Former Debate Opponent on TV's O'Reilly Factor/ASU Professor Blasphemes Our Lord

" . . . forget Jesus; the stars died so that you can be here, today," is a comment from Lawrence M. Krauss, Foundation Professor in the School of Earth and Space Exploration and Physics Department, and Inaugural Director of the Origins Initiative, at Arizona State University. He spoke about humans supposedly coming from star dust (in an obviously mocking tone). You can watch his short video from YouTube at www.youtube.com/watch?v=VFMmzKDonRY

Dr. Krauss was a very vocal opponent of the...

Rejecting "Free"

Recently, AiG's Chief Communications Officer, Mark Looy, had a letter published in the Cincinnati Enquirer newspaper (and also on its website) dealing with the fact that the Creation Museum was open free to the public on Christmas Eve. Mark stated in his letter: "In the spirit of giving at Christmas, and especially recognizing Christ's free gift of salvation, the museum will be open Thursday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at no charge as our gift to the community. Other special Christmas events...

Anniversary Today

Today (December 27), marks the 16th anniversary of this apologetics ministry of Answers in Genesis. To find out how God has mightily blessed the ministry, including the popular 2 ½ year old Creation Museum, read our ministry history reprinted below in an abridged version (and view some historical photos) or read the full record at: www.answersingenesis.org/about/history

In a future web article, we will give you a glimpse of what is being planned for 2010—including new initiatives to proclaim ...

A "Chance" Encounter

First, I hope you had a Blessed Christmas, remembering why Christ—the "Last Adam" (I Cor. 15:45)—came to earth over 2,000 years ago. This gift from heaven is especially poignant for one family who visited the Creation Museum—but first some background.

Recently my wife and I were at the Dollywood theme park in Tennessee—only a few miles from where we will hold our national apologetics conference "Defending the Faith" in July  (see www.answersingenesis.org/about/events/defending-the-faith-2010span

Christmas Wraptor

Ever since the first time I spoke before a church audience in Australia more than 30 years ago, I have been a strong believer in the need to get resources—books and videos especially—into the hands of those who were introduced to the creation/gospel message at those meetings. People just retain the information better, and in turn share it much more effectively, when they have resources to refer to again and again.

In that regard, the "Dragon Hall" bookstore—that is part of...

Enrichment with Excellence

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting the Frank Lewis family of Pekin, Illinois. This wonderful family publishes Home School Enrichment magazine, one of the very best publications for homeschoolers today.

Frank and Kari—plus their sons Matthew and Jonathan and Matthew's new bride of only two months (Lisa)—drove here last Friday for two reasons:

First, they wanted to tell me personally just how much the creation message has meant to them. Frank and Kari told me that way back in early '80s...

Creation Museum Free on Thursday

As a special gift to the community, Creation Museum admission will be free on Christmas Eve, December 24, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., closing early for the holiday so that staff can be home with their families. We appreciate the continued support we receive from our friends in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky region and want to take this opportunity to say thank you during this special time.

As a reminder that Christ's salvation is a gift to us, our free day is our Christmas gift to the ...

Guess What Was Left Out?

Guess what's missing from Sunday's Cincinnati Enquirer's (our main Cincinnati newspaper) long articles about local Christmas/holiday activities?

This long piece–plus other Christmas-related articles—appeared in the paper yesterday (Sunday). No mention of the Creation Museum and its Bethlehem's Blessings Christmas programs—not even the free day on Thursday (the museum is open to the public for free for Christmas Eve), even though through our publicist, we sent two news releases to the paper...

It Comes Through Clearly

Well over 7000 people (including about 2200 last night on an evening when it snowed—part of the storm system that hit the East) have now visited the Live Nativity program (called Bethlehem's Blessings) during the first four of the nine days the program will be featured. You still have an opportunity to visit the Live Nativity on December 26, 28, 29, January 1 and 2 (see the Creation Museum website for details).

Here are photographs of our snow event yesterday:
