Madams Been Murdered . . . at the Creation Museum?

Our Christian school, Answers Academy, loves to teach drama as a part of its curricula. Their annual dinner theatre was held in Legacy Hall at the Creation Museum recently, and what a fun time it was as the students performed Madams Been MurderedTea Will Be Late.

Mally and I were amazed at the talent of the kids and how they remembered all those lines! It was an evening of great food and fellowship and lots and lots of laughs . . . and a murder was even solved! Great job, students!

IVF Modernizes Ancient Eugenic Practices of Selective Breeding

Today, Monday, May 6, marks the last day of the Days of Remembrance of the Victims of the Holocaust in the US. In Hebrew, the day is often called Yom HaShoah (which means Holocaust Day) to remember the more than six million Jews murdered in Nazi Germanys concentration camps. But since thats not the topic of this article, why did I mention it? Well, because a recent news item looked at IVF, abortion, and eugenics in connection with the recent Alabama Supreme Court case.
As I stated in the a...

The Horse and His Boy Returns in November

I am so excited to share that the Logos Theatre from the Academy of Arts is returning to Ark Encounter to share their production of The Horse and His Boy. This powerful story brings the world of Narnia to life and takes viewers on a journey to save the beloved land created by C. S. Lewis.
In November, our Answers Center will once again temporarily turn into the beloved world of Narnia, as Shasta, Bree, Aravis, and Hwin race against an enemy army to save Narnia and the North. Its a wonderful, ...

Creation Basics: Is It Really About the Age of the Earth?

A few months ago, a well-known apologist who believes in an old earth but had visited the Ark Encounter mentioned me and his visit to the Ark on his podcast and said that young earth creationists (like myself) should be willing to discuss the issue of the age of the earth and not refer to old earth creationists as compromisers. So why do I, and the Answers in Genesis ministry as a whole, continue to stand boldly on a young earth and assert that old earth teachings are indeed compromising ...

Rare Evolution in Action Spotted in Island Bats

A recent news article sported the bold claim that evolution in action was recently observed. But we have heard such claims many times before. Dr. Tyrone Lavery, from the University of Melbourne, reported that two groups of leaf-nosed bats [living in the Solomon Islands] with vastly different body sizes that were thought to be separate species are an example of a rare type of parallel evolution.
Stay with me here, parallel evolution is when different populations (usually of the same species...

Pray for This Nation Tomorrow During National Day of Prayer

Tomorrow, May 2, 2024, is National Day of Prayer here in the United States. Thousands of Christians across the nation will be taking time tomorrow, corporately or individually, to specifically pray for this nation, our leaders, and our future. At Answers in Genesis, our staff always takes time during our Thursday morning staff meeting to pray, and I encourage you to pray as well.
Gods Word is powerful, and if we want to see this nation turn back to the Lord, it will take his Word and his Spir...

Quadriplegic Man Dies via Euthanasia after Developing Bed Sores Waiting at Quebec Hospital

As I read this article on LifeSite News, I was greatly saddened to see the lack of compassion and the callous regard for human life in the Canadian health system. On March 29, Normand Meunier, a 66-year-old quadriplegic man, was euthanized at home after developing bed sores and a major pressure ulcer on his backside. The ulcer and bed sores, resulting from a lack of specialized care (and a lack of common decency) at the hospital in Saint-Jrme, Quebec, were so severe that muscle and bone wer...

Queensland Homeschooling Changes Dropped from Education Reform Bill

Good news (to a degree) out of my native country of Australia! Vision.org.au recently reported that the Queensland Education (General Provisions) and Other Legislation Bill 2024 was recently modified after it received a serious backlash in the form of petitions with over 23,000 signatures when the conservative advocacy group CitizenGo presented its petition to the office of the State Education Minister.
At issue were several mandates, the biggest being that homeschools and/or homeschool parents ...

Expanding Truth Traveler Experiences

Early last week, a number of Answers in Genesis leadership members traveled to Pigeon Forge for the groundbreaking ceremony of a new outreacha 5D virtual reality ride and planetarium.

A few years ago, AiG supporter and businessman Wes Bowen, who owns Mindscape Creative in Tennessee, approached us with the vision for a virtual reality experience at the Ark Encounter. As a result, we partnered with Wes to see this become a reality, and its been very popular.
Wes then challenged us to consider...
