Dinosaurs for Kids—a Keeper

The new spectacular-looking Dinosaurs For Kids book is getting many rave reviews.

Here is one from a home school resources center:

The illustrations in the book are very eye-catching and they alone will hold your child's attention. Dinosaurs for Kids can be used as a read aloud for one or more children or read independently by upper elementary age and beyond. The information in this book is based on what the Bible says and has many scripture references throughout to back it up and prove that...

Kneehigh Museum Opens First Exhibits

We are thrilled to announce that inside our existing Creation Museum a few of the many exhibits planned for our  "Kneehigh" Museum (specially designed to reach children) have been installed and are now operational at the Creation Museum.  The atheists who have visited the Creation Museum and/or have commented on the Creation Museum sometimes go ballistic over children being influenced by the Creation Museum.  Well—we are thrilled to announce that we have even more exhibits to reach even more ...

Number One Read

We continue to receive tremendous comments about the book Already Gone. We have heard of churches that are changing their entire education program to emphasize more on apologetics and taking a stand on Genesis. It was great to read this comment from a website:

Already Gone by Ken Ham. This was my number one read in 2009. If you want to know why kids leave the church and what you can do to stop it, you better read this book

You can find out more about Already Gone from the AiG website.

Would President Obama Do It?

The International Darwin Day Foundation website is encouraging people to sign an unusual petition—and what is the petition all about?

Here is what they state:

Please sign our petition urging President Obama to recognize Darwin Day. We need our elected leaders to speak out about the importance of scientific knowledge and its contribution to the advancement of humanity, and send a signal that religious infiltration into our science classrooms will not be tolerated. That's why we're asking you...

"Most Important Event"

It was very encouraging to receive this comment from a pastor in southern California:

The AiG conference was the most important event I have been part of. Because of its strong emphasis on the truth and the accuracy of the Word, AiG's books, DVDs, and other helps are now going to be part of our home fellowships, VBS, and Sunday school curriculum. Also, our church is becoming a monthly supporter of AiG.

—Pastor Tom Hughes, Calvary Chapel San Jacinto, CA

Dr. Jason Lisle and I spoke in this church ...

Dinosaurs with Saddles

Whether it is atheist Eugenie Scott (who leads an anti-creation organization called NCSE), PZ Myers (biologist and associate professor at the University of Minnesota–Morris campus), or the author of the book Idiot America, such anti-Christians have mocked the Creation Museum for having a sculpted dinosaur (not an actual exhibit on dinosaurs) with a saddle on it for children to hop on and have their photograph taken. See my previous blog post on this.

Of course, they know that this children's ...

State of the Nation Address—February 16

Following President Obama's annual "State of the Union" January 27, 2010, I will offer AiG's "State of the Nation " speech as a live webcast from the Creation Museum on February 16, highlighting how far the U.S. has wandered from its moral foundations and calling Christians back to their biblical roots. The speech will be given in person at the Creation Museum (for an invitation-only live audience) and online via a live webcast, at 8:00 p.m. Eastern, Tuesday, February 16. Those wishing to...

170,000 Origin Books into Schools

The Lord has raised up many different people in different places across America and worldwide to be involved in the spiritual battle of this age.  Two of our good friends, Ray Comfort (originally from New Zealand) and Kirk Cameron recently were involved in handing out a copy of Darwin's Origin of Species to students across the USA and other parts of the world—of course this edition of the book was rather unique.  Watch this video clip to find out:

We continue to receive feedback concerning the impact of the AiG resources and Creation Museum as God has blessed—such as this one:

We are thrilled to be a part of the giving for the museum.  As charter members...

"What We Are Doing Counts!"

From time to time I like to share testimonies with you that come into our offices—here is one from this week:

For the past three years, I have been going to a men's Bible study . . . . We have a great deal of spiritual harmony in this group. On any given Saturday, we may have 10 different churches represented. We take turns leading and teaching.

On a week, right before Christmas, that I was leading—I chose to play the Already Gone DVD to let the guys in our group understand a bit more about...
