Biblical Chamber Identified in Jerusalem?

In the Spring 2024 issue of Biblical Archaeology Review, authors Yuval Gadot and Yiftah Shalev reported on their recent archaeological excavations on the area adjacent to the west side of the Temple Mount. Now, the chamber that was uncovered is technically in the city of David, in what could be termed the suburbs of the temple. Located on the northwestern slope of the southeastern ridge a short distance from the Ophel (a term generally used to refer to the area between the city of David t...

Celebrating A Life Dedicated to the Lord: Beverly LaHaye

Beverly LaHaye, founder of Concerned Women for America, passed away yesterday at the age of 94.

Beverly LaHaye

Beverly LaHaye is a poster child for the amazing things God can do through a willing heart. While in the trenches of motherhood, Beverly began to see a transformation in her life as she sought to serve the Lord both in her home and wherever else God would lead. And lead he did. Beverly would go on to found Concerned Women for America, an organization created to advocate for womens rights, family va...

NAIAs Bold Step: Honoring Biological Differences in Athletics

A recent news article actually highlighted some positive news on the transgender athlete front. The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) issued a ruling that will only allow athletes to participate in NAIA-sponsored womens sports if their biological sex assigned at birth is female1 (and they added the qualifier that such athletes have not begun hormone therapy).

Now, the number of biological women attempting to compete in sporting events and gain an advantage by taki...

Vegetarian Animals?

When guests come to the Creation Museum, some are surprised to see exhibits depicting animals as vegetarian. But we do this because the Bible is very explicit that before sin entered the worldbefore the fallanimals and man were vegetarian.

And God said, Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. You shall have them for food. And to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the heavens and to everyth...

Deaf Days Returns with Special Event

Abundant life is all around us here in northern Kentucky. New plants are springing up, flowers are beginning to bloom, and crowds of people are visiting both the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum. This time of year is exciting, and all this life and energy is an encouraging reminder of our purpose to help Christians defend their faith and proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ.

I am so excited about the upcoming conference, Deaf Days: Light of Life, which will take place April 1920. This ...

Worshipping Dinosaurs?

In the book of Romans, we read how those who reject God as Creator worship the creation instead.

And exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.

Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen. (Romans 1:232...

Creation Basics: Was Noahs Flood Local or Global?

I often hear from Christians who dont believe Noahs flood was global. Theyll say it was just a local flood in the Mesopotamian area. Why?

Genesis is very clear that it was a global flood.

Well, its not because of what the Bible saysGenesis is very clear (as we will see in a moment) that it was a global flood. The idea of a local flood actually comes from starting with the words of evolutionary scientists and interpreting the Bible through that lens. The local flood idea in our time...

Why Did Scientists Create Severely Deformed Mouse Embryo with Six Legs?

A recent news article detailed an experiment by developmental biologist Moiss Mallo and his colleagues who were studying a receptor protein important in embryonic developmentTgfbr1. The article states,

The team inactivated the gene responsible for producing the protein in mouse embryos that were around the halfway point of development, intending to investigate how this change affected the developing spinal cord.

Instead, they found something unexpected: one of the bioengineered embryos had t...

Man Arrested for Child Pornography Before He Could Abuse Surrogate Baby

[Editors note: This blog contains material not suitable for all ages.]

In an extremely disturbing news story from LifeSite News, a well-known Chicago-area veterinarian, Adam King, was arrested for one count of possession and distribution of child pornography. King is in a gay marriage (theres actually only one marriagethe one God createda man and a woman) with another man and was also allegedly charged with drugging children in order to sexually assault them.

According to severa...

Another Successful Answers for Women Conference!

Last week, we hosted our sold-out Answers for Women conference in the Answers Center at the Ark Encounter. Women from all over the country (44 states) and some from other countries (including Australia) came hungry to learn more about overcoming the war on women for the glory of God.

Because the conference was fully booked a few days after registration was announced, we added a second conference at the beginning of the week. Attendees were able to hear presentations from a wide variety of speake...
