It's almost done…
The sequel to Defying Pack Law is almost here, and boy is it a doozy. Following our human heroine Bailey it starts with a sadistic kidnapping and then just doesn't stop. It's already at 50 thousands words, and I figure it still has at least another 10 to go, so it's a nice meaty piece for you menage lovers And it will have guest appearances by Dana and some of her boys.
Now, I'm not ready to reveal the title yet(my little secret) but here's a rough blurb.
Pack law states she can have up to four mates, if she can find the courage to choose them.
Escaping a kidnapping duo, Bailey runs into a naked man in the middle of the woods. And he's not alone.
Rescued by a quad of hunks, then kept against her will, she doesn't know what to think or do—other than scream that is—when she discovers they are in fact werewolves. Even more frightening, they want her as their mate despite her human status. But there's more to Bailey than meets the eye, and the evil force guiding the rogues that attacked her wants her back. Can Bailey keep herself from his clutches?
And just how does a girl raised with human morals come around to accepting pack law which states females can choose up to four mates? Or even more shocking, take them to her bed all at once.
Warning: Not all gorgeous blond cowboys with dark haired sidekicks that you meet in a bar will be werewolves, but if they are, prepare to howl, because when it comes to loving their mate, nothing beats their tag team, hands on approach.
Hehehehe. Got you drooling yet? I'll be submitting this to my publisher Amira Press in the next week or two, so fingers crossed they love it. I'll keep you posted

Please welcome my guest, Gabriella Hewitt
I have become obsessed with the show 48 hours on A&E. The show is a docudrama about real life detectives trying to solve a murder in the first 48 hours. It is crucial to find witnesses and evidence and track down the murderer in the first 48 hours, otherwise it gets tougher to solve the crime.
I watch the marathons and admire these men and women as they brave the mean streets, forgo sleep and put their family lives on hold to help other families find solace and justice.
Although, I have never been a cop or detective, I have been fortunate to have them in my life. Friends, neighbors, and family members who have helped guide me to write realistic scenarios and check my facts. And for this, I am very blessed.
I guess in a way that is why I write romantic suspense. There is something about the injustice and the suspense of tracking down the killer who tries to elude you at every turn.
Better yet throw in the emotional stress of dealing with a partner who ties you up in knots and has your libido going out of control. Yes, I like to torture my hero.
I have no idea what makes law enforcement personnel sexy, maybe it's the fact they run into danger when everyone else is running away, or their big hearts that allow them to care about others before themselves, either way they are the ultimate good guys.
When I wrote the ICE Files, I thought of a very sexy character, one who wasn't 100% clear to me or the heroine if he was good guy or a bad guy but Rico turned out to be more than I could have imagined. He wasn't your straight forward hero, he didn't have the badge, he didn't play the cop, but he did still feel the need to protect and defend.
Dark Waters is my first novel in the ICE FILE Series set against the beautiful back drop of Puerto Rico, filled with stories of witchcraft, el chupacabre and missing girls. There are still more tales to be told and so off I go to set sail and head back to the land of enchantment to chase down another bad guy and more legendary tales from the mystical island.

What's happening…
I thought I'd give an update on what's currently going on because I've had some queries on upcoming stories
~I am currently working on a sequel to Defying Pack Law with a new heroine and a set of wolves that will make you drool. I am hoping to have that finished by the first week of August and sent off to my publisher for a query.
~Next on the agenda, Intentional Abduction because my alien loving fans need a new fix of purple fun ;p
~This week and the next, keep an eye on the blog-o-sphere because there are quite a few contests coming up to win a copy of Delicate Freakn' Flower
~ Clint made it to round 3 in the AllRomance hunk contest. How awesome is that? If you want to vote and keep him in for round 4 then goto http://www.allromanceebooks.com/conte...
~Bunny And The Bear should be releasing sometime in August. Edits are done, the editor loved it and I am just waiting on cover art for some finalized dates.
~Hell's Revenge, my last book in the Princess of Hell series, is entering edits so I'm figuring it will release sometime early fall. And boy is it a page turner.
~Once the munchkins go back to school, I've got a new menage story I'm planning to write along with a more serious shapeshifter one and a new urban fantasy series. Oh and a dirty Santa one for the holidays if I have time lol.
My husband and I are also still in the DIY phase. The kitchen is mostly done now with the plumbing going in today, and the trim hopefully next week along with some new paint. I love that we on our own (except for hte countertop) managed to bring our kitchen out of the 70′s into the present day. Thank you Home Depot for having in stock cabinets! lol Next, we need to finally tackle the icky upstairs bathroom. I am hoping the chaos in the house will end soon. Like with all renovations, it seemed like a good idea at the time lol.
So what's on your agenda?

Anyone Remember Clint from Scared Of Spiders?
You know, the hunky alpha werewolf who along with his beta Brandon fell in love with timid Josie. The ultra sexy Clint has been nominated as one of AllRomance's Hottest Heroes Of Summer. Might I say that is totally cool!
If you're an AllRomance subscriber, I do hope you'll take a wee moment of your time to go over and give him a vote. I'd love to see him make it a few rounds in the contest. Would it help if I said each round, AllRomance is giving some lucky voters some e-buck prizes?
Thank you in advance, and might I say if you liked, enjoyed or loved Scared of Spiders, then you are going to just adore reading Delicate Freakn' Flower coming in the next week (hint hint lol)

I love/hate home renovation
Who hasn't walked into Home Depot, Lowe's or Rona and thought, wow it looks so easy to do…[fill in the blank]?
How many of you have have bought the stuff, then let it sit in the garage for years, collecting dust? [raises her hand]
Ever start a project and motor through it like a fiend only to stop at 90% completion and never quite finish it off? [again, raising hand guiltily]
And finally, ever notice how when you start one project it causes a snowball effect where what seemed like a simple upgrade actually requires a heck of alot more work than initially thought? [every single time]
But, despite all these things, I have a love/hate relationship with home renovation. The newest DIY project about to begin is our upstairs bathroom. When we bought this house almost 6 years ago, the bathroom needed help–brown toilet, brown/worn tub, chipped vanity, broken mirror pane, ugly paint, noisy fan and god-awful linoleum floor. Six months after we moved in, the cabinet over the toilet ended up with no doors (they went flying after I stood up and whacked my head on them because someone left them open).
Currently, only the toilet and fan have been swapped because they broke. We've been meaning to get around to fixing this ugly mess since we moved in [whistles while looking around sheepishly]. I admit I've dreaded it. But, I've reached the point, I truly hate that bathroom.
It's time to get off our asses and fix it. We've got a list of things to do for prepping–plaster (we won't talk about the hole in the ceiling from when we changed the fan), scraping off the old caulking, strippring the floor, pulling out everything but the toilet and tub. Then, once that's all done, we need to paint, install floor tile, put in a new vanity/mirror/light/cabinet and reframe the window in the shower (they used wood and none moisture paint, guess what happened?). I figure it will take the rest of summer to do lol.
Seriously, though, the tearing out part, probably one day–we love demolition. The prepping will be done here and there over the course of a week or two. Then, we'll have the big reno weekend where we paint tile and install. The tub however we're getting repainted by a pro. It's only $300 bucks to resurface it. I can't wait because the brown enamel has reached the point where you just can't keep it clean.
Once we're done, it's going to look great, but I am not looking forward to doing it. I'd rather install laminate flooring anyday. Seriously, I want to do the whole house in it, but hubby wants to save up for hardwood. Doesn't he understand the kids will dent it? lol.
As for supplies, so far I have a cabinet. And maybe floor tile. We bought some about four years ago (great sale!) for the front hall. It's languished in the garage waiting for installation. We're thinking it will look good upstairs, I hope. Else we'll need to buy tile too. Apparently, vinyl squares are too cheap (my hubby doesn't seem to grasp they're so much easier to install though! lol).
Thank goodness hubby is handy. I'm more of a planner, although I do dive in to help with the dirty work. I'm just not as good at it as he is. Although, I am a wicked trimmer when it comes to painting.
Today, since it's a rain day, we're on the hunt for a vanity (a cheap one!). I want the one with the marble top that flows into a sink with no seams which means when hubby shaves his head it will be an easy cleanup. I hate it right now that all the little hairs get caught in that rubber ring around our current sink. Eew!
So what are you planning to reno? And how long has it been waiting? lol.
Next on the agenda is the dreaded kitchen with it's 3 layers of flooring and plywood cupboards. [shudder]

You put the lime in the coconut and drink it all up
Anyone remember that darned song? It's been buzzing around my head for a week since we bought a coconut at the grocery store. And silly me, I sang that refrain to the kids, who then demanded to hear the song. Sooo, I went onto Youtube and found the original version by some guy in a gorilal suit but it didn't sound quite right. Then I happened onto the Muppet rendition, and guess where I learned that song as a child lol? My husband now thinks we're all nuts 'cause we can't stop singing the coconut song–my kids especially like to belt the 'Doctor' part hehehehe.
I included the video so you can all have a flashback to the best show ever–and that adorable Kermit.

Space the final frontier…
…and the repository of super sexy, purple aliens ;p
I'll admit, there's something intriguing about E.T's. Do they look like us, with or more less body parts? Are they more advanced, technologically and physically? How do they procreate–via test tube or old fashioned smooshing? And can they fall in love?
When writing science fiction, I like to explore some of these questions. Fantasize about the aliens I'd like to think exist, just waiting for their moment to abduct a female earthling and subject them to titillating probing. I love to imagine two races of beings separated not only by species and color, but by galaxies, who still manage to find each other and fall in lust–um, I mean love .
My readers know by now my penchant for strong males. If you've read my Alien Mate series, then you've discovered first hand how my aliens are all definitely larger than life hunks. And I mean large ;p In my newest series, I introduce a new race of extra terrestrials–purple skinned warriors. Big, muscled and I quote, "Good grief," she whispered. "Even your abs have abs.", my newest galactic creations have a mouthful of pointy teeth, and bold attitudes. They also have a few other characteristics, but I'll leave that for you to discover.
Accidental Adbuction is the first in what I plan to be a series about my new purple warriors. It is sarcastic, humorous and definitely erotic. Oh and fun, lots and lots of fun.
To kick off it's release, I'm having a giveaway. Starting today until noon May 28th, just leave a comment with your email address and you'll be entered to a win an ebook copy of it. Easy? Then what are you waiting for? lol
Thanks for partipating and taking the time to read.

Abducted by a space pirate, she fights the temptation to let him plunder her goods.
A boyfriend's attempted murder leaves Megan floundering in the ocean. Sinking without hope, the bright light she sees in the night sky isn't her doorway to heaven, but rather the beginning of her accidental abduction by a space pirate. While thankful of his rescue, Megan stays true to form and just can't keep her mouth shut, even when he keeps threatening to kill her–or auction her off to the highest bidder. Even odder, despite her decision to not get involved with her wickedly hot captor, she can't help craving his touch.
Tren retired from his job as a mercenary so he could enjoy life, but he never counted on the boredom of normalcy. The acquisition of rare items has somewhat filled the void, but his accidental abduction of an outspoken earthling, who doesn't know when to shut up, turns his life upside. Her fiery spirit draws him while at the same time drives him insane. Struggling with his urges, he must decide– throttle her barbarian neck or ravish her delectably lush body?
Despite what his heart tries to tell him, he's determined to sell her to the highest bidder even as he seduces her body. However, despite his best intentions, he discovers he can't let her go. And when a foe from his past thinks to steal her, he'll do anything to get her back.

Let's see who's paying attention…
LOL, I know I don't write often. I am quite horrible when it comes to blogging, but, in my defense, I've been quite busy writing, editing and taking care of a host of other things that need my attention–like my family lol. And things are going to get busier this May.
As most of you probably know, Defying Pack Law, a major werewolf menage story, is coming out this Friday at Amira Press (available at Amazon, AllRomance and other distros by the 13th or so). Not only is that action packed, sure to make you squirm story coming, but about mid May, a mini anthology, Once Bitten, Forever Burned is releasing featuring fabulous romance author Stacey Kennedy with a hot little vampire/werewolf story and a second vampire tale from yours truly. As if that weren't bad enough, or good depending on your view lol, it looks like Hybrid Misfit should make an appearance sometime in May, early June at the latest. Wait, I'm not done lol. Did I mention this was a busy month? Late May or early June, Accidental Abduction, a brand new science fiction piece is coming to blow all you alien lovers away. I'll admit, I had tons of fun writing this one, and my beta readers were in stitches in between squirming.
Wow, looking at what's coming in May, I think I can safely say, hot damn I'm going to be busy. And, in turn, so will you readers *wink*.
To get the ball rolling on this major May madness, let's have a giveaway. I do so love them! I've got ONE final promo copy left of Defying Pack Law. Who wants to win it? Hands up? LOL, wait that won't work. How about you leave a comment instead, and tell me who you think is hotter–Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Anakin Skywalker (the grown up one), Darth Vader or Yoda? And for those spitting out your drink over my inclusion of the green master of the force, just think what he could do to your body just using his mind? ROFL. Okay, maybe we shouldn't picture that. I admit, I am a Han Solo fan.
Anyway, leave your choice and I'm going to pick a random comment Friday morning, May 6th, the date of release for Defying Pack Law. Oh and be sure to leave your email in the comment so I can let you know if you've won.
In the meantime while you wait with bated breath for Friday, find something awesome to read.
Dana fled her pack and their laws to live on her terms, but the price of defiance was her happiness.
Pack law states Lycan females must be shared by two or more males, but young and in love, Dana flees rather than be forced into a ménage. Her life on the run, constantly on guard, has no room for happiness. When her past catches up and brings her back to the home she fled, she finds herself reevaluating her beliefs. To her surprise, she discovers her body and inner wolf want to claim three males.
Could it be that now older and wiser, she can accept the Lycan polyamorous way of life? Or will jealousy and fear send her running again?
