Cul es tu Identidad? Giving Answers About Identity at Da Latino

What is a man? What is a woman? And why does it matter?
Many people todayespecially young peopleare very confused about their identity. The world tells them they are what they feel, but feelings are confusing and ever-changing and certainly dont provide ultimate purpose or meaning. And because we are sinners, we cant trust our feelings. But Gods Word provides the ultimate purpose, meaning, and answers we need.
And were giving those answers to adults, teens, and families at our u...

Old or New Testament? 11% of Protestants Dont Know

Is the exodus from Egypt a New Testament or Old Testament event? What about the crossing of the Jordan, the healing of a man born blind, a miraculous escape from prison, or the healing of Naamans leprosy? Its hard to believe, but according to a new study, 1 in 10 American Protestant Churchgoers (11%) cant answer those sorts of questions.
The survey asked this question, Of all the stories found in the Old Testament of the Bible, which one is your favorite? (As a side note, I ...

What Christians Must Know About Kamala Harris

How will you vote this November? The election is coming up, and its already been an interesting election year to say the least. Everyone has opinions about who to vote for, but how should a Christian vote?
I recently briefly spoke during one of my talks at the Ark Encounter about some of the policies and positions that Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic candidate, holds to and then shared how I believe Christians in this nation should vote. I encourage you to share this clip with ot...

Zoo Update: Baby Armadillo Born at the Ark

Its time for a baby announcement from our Ararat Ridge Zoo at the Ark Encounter. Our zookeepers are excited because one of our animalsa member of a near-threatened speciesrecently gave birth at the Ark. A southern three-banded armadillo pup named Gravel was born to mother Pebbles who lives at the Arks zoo (the father, Boulder, is usually at the Creation Museum zoo but has been down at the Ark while our museum zoo is under construction). I thought youd enjoy the cute picture...

Its Back to School at Answers Academy

Remembering Buddy Davis at His Memorial Service

As we announced recently, my dear friend and ministry partner Buddy Davis went home to be with the Lord on August 7, 2024. Last week, his memorial service was held at his home church in rural Ohio, near the log cabin he and Kay lived in for so many decades. The service was videoed, and I thought that many of you who have loved and prayed for Buddy and his wife, Kay, would be touched by it.
This service features some of Buddys music; his favorite hymns and songs; tributes, including one from m...

Ministry Update: AiG Librarian I Met in 1984 Retires

Well, it happens. We all get older, and there comes that time when we have to make changes in our lives. Last week our Answers in Genesis staff gathered at staff meeting where we announced the retirement of our librarian, Walt Stumper (although no one truly retires from Answers in Genesis!). Walt served at AiG for 24 years and will still come into the office on certain days to use his talents for the ministry.
Walt and his wife, Janice, met a long line of staff who came to congratulate him on hi...

AmericansKilling Their Own Children and Supporting the Death of the Elderly

As someone who knows what Gods Word teaches about the unborn and the value of every person made in Gods image (right from fertilization), its hard to stomach many news headlines these days. Whether its reports of atrocities committed in wars far away or yet another report about the killing of unborn babies in America, the news often has Christians crying out to God, wondering why he doesnt immediately stop this evil. And we find that same struggle throughout the Bible.
Take, for e...

Will You Fight Like a Man?

Ive heard it said that the average age a boy is first exposed to internet pornography is now around 8 years old. Eight years old. That alarming statistic is why certain states are requiring major pornography websites, like PornHub, to practice age verification on their sitesresulting in PornHub shutting down in those states, including in Kentucky and 11 others. Now thats a good thingmaking the evil of pornography harder to access protects children from exposure. But more is needed.

Ministry Update: Equipping Local Pastors

We are passionate about equipping the churchand that means reaching pastors. So we at Answers in Genesis invited pastors from our local area to a special breakfast earlier this week in Legacy Hall at the Creation Museum. We had so many who wanted to attend, we also added a brunch! What a good problem to have!
Between the breakfast and brunch, over 450 pastors and their wives, representing 300 churches in our area, attended. We gave each pastor a special gift bag and showed them all that we of...
