Cowardly Republican Senate Aides Begin Attacking Jim DeMint

It has begun. Republican Senate aides who desperately want the majority back so they can add an extra zero to their eventual K-Street salary package once they stop prostituting themselves to lobbyists and instead become lobbyists prostituting themselves to squishy Republicans are attacking Jim DeMint.

In addition to their own self-interest, you can be sure they are expressing their bosses' frustrations.

Now, you and I both know that Jim DeMint swooping in at the last minute to endorse...

'It's Of No Interest to Me'

Ken Buck and Michael Bennet had a debate the other day. Ken Buck posed a simple question to Bennet: Did you vote for $1.5 million for an airport named after Jack Murtha that serves no more than 20 passengers a day?

Bennet's answer? Yes, "but it certainly was not of interest to me."

Buck replies, "I think $1.5 million is certainly of interest to all of us."

You know you want to give Ken some money.

Non-Voting Delegate To Congress Demands Lobbyists Pony Up

If there is one sure thing next year it is that Delegate Eleanor Norton Holmes, the Delegate to the U.S. House of Representatives from the District of Columbia, will get re-elected.

Ms. Holmes, who calls herself a Congresswoman despite not being elected to Congress to vote on anything, gets to sit on committees in the House of Representatives along with delegates from other territories of the United States. She does not, however, get an actual vote on the floor of the House of...

Didier Behaves Like Those He Campaigned Against

In Delaware, Mike Castle is refusing to endorse Christine O'Donnell.

In Florida, Bill McCollum is flirting with the Democrats.

In Alaska, Lisa Murkowski is considering going write-in to cling to power.

These are the faces of the establishment. They have been beaten and then took their footballs off the field.

Clint Didier ran against the establishment. He ran against people like that. But it wasn't enough. Many conservatives, myself and Jim DeMint included, rallied to Dino Rossi.

Rossi won....

A Note on Delaware

It took Sharron Angle 3 days to get to $500,000.00 after getting the GOP nomination in Nevada. Since then, her fundraising flow has not stopped.

In Delaware, Christine O'Donnell has reached $500,000.00 in less than 24 hours from her win.

Nice.

GOP, Inc. As Darth Vader Starring Rob Jesmer As the Guy in the Suit

It is a delightful morning. The National Republican Senatorial Committee and the GOP Establishment, including Karl Rove in full on meltdown last night on Fox News, has been beaten yet again in Delaware by the supposedly crazy girl from the fringe who could not possibly take out the 12 time elected Republican Mike Castle.

Christine O'Donnell was crazy . . . crazy like a fox.

The reputation of the NRSC, led by Rob Jesmer as its Executive Director, is one of competence and, to those opposed...

Congratulations Christine O'Donnell

The same people who told us we had to go with Charlie Crist also told us we had to go with Mike Castle.

The Republican voters of Delaware said, "no thanks," just like the voters in Florida.

Tonight Christine O'Donnell is the Republican nominee in Delaware and Mike Castle is defeated.

A pretty good night so far.

Jack Conway Using His Position in Kentucky to Kill Small Businesses

Jack Conway is the Democrats' Senate nominee in Kentucky. He is also Kentucky's Attorney General. And Conway is on a one man mission to kill a large number of small businesses in Kentucky.

He's also abusing his position to help a major Kentucky business in the process.

Here's the deal. When you pass a FedEx truck on the road, you are passing a small businessman. That driver is an independent contractor to FedEx. FedEx pays the driver a very large sum of money to drive the trucks, but...
