January 7, 2023: Illuminati Now On Steam

The classic Illuminati has come to Steam, with updates! Based on Illuminati: New World Order , this digital game brings lots of new art and a few gameplay tweaks, but the same classic feel. Conquer the world . . . .before someone else does! We've worked closely with Derek and the team at RadioFree.net and are really excited for fans to see the result of their hard work. 

Currently the game is available for PC and Mac. This is a great time to provide feedback to the developers if you notice any bugs or things you think could be improved. They definitely intend to develop and add features . . . and lots of new cards, of course!

We use our Facebook page to share everything . . . not just about existing games, but also photos of prototypes and unannounced games. As we work to expand our ways of selling games to retailers, we've opened up an account at Faire. What is Faire? They describe their site as "The online wholesale marketplace connecting independent retailers and brands around the world" . . . and in our experience, they're providing exactly that. 

Faire handles the acceptance of orders and then our team ships those orders. There are several perks for retailers who use the site, and many tabletop game publishers are offering titles at the site, so we recommend checking it out if you own a game store and are looking for another supplier.

January 4, 2023: Kickstarter Reports, January 2023 Update

2022 was a great year for our Kickstarter efforts, with a total of twelve projects run across our two accounts. Of those twelve, all but three have been delivered to the backers, while the remaining open projects are on schedule. 2023 will be another year in which we take several new ideas to Kickstarter, with Wiz-War on the launchpad for our next campaign!

January 3, 2023: Munchkin Polyhedral Dice In Final Production

It has taken us a very, very long time to get to this point, but we can now report that the upcoming Munchkin polyhedral dice sets are in the final stages of manufacturing and will reach stores in 2023. (Or, if you wish, you may preorder the dice today!)

We've encountered numerous delays and frustrations as we worked through the project, but now everything is shifting into the final packing and assembly . . . and then we have to wait for the dice to move across the world to our primary warehouse in Georgia.

The dice are available in four different colors and each pack includes new Munchkin cards to toss into your classic Munchkin games.

Or, obviously, you can use the dice with any game that requires polyhedral dice. 

It is past time for us to introduce a new Munchkin roleplaying game, isn't it?

January 2, 2023: The Rose Labyrinth Kickstarter Closing Today

Calling all adventurers and gardeners! The Rose Labyrinth Kickstarter closes today, so it's your last chance to back. We've included two full-color 24" x 24" hex map boards, lore, scenarios, and over 100 double-sided tokens to enhance your campaign in The Fantasy Trip or your favorite hex-based tabletop game.  If you've been on the fence (maybe hedge, in this case), then now is the time to jump in and start the year off with a great new adventure. January 1, 2023: Tally Mark D6 Dice Set Now In Stores

Our library of custom six-sided dice expands again, this time with the Tally Mark d6 Dice Set ! These shipped to our distribution partners in August and can be found in game stores worldwide. If your local store doesn't stock the Steve Jackson Games dice sets, you may either special order or, if you wish, order at Warehouse 23. Please start by special ordering at your local store; retailers are the backbone of the community and the best place to try new games. Check our store finder to locate the game stores close to you!

What will you tally with the Tally Mark d6 Dice Set? Dragons slain? Monarchs overthrown? Perhaps Orc lords vanquished, or all the times the rogue betrayed you? So many things to count . . .

December 31, 2022: Munchkin Digital Update

The fine folks at Dire Wolf have released their most recent Munchkin Digital patch notes, and they've made a few improvements that players have requested as well as some bug fixes. Some of the major changes and additions: You can now disable the timer. But don't log off; there's still some timing mechanism to avoid idle players. Leaderboards now display info on how points are scored.French and Spanish are now supported.Helper is now removed when Gazebo enters combat via Wandering Monster.Truly Obnoxious Curse can now discard Items that provide no strength if a player has no higher-strength Items available.Flight Spell no longer allows player to discard more than three cards for its effect.Monsters removed by Illusion now have negative effects removed (such as -4 strength to Elves).You can find full patch notes from this update as well as the previous update over on Steam. Please keep playing and providing feedback; it helps Dire Wolf make the game better. Plus, it means we get even more players to join us in Kicking Down the Door!
