that Trump and his followers will likely seize upon during election season.
Related to the mystery about Epps is a question about the numbers of FBI informants and possible provocateurs among the Proud Boys and rioters on January 6, which should also be investigated.[2]
There is also the question about the delayed police response to the riots and lack of proper planning by law enforcement and the U.S. military when the threat of violence on that day was known to be real and telegraphed in advance.
Congress should additionally investigate the circumstances surrounding the beating of Ryan Samsel in prison, and as of yet unexplained death of Brian Sicknick, 42, whom the medical examiner claimed died of natural causes though was reported to have suffered from two strokes after allegedly being sprayed with some kind of chemical irritant.[3]
Other oddities begging for more investigation are a) the death of police officers Kevin Greeson, 55, and Benjamin Phillips, 50, who were said to have died naturally of hypertensive and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease; and b) the death of Rosanne Boyland from a drug overdose which seems very strange under the circumstances—especially given that Boyland looked to be in good health in a photo taken just before the riot started.
Finally, Congress should investigate the connection between the pipe bombs that were planted at Republican and Democratic Party headquarters on January 5 and the January 6 Capitol riot.
