Who Was on the Cover of People Magazine Recently?
You may have seen the People magazine cover as you were standing in line at your grocery store earlier this month—with a photo of the Duggars holding their newborn and 19th child (that's not a typo—they really have 19 children!).
This large family is supportive of our Creation Museum and toured here in 2008—pulling up in a huge bus, with TV cameras capturing the event. It was absolutely amazing to see how well-behaved the children were as they walked through the museum. See my blog post on...

Olympics Report
AiG's Worldwide ministry has finished its outreach in Vancouver, where a team of 110 volunteers witnessed to people from around the world as they visited Canada for the Winter Olympics. It was encouraging to see a report of this Olympics outreach in the Vancouver Sun newspaper. The headline of the article stated: "Christian sisters spread the gospel of creationism."
The article continued:
You'll see all sorts of sports apparel in downtown Vancouver this week. But one of the most unusual...

Deadly Disclosures: Fiction with a Difference
Many people tell us that they sometimes find it hard to read a non-fiction book (e.g., on science topics) and that they prefer novels instead. Some people would rather watch DVDs, listen to our radio program, or take a fantastic "walk through the Bible" inside our Creation Museum. As technology increases, so do our avenues for teaching God's truth to all people young and old. People all around the globe can now receive the culturally relevant messages we at AiG have to give.
Well, now we...

Answers in Genesis . . . "Helping Our Children"
Here is a great testimony from a mom about the influence of Answers in Genesis on her daughter Katie:
This is a report that our 5th grade daughter, Katie Lee wrote . . . can I take a Mommy moment to brag and share it with you? . . . I was so proud of her! She asked if we could send it to Ken Ham, so I told her that I would. What it says is exactly what we have worked so hard to teach and be sure that she knows!
Answers in Genesis has played a large part in helping our children and us form the...

Australian Christian Media Site Reports on "State of the Nation"
The Christian Today Australia website recently carried an article reporting on the "State of the Nation" (USA) address I gave recently. The report (with a nice photograph of the set AiG's AV team built) begins:
Atheism, naturalism replacing Christianity, apologist says

Answers in Genesis Opinion Piece on Popular OneNewsNow Website
I wanted to bring to your attention an opinion piece on the theme of last week's webcast on the "State of the Nation," something that I wrote for the OneNewsNow.com website. Here is an excerpt:
One of President Barack Obama's mantras—one that he has stated many times publicly as well as in his book The Audacity of Hope—is: "Whatever we once were, we are no longer just a Christian nation; we are also a Jewish nation, a Muslim nation, a Buddhist nation, a Hindu nation, and a nation of...

Homeschoolers Coming by the Thousands
Attention homeschoolers in the Midwest! Don't miss the Midwest Homeschool Convention in our Cincinnati region on April 8–10, 2010, at the Duke Energy Convention Center in downtown Cincinnati—just 25 minutes away from the Creation Museum. The event will attract thousands of homeschoolers, has 200 workshops/seminars, and will feature a large exhibit hall.
As you go to the conference website, see the section on getting Creation Museum tickets.

Vanity Fair Writer Snubs Nose at Cincinnati—Again
Recently A.A. Gill, a British writer/commentator who seems to pride himself in his mocking tone when he writes articles/reviews etc., wrote a mocking article on the Creation Museum. We mentioned this in a recent article on the AiG website where we state, "Gill, an atheist, is the author of a not-very-flattering article about the Creation Museum that is found in February's issue of Vanity Fair magazine. Movie star Bettany came to the museum with Gill and toted an expensive camera, and...

Anti-Creation Museum, Even in an Obituary
Whenever we hear of the death of a human being, it is of course a very sad occasion—and a reminder that we live in a sin-cursed world. Thus all of us need salvation in Christ—the One who paid the penalty for our sin in Adam, so that if a person receives the free gift of salvation, he/she can spend eternity with the Lord. When a Christian dies, and although it's very sad and we grieve, nonetheless it can be a time of rejoicing, knowing we will see this person again, for they are in the arms o...
