Yay it's here!
Halloween has arrived and my whole family is psyched. Hubby was out decorating yesterday with the kids. My favorite new thing of the seasoon is the dripping blood in the front window. So cool! Today is pumpkin carving time. The whole family went out last weekend and came back with 4 pumpkins, but since then the kids have come home with 2 more from school. It's going to take a while to get them all done up, but it's going to be awesome. I'm about to get ready to start baking the seeds (hubby loves them in his lunch) and prepping pie shells because I am going on a pumpkin pie making mania. Love the stuff
Now as for costumes, I am ashamed to say I don't dress up. I get easily shy and embarrassed so dressing up makes me feel too self conscious. But my kids will look awesome. My son is going to be the Joker from Batman, the one with the purple coat. I'm going to paint his face since I don't think the plastic mask will last long. My youngest is going as TinkerBell and we have the glitter to make her sparkle. My oldest wants to be a dead cheerleader. LOL I love it. I gave her a wig of mine (a leftover from before we became parents ) and she's going to put it in ponytails. Her face will be heavily done up with icky wounds. Her outfit is black and white with a large skull on the chest. They are going to look to good and totally rake in the candy. Hubby loves Halloween and when it comes to trick or treating, he's a man on a mission.
So what are you or your kids dressing up as this year? Have you decorated? Share the details. And is anyone else psyched that as of tomorrow, the countdown to Christmas starts? I'm starting to get the itch to pull down my Xmas bins already.
LOL Happy Halloween

The Hunter is up for book of the week
And I'd really love your vote. The Hunter is my first ever published story and fabulous. But don't just take my word for it, check out the awesome review it got from Black Raven's Reviews and see for yourself.
The review can be read and a vote given (hint! hint!) @ BlackRavensReviews.com
On a lighter note, I went for dinner with hubby last night. We had some unused gift cards for The Keg. Thank goodness for stretchy pants. It was delicious- caesar salad, steak, fried mushrooms and rice. Mmm. And when we told the waitress we'd come to celebrate our two birthdays (hubby and I are only a day apart), she sent us home with 2 free pieces of cheesecake. Heavenly. We ended up skipping bowling (we were just too full) and did something we hadn't done for a while because of the kids. We took a drive and went dream house shopping. What the heck am I talking about you ask? It's when you go to the fanciest neighborhood around and look at all the big wonderful houses. Then you point out what you like about them and which parts your dream house is going to have.
Outside my dream house is at least two stories, and either colonial or Tudor style. It has a turret (for my library), a huge kitchen with a massive island, granite of course, vaulted ceilings in the family room, an inground pool and hot tub, a huge master bedroom with an ensuite made of those pretty glass tiles. Outside, I want a disgusting amount of windows for natural light and the yard will be landscaped with flowering bushes and rocks, with a slate walkway and to top it off a three car garage with a circular drive. As you can see, I've got my wishlist ready, now I just need to win the lottery.
What about you? What does your dream house look like? Please tell me, right after you vote for The Hunter of course lol

I hear evil cackling!
Oh my, Wickedest Witch is sweeping in on a broom powered with attitude October 25th.
But that's just one of my naughty new paranormals releasing just in time for Halloween.
There's also Broomstick Breakdown and A Ghostly Ménage. These stories are majorly different, but, the one thing they have in common is each romance evolves from a fated mate concept. Of course, while the shifter males have no problem with an otherwordly force choosing their woman for them, the ladies on the other hand don't quite have the same reaction.
Kind of like an arranged marriage, fated mates don't seem to have a choice, and yet, the more they fight it, the harder they fall–into bed naked. I guess the message in my stories is don't mess with fate 'cause she can be a bitch. LOL
Jokes aside, I am a huge believer of love at first sight. My husband and I met almost 13 years ago and right from the start, I was in love–well lust at first, but I quickly realized he was more than a stud, he was my other half. Do you believe in love at first sight? Or are you of the camp that thinks true love only comes after time and understanding?
I'll read your answers later because I need to go shave. I hear there's going to be some naked dancing around a bonfire this Halloween so screw watching, this year I want to be a witch and join in.

Rhonda's Here!
Welcome Rhonda, are you ready for your interrogation? Tell us three things about you that would surprise even the people who know you. (Me, I hate socializing lol)
I'm a pretty open book to my friends but others may not know that while I write some pretty graphic horror scenes, I don't like gory movies. Writing it and reading it is completely different from seeing it!
LOL I love to watch horror movies but never alone.
Congrats on your debut novel, Nightwalker. Tell us about this paranormal tale.
Leah Wolfe has retired from serious police work in favor of seeking a normal life. Her unique, yet not fully
discovered supernatural abilities allow her to speak to the souls of the dead, providing vital information in the search for their killers. Her abilities have also cost her almost everyone she has ever loved including her mother, who abandoned her to fend for herself on the streets, and, most recently, her ex-fiancé Joaquín Wildhorse, Chief Detective of the Native American Reservation Police Department. But when Joaquín's new lover is found brutally murdered on the reservation, he turns to Leah for help. The hunt for a vicious killer leads Leah to sexy Ian Nightwalker and Leah is unable to walk away from the case that may cost her her most guarded possession of all.
Her Heart.
Mmm, sounds like an intriguing read. Your site mentions you're working on a sequel. Can you reveal any details yet?
All I can say is that Leah will still have to figure out what her abilities are and who her heart truly desires.
Are you ready for the question I love most? I want to know about the scene is this story that made blush and squirm as you wrote it, but that just had to be included.
It would definitely be any of the scenes that are gruesome. Sometimes I have to write those during the day or risk nightmares. LOL
Too funny Now for the dream part of the interview. You're rich and famous. How many bedrooms and bathrooms does your mansion have?
It would be the same house, (though not nearly a mansion) that I live in now. The master bath however would receive a full spa make-over and there might be a vacation house or two scattered about the globe.
I just wish I had a bathroom of my own:(
Everyone has a food fetish, for me it's chips. What treat makes you drool and slap the hands that would touch it?
Chocolate!
I ask everyone this, because I like to know. What turns you on?
A)Husband taking off his shirt
B)Husband doing the housework.
C)Husband taking off with the kids for the day
D) Curling up with a hot book ;P
All of the above! Of course, if my husband took his shirt off while doing housework and just before taking the kids off for the day so I could curl up with a hot book, well, that would be sexy too!
And finally, if you had a super fan standing in front of your right now, clutching their e-reader loaded with your book, eyes shining bright, what would you say to them?
Thank you for spending time in the world I loved creating!

Evie Balos is here to talk about her new release!
Welcome Evie, and thanks for letting us torture—um make that question you. Why don't you tell us three things you absolutely hate.
A: Hi Eve, and thanks for this fun interview! Okay, I'd say rude people, spending way too much time looking for a parking spot in the city, and the fact that they don't make waist high jeans anymore.
LOL high waist jeans. I miss those too! I love your sensual cover for The Unnecessary Bodyguard. Tell us about this paranormal tale.
