These new dice shipped to our distribution partners in August and can be found in game stores worldwide. We encourage you to first try special ordering the dice at your local game store; stores are the backbone of the community and the best place to try new games. December 16, 2022: Someone Is Late To The Game? No Problem! Pull Out A Filler!

Filler games, long a staple in the collections of many gamers, are those titles that are light enough – and fast enough! – to serve as entertainment before the main event. Are you and your friends getting together for a night of Dungeons & Dragons , but one or two players are running late? Turn to your filler games for an enjoyable diversion as you wait for the stragglers to arrive!

There's no shortage of fantastic filler games out there, from the classic Farkle (which we expanded with Munchkin Farkle ) to the joy of Yahtzee: Steal the Deal (which continues to live in my backpack for all trips). If you require a filler game or two for your library of casual, fast-playing games, we've got several to choose from, including:

Zombie Dice

After over a decade on the market, Zombie Dice continues to give players a chance to know the pleasure of consuming many brains while trying to avoid getting blasted. Since its release in 2010, we've expanded the game, and it is currently available in three versions:the basic gamea Deluxe edition with updated dice and a dice bagand the Horde Edition that includes the game's two expansions.

The Deluxe edition may be the most portable of the three; everything fits in the included dice bag, and the dry erase cards make it easy to track your scores!Random Fun Generator

The folks at SAHM Reviews have been kind enough to feature many of our games on their various gift lists this holiday season! During this time of year, SAHM is one of the best resources for what's new in the gaming industry, and they break the games up into useful categories for gift-giving assistance. For instance, they have a guide for fans of various pop culture franchises, and it features Steve Jackson's Munchkin Presents Batman ! 

Maybe you're in the mood for a dice game? Both The 12 Dice of Christmas  and Munchkin Farkle made the Best Dice Game list. And my favorite category is Family Games, where you can always find something to bring to the holiday game table for gamers and non-gamers alike. December 12, 2022: Holiday Hijinks

It's that time of year . . . the time when I try to sell you stuff with a line about "stocking stuffers." So, cutting to the chase . . . what have we got with a Christmas theme? Bad Christmas – This is brand new . . . the traditional office game of "Dirty Santa," executed as a card game, with art by Greg Hyland. Very quick, very silly. Anybody for an inflatable birdhouse? (Don't laugh. I saw in the store today, for real, a yodeling pickle. I made the mistake of pushing the Try Me button. It worked exactly as advertised, unfortunately.) The 12 Dice of Christmas – Also brand new, but not exactly. This is the game system you saw in Z-Shot , with the Bullet Dice . I actually wrote it first as a family game, and now it's back to those roots. It's not totally unlike Yahtzee , but there is interaction (by which I mean shin-kicking) between the players. Also, 12 shiny red dice, which you know you want.If you enjoy Deadly Doodles , there is a score pad with a special Santa-face dungeon.We've done various Christmas-themed Munchkin sets over the years. December 9, 2022: Car Wars Sixth Edition Core Set In Stores Now

The anticipated Car Wars Sixth Edition Core Set is joining the family of titles hitting local game stores now, just in time for the holidays! This jumbo box of goodies contains more than enough for four autoduellists, including 12 car miniatures, bases, four dashboards, and over 200 upgrade cards. This box is pretty much both  Two-Player Starter Sets mixed into one, so if you're looking for a multiplayer experience, the Core Set is a great place to start. 

With this release, we've got the full retail line for Car Wars Sixth Edition that will be available at game stores, at least for now! So if you're looking for a good entry point and plan on growing your collection, the Core Set is the way to go. Once you've gotten a few games under your belt, consider looking at Miniatures Sets 1 - 4 , adding even more minis and upgrades to your garage.
