What Does Evolution Contribute?

With all the talk in the secular and Christian media recently about the resignation of Reformed Theological Seminary professor Dr. Bruce Waltke because he declared that evolution was compatible with the Bible,  a reporter asked me about the controversy (see yesterday's blog and yesterday's lead article).  In discussions with the reporter, I explained that evolution (in the molecules to man sense) does nothing for observational science except waste money and time, and it becomes a stumbling...

The Waltke Controversy

In February, during my State of the Nation 2 live webcast presentation, I quoted from Old Testament scholar Bruce Waltke, as one of those theological leaders who is undermining the authority of Scripture. He had been asked by the BioLogos Foundation founder, Francis Collins, to prepare a white paper. Waltke stated:

Francis S. Collins, noted for his leadership of the Human Genome Project, for his recent appointment by President Barack Obama to head up the National Institutes of Health, and...

21st Century Persecution

Dr. Dave Crandall, AiG's Worldwide director, sent me this very emotional report after returning from a ministry tour of Asia, including Communist China (this blog item has been edited for security reasons).

Today brings to an end one of the most spiritually and emotionally draining ministries of my entire life and ministry. I traveled to five countries, crossed 32 time zones, crossed the international dateline twice, preached 16 times, and had multiple meetings in the various countries—all of...

Banner Up!

Our Creation Museum is well-known throughout our Tri-state area (Kentucky, India, and Ohio). On Saturday, Mark Looy, our CCO, sent me a photo of the baseball field at Calvary Christian School in northern Kentucky, which is several miles down I-275 from our museum. A Creation Museum banner has been placed under the field's scoreboard, which offers some high visibility, especially as people often look at the scoreboard during a game.

On Saturday, Calvary won its game 11-1, by the way; Mark's...

Overflow Crowd in Michigan

Yesterday morning, both church services filled the auditorium at Richland Bible Church, and then Saturday evening, 2000 people—from all over the area—really overflowed the church for the beginning of the AiG conference with Dr. Lisle and me as we each spoke to a very enthusiastic crowd.  People sat on the stage, in the orchestra pit, in the choir seats, and on the floor!  People are so hungry for the truth.  Many visitors told me they go to a church where the leadership accepts billions of...

Love Reading Answers

Answers magazine is the world's leading creation/apologetics/Christian worldview magazine—and it is more popular than ever. With over 70,000 subscribers and both a printed version and a special digital edition, as a number of other Christian magazines have been discontinued, or others struggling, Answers is one of today's Christian publications that continues to grow and have a phenomenal impact.

Kudos to Chief Editor Dale Mason and his team for this excellent production. In this blog, I...

Evangelical Scholar Leaves Seminary over Evolution

A number of news sources have reported that theologian and evolutionist Bruce K. Waltke has left his position at the Reformed Theological Seminary (Orlando) because of his stand on evolution. This is interesting, considering that I quoted from Dr. Waltke in my recent "State of the Nation 2" web address. I warned people in that presentation that such compromising evolution with the Bible's clear account of Creation in Genesis has contributed to the undermining of biblical authority in the...

Former Evolutionist Now Defies Evolution

Many of you have seen the DVD series Incredible Creatures That Defy Evolution by Dr. Jobe Martin. Jobe spoke in our Creation Museum Wednesday—he's in the area to speak at a homeschool convention in downtown Cincinnati, and then he travels to Pittsburgh this weekend to speak in a church. Go to http://www.evolutionofacreationist.com/ for info on his ministry, including his fascinating testimony.

Here is a photo of Jobe speaking to an almost full house in our museum's theater on Wednesday:

Ministering to Traumatized Children

From time to time I like to highlight the speaking ministry of one of our excellent speakers.  This time it's to mention the outreach that Buddy Davis has for young people. Here is some recent feedback on one of his meetings, where Buddy's wife Kay helped out and their ministry had a phenomenal impact on some very special children:

We recently booked Buddy and Kay Davis for a series of events at our local church. There were six events, with two directed at children. We believe about 550...

"I Am Not Ashamed" Billboard in Atlanta

Ever since Answers in Genesis launched the www.iamnotashamed.org campaign, which included a TV spot last Sunday on 60 Minutes nationwide, we have received numerous enquiries across the country from people wanting to sponsor one or more of the "I am not ashamed"  billboards in their area.  It takes time to line up the billboard, produce and wrap the board, and get it up.  But gradually we will be seeing this happen more and more across the country.

We are thrilled to show you a photograph of...
