Beginning from the Right Foundation

Can you please teach us how to think?
All the challenging questions we have to grapple with today are addressed by remembering where to start: In the beginning, God created. I wanted to share with you some experiences Executive CEO Martyn Iles has had answering such questions from this months letter we mail to our US supporters.
A few years ago, I was helping a group of teenagers with some tutoring sessions. They would ask about everythingfrom English essays to science projects....

Creation Basics: Two Kinds of Science

When many people think about the creation/evolution issue, they think of a battle over evidence. But thats the wrong way to think about it. Really, the battle is over the exact same evidence but two different interpretations because of two different starting points (foundations for ones worldview).
Will we start with Gods Word or human wisdom?
You see, its not science vs. the Bible or science vs. faith. Its mans word (the foundation for evolution and millions of year...

Are Feathers One of Evolutions Cleverest Inventions?

A recent article made the bold claim that feathers are one of evolutions greatest inventions. But what proof did they offer? None, but they did provide a lot of imaginative storytelling and a clear refusal to recognize that objects showing incredible design could not have come about by random chance mutations.
Yet as the title of the article shows, they ascribe intelligence and creativity to evolution, almost like it has a mind and can preplan for any situation. One example of the design they...

Missing Head of Colossal Ramesses II Statue Discovered

I recently read an article from our friends at Patterns of Evidence who reported on the recent finding of much of the upper half of the colossal Rameses statue, (the base was originally found in 1930). The missing head, partial torso, and left arm of the limestone statue of Rameses were found at the archaeological site of El Ashmunein (Khemnu or Khomeno, as the city was called in Rameses time) in middle Egypt.

The Crowds Have Arrived!

I love to see thousands pouring into the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter every day. The local hotels and restaurants love it too. These two leading Christian themed attractions in the world have had a big economic impact on Northern Kentucky and a significant impact on tourism in the state of Kentucky.
But to me, the most important impact is the spiritual impact on the hearts and minds of generations of people who come from across America and around the world to visit the Ark and museum.

Nurse Can Challenge State Law for Abortion Pill Reversal Treatments, Court Rules

Finally, some good pro-life news out of Colorado! Judge Susan Prose issued an order last Monday allowing nurse practitioner Chelsea Mynyk to intervene (enter the existing lawsuit) in the case Bella Health and Wellness v. Weiser. The case concerns Bella Health and Wellness, which sued the state on religious grounds about not being able to offer anti-abortifacient pills.
On October 21, 2023, Bella Health secured a preliminary injunction (temporary suspension), preventing Colorados recent law th...

5 Practical Ways to Care for Creation This Earth Day

April 22 is a day that comes with a lot of confusion for many Christians. This day is celebrated in the US as Earth Day, and social media is filled with reminders that humans are supposedly ruining earth, that we need to reduce our carbon footprint or risk disastrous climate change and that we need to focus on renewable energy for the future. This can be confusing because, as Christians, we want to be good stewards of creation, but we also know that theres a lot of misinformation and even wo...

Creation Museum Conservatory and Zoo Updates

Construction at the Creation Museum is moving along! Despite weather delays (weve had a LOT of rain) and supply chain issues (yes, ever since the COVID shutdowns, we continue to have such problems), the Eden Teaching Center at the Creation Museum is really coming along nicely.
This center will consist of a conservatory, which will be the largest in the state of Kentucky, with four glass greenhouses exhibiting the plants of the Bible, a new zoo with a wallaby walkthrough (the wallaby is a spec...

Creation Basics: Were Dinosaurs on Noahs Ark?

Were dinosaurs on Noahs ark? In Genesis, we read that mans wickedness had become so great that God sent a global flood in judgment, but he saved Noah and his family aboard the ark. Also on that ark were two of every kind of land animal (seven pairs of some)but does that include what we today call dinosaurs?
Dinosaurs are land animals, and all land animals were to go two by two onto Noahs ark (the clean ones in pairs of seven).
Yes, absolutely! You see, dinosaurs are land animals...

Debunking Evolutionary Timelines for Flowering Plants

When did flowering plants arrive on earth?
Well, according to the Bible, God made all the plant kinds on day three of creation, including flowering ones as well as gymnosperms (like evergreen trees). However, the evolutionary model is not nearly so clear. Evolutionists remain unsure when the angiosperms (flowering plants) emerged.
Originally, they did not believe flowering plants and dinosaurs coexisted. However, fossils, particularly fossils of pollen, began pushing flowering plants further and ...
