"Sins of the Night (Dark-Hunter, #8)" by Sherrilyn Kenyon

Sins of the Night (Dark-Hunter, #8)Sins of the Night by Sherrilyn Kenyon

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

My opinion is a double one on this book.

I liked a lot all the new information about the "general plot" on the series, mainly those informations related with Acheron that is my favorite character in all series.

But I must confess that I was truly disappointed with the love story.

When Alexion goes to earth and he starts to feel attracted to Danger, there's nothing "special" about her that support the change in him, or point out...

"Dance With The Devil (Dark-Hunter, #4)" by Sherrilyn Kenyon

Dance With The Devil (Dark-Hunter, #4)Dance With The Devil by Sherrilyn Kenyon

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

In my last review of a Sherrilyn Kenyon book, I wrote "I must confess that I'm starting to addict my self to this series.",and today, after reading "Dance With the Devil", I can say that I'm definitely addicted!

The love story between Zarek and Astrid was one of the most beautiful that I read so far in this series.

Although in this book the "general plot", common true all the series, doesn't have great development, I really...

"Goddess of Light (Goddess Summoning, #3)" by P. C. Cast

Goddess of Light (Goddess Summoning, #3)Goddess of Light by P.C. Cast
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This was the second book I read in the Goddess Summoning Series and though I didn't like it as much as the previous "Goddess of Spring", it was really enjoying to read.

For me the main difference is because this story happens in Las Vegas and not in a different universe as the Underworld in "Goddess of Spring" and maybe because of that I missed a little of the magic that catch my eye on this kind of books.

Never the less, I like it and had...

"Dream Chaser (Dark-Hunter, #15 / Dream-Hunters #3)"

Dream Chaser (Dark-Hunter, #15 and/or Dream-Hunters #3)Dream Chaser by Sherrilyn Kenyon
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is my... forth or fifth book by Sherrilyn Kenyon, and I must confess that I'm starting to addict my self to this series.

The books are great because we can read them individually without the obligation of read the previous numbers first to be able to understand the story, but as we read one book after the other we really enjoy more of the intrigues and many details of Greek mythology.

The "Dream Chaser" was one more book with a...

Onde anda o poder?

"Devil May Cry (Dark-Hunter, #13)" by Sherrilyn Kenyon

Devil May Cry (Dark-Hunter, #13)Devil May Cry by Sherrilyn Kenyon
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I really enjoyed reading this book.

"Devil May Cry" was the 3rd book I read by Sherrilyn Kenyon, and at this moment, my favourite!

The characters were great, with funny dialogues and the plot really catch my attention :)

If you're looking for a book to spend some hours in the pool this summer, this one is a good choice!

I'm look forward to get my hands in another S.K. book... lucky me that I have "Acheron" waiting in my desk  ;)

"Lover Avenged (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #7)" by J. R. Ward

Lover Avenged (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #7) Lover Avenged by J.R. Ward

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

It was good to read J. R. Ward again!

After spend one week in April reading the series box with the first six books of the "Black Dagger Brotherhood", it was great to get back to this series and continuing to read about the brothers.

The main reason that keeps my eyes on this series, is the amazing talent that J. R. Ward have by creating characters that caught my attention and make want to know what will happen next.

I can't resist them...

"The Monsters of Templeton" by Lauren Groff

The Monsters of Templeton The Monsters of Templeton by Lauren Groff

I'm so dam mad about this book!

I bought it in my trip to Budapest last month and, as I love so much the city, I really wanted to love this book as much and make it a perfect pair... but of course, with one star, that's not what happened!

I had good expectations about this book.

The story seemed nice, a mixed of classic with a fine line of fantastic.

So, I start reading it, ignored the the narration on the 1st person (something I don't appreciate in...

"Fever" (Leopard People, #1, #2) by Christine Feehan

Fever (Leopard People, #1 and #2 ) Fever by Christine Feehan

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I'm a little confuse about my opinion on this book... actually it's two books, the #1 and #2 on the "Leopard People" series.

I guess I may start with something they both share, a wonderful scenario!

That's what I loved the most in this new series, the joy of, at least in this two books, it all happened in the beautiful scenario of the rain forest.

Another common thing in both, is the erotic language, and enormous number of sexual moments.

I...
